SIA POV

It was raining heavily that day too . I looked outside the window, a boy  looked like my age had knife in his hand which was covered with blood . In a blink of sec he collapsed infront of my eyes . So I ran towards outside of my house . when I reached that place there was no one…….It felt like dream . I still question myself about this “was that boy real?”  This happened 11 yrs ago but it is still fresh in my mind .

(BUS HORN)                                                           

I wake up from thoughts. Today is my first day at crime branch divison . I entered inside bus but  there was no seat left so I had to stand all the way .  I paid the fare and came outside the bus .

Everything was new people , place …I felt excited .Many thoughts keep coming as

I rushed  towards my department . I entered the room and I saw a girl and two boys were standing. I took a deep breath and looked around . Piles of file were kept on desk . It felt like 50-60 people were working .                                             

(clunk clunk clunk  )                                                                                      “So you four are appointed as new officers in division A .Introduce yourself first.” hard and disciplined voice came from behind me .                                                                            

" YES SIR" WE ALL SAID TOGETHER

‘I am Ella .I came from Luthenia city . I will work with full responsibility Sir .' And she ended her introduction with salute . She looked so pretty and classy while giving her introduction.

'I am Carter .I came from Morefian town .Happy to meet you 😁 Sir .' He sounded so joyful and positive . He was quite good looking .

Now it was my time .I was nervous as hell ...

'I am Sai .I live here . I will work with full energy 💪Sir .' I ended my introduction with salute . My heart was beating so fast ...but I managed to save my face anyhow.

'DYLAN'

A cold deep voice hit the atmosphere...

Everyone looked at him with question on faces.

He is taller than Carter and with forehead exposed and one strand of hair falling on eyebrow He looked handsome but his brown eyes felt mysterious like a story is hidden ...

'I am captain Edward . All four of you will work under me .That area is yours . There are files on the desks read them and give me report related to them till next evening .'

'YES SIR' We said .

We all moved towards our desk .

My desk was next to Dylan ..He was so cold and unfriendly .

"Hi Dylan.Let's help each other from now ☺️ in cases ." I said .

' NO. I work alone so from now on Don't involve yourself in my work .'

I felt like punching him. This was first time anyone talk to me this coldly and rudely.

Ella And Carter were shocked too .

I opened a file and started reading it . I was not reading though just trying to ignore what happened just now . I was Embarrassed...

LAUNCH TIME

Ella and Carter came to invite me to launch together . Both tried to comfort me .

'That cold jerk deserves a good beating' Carter said .

I smiled .

The whole day I didn't looked at Dylan at all .

[ 6:35 pm]

(ring ring ring )

'Hello This is Carter from crime branch police office . How may I help you ?'

"DEAA ..D BODY "

"Dead body ? Where ?"

"Tasmania Market 24 hr Night shop "

"Okay we are coming there in few minutes. Don't touch anything around the body" Carter ended the call .

"Captain we have a case . Someone saw a dead body in Tasmania Market . "

"Okay This is the time to test four of you . You four will work in two teams . Dylan and sia , Carter and Ella report me everything you see , you do there . Go now !! "Captain said in deep voice .

We all ran towards our car .

( THUD )

"What's the problem with you ? Can't you see I will drive ? "Dylan said to Carter .

I AM GOING TO DRIVE CAR " Carter said angrily!

'No I will.' Dylan said coldly.

"OKAY LET'S DECIDE WITH STONE ,PAPER " Carter said.

'It's not the time to play Stone paper ' Dylan said.

It's not the time to fight too " Carter said.

"Both of you sit in back I am gonna Drive" Sia said in frustrated voice.

"We don't have time guys. Why are you fighting like kids? " Ella screamed .

Carter And Dylan both sit in back.

"Already 5 min late " Ella said.

' Why is she driving so slowly . We are already late?' Dylan said in deep voice.

"It's not my fault that we are late . you fought like a children and you are blaming me for the late . I am responsible citizen and I will drive in speed limit ." Sia said while looking in the front mirror and eyes of Dylan and Sia met .

(SIA POV)

Huh What does he think of him ? From now on he will get the same kind response he gave me .

But his eyes ... felt like I know him from past ...

Sia pulled herself from thoughts and kept driving.

[MURDER SPOT]

PEOPLE WERE SURROUNDING THE SHOP .

"MOVE MOVE " ALL ENTERED THE SHOP.

A Girl of age around 22-23 yr was lying dead .

"She was strangled with chain in corner of shop . And It looked like she came from party ." Sia said .

"BOMBI DISCO CLUB " Dylan said .

All three looked at him with question on faces .

There is only BOMBI DISCO club close to this shop . So there is 97 percent chance she came from there . Dylan continued .

'How do you know ?' Sia asked.

"Someone was driving this slowly It was easy to look at the shops and building from window." Dylan ended with sarcasm on his face .

'Can't you speak straight ? Do you have to be this rude whenever I ask something ?'Sia said.

'Ella and Carter Go check that disco.' Dylan said .

'Wait ! you are not our leader'. Carter mummurred.

'Ahh what .. ' Ella pinched Carter.

"Don't waste time in fighting again . Let's go ." Ella said to Carter.

Carter and Ella went to BOMBI DISCO club.

Sia went to the shopkeeper.

'So Exactly what happened ?' Sia asked shopkeeper .

'Madam this girl came to my shop around 4.45 pm.She wandered in my shop for 15-20 minutes and picked biscuit packet in last and was waiting for someone infront of my shop .

I had emergency .'

'Emergency ?' Sia asked in hurry

' Nature's call' . shopkeeper replied.

'Oh okay so '

'So I told her to look after my shop for 3-4 minutes. But When I came back she wasn't there . I entered the shop and after 40-45 minutes I found her body lying in the corner .'

'When did you leave the shop ' Sia asked.

"Around 5:40 pm " Shopkeeper said.

'Did anyone came in your shop during the time when girl was here?'Sia asked.

'Not any man or woman but a child of this neighborhood came into shop when she was wandering around' He replied.

'okay ' Sia said.

Sia looked at Dylan .

He was looking for something in Shop .

'We are not here to buy goods ' Sia said.

'I am not you' Dylan said .

'So what are you searching ?'

'If you noticed the chain marks on neck it looked like bicycle chain . So Either the murderer brought the chain with him or picked from the shop . If we get the weapon it's easy to catch murder . we may get fingerprints on it.'

Dylan went to shopkeeper .

"Do you sell bicycle chain or any chain ?"

'Yes I do sell '

" Show me the stock where it is ?"

Wait! There was five chain why it is only four ? shopkeeper said.

'Hmm the chain marks matches to this type of chain '

Dylan rushed to outside of shop and Sia went along with him .

They both went outside the shop .

Sia looked both sides of road.

'what do you think which way killer went, left or right side ? ' Sia asked.

'Left more probably If killer is not dumb and belongs to this area.' Dylan said coldly.

'Why ? How do you know again ?'

'As I told already someone drove so slowly...'

'Stop . You don't have to be sarcastic all time .'

'CCTV .There are 3-4 cctv near by on right side of this shop . So we have to search on left side first .'

' We ' So someone acknowledged that we are team .

'I have to. you keep talking to me .'

'I don't ' sia said .

BOTH STARTED SEARCHING TOWARDS LEFT SIDE .

[ BOMBI DISCO CLUB]

Ella and Carter reached the club .

Ella went to manager of club .

'Hello we are from police department . Please co-operate with us. ' Ella said to manager.

'Have you seen her here?'

'No I don't . May be waiters and DJs have seen her!'

Ella turned around and saw Carter dancing on stage .

'This guy 🤦!'

Ella asked waiter and DJs but no one saw her .

'Carter Let's go . stop dancing . I don't think she came here .' Ella said sadly .

'Her name is Julia. She came here to deal with some drug dealers . ' Carter said smirkly.

'Nice I am impressed . you can do something other than fighting .'

'I didn't started . He started first .'

'okay Did you found in which she was carrying drugs or money ?'Ella asked .

'A girl said she was carrying Red purse wrapped around her shoulder.' Carter said.

'So now we have to search for that drug dealer .'Ella said .

ELLA CALLED SIA .

'Sia did you find any red purse or drugs related item around the crime scene?'Ella asked.

'No we didn't find anything inside the shop .So we headed in the left direction of shop.'

"Her name is Julia and she came to that club with some drug related deal . " Ella said.

"Oh ! That's nice . we know the name of girl .

Ella now you go to crime scene, close it and return to headquarter as it already past 9pm.

we will discuss further there ." Sia said.

"OKAY LET'S MEET IN HEADQUARTERS .

COME SAFELY ." ELLA said .

( Call ended)

'What did Ella said ?' Dylan asked.

'That girl name is Julia and she went that club to deal with some drug dealers .Also she had Red purse .' Sia answered .

"So If my intuition is right we may find that purse somewhere around road in this direction . " Dylan said.

'As there was raining until 2-3 pm . Roads are still wet and there are so many potholes .In night you may fall So walk slowly .' Sia said .

Dylan ignores .

(SIA POV)

He ignored me ????!

wah he thinks he is boss or something . God please make him fall in pothole then I will donate 200$ to orphanage.

( CHUMP CHAP CHAP )

'AHH OUCH ???!:!- Why did I fall 😭 I wished for Dylan to fall '

'DYYLAN HELP ME .'

Dylan turned .

'Who was saying walk slowly ?'

"Will you help or not ? Give me your hand .'

Dylan gave his hand .

Sia hold the hand and tried to stand up but she ended up hugging him tightly..

(SIA POV)

THUMP THUMP THUMP ...

My heart is beating so fast . He might hear it .

But why I am liking it. He is so warm .I must be out of my mind.

'If you have hugged me enough then ..'

Sia pulled herself .

'Where? when I was hugging you ? I just touched you . It's normal if you help someone in this situation .' Sia explained.

How did you fall though ? Dylan asked.

'Something like Thick wire was in the pothole . I didn't saw it and ... '

Dylan moved his torch to that area .

'RED PURSE. ' Dylan said excitedly .

'Yes I found it finally .' Sia said.

'you ? '

'Yes I was the one who fell .'

Dylan took the purse and both went towards the car.

[IN THE CAR]

Dylan opened the purse .

6 pkt of drugs !? Sia said.

( ring ring ring)

Dylan picked.

" Where are you both ? It's already past 10pm.

Come fast and explain everything ."

'Yes captain we are on the way to headquarter.'

Dylan started driving and suddenly his eyes fell on knees of sia . It was bleeding .

(DYLAN POV)

'It may have hurting a lot . How is she so careless ? Should I take her to hospital?'

Dylan looked again at Sia . She was sleeping and her head was rolling to both sides of seat.

This girl always end up increasing my temperature . Again Why I am thinking about her.

CAR REACHED HEADQUARTER.

Dylan parked the car .

'Sia Wake Up ! ' Dylan said in high pitch.

'Oh We reached already?!' Sia said in sleeping voice

Both Entered their office.

Ella and Carter were waiting .

What happen ? Why both of your dresses are dirty ? Both of you fall somewhere ? Carter said laughingly.

Dylan looked at Sia .

It is your fault look how they are laughing at us. Dylan said in low voice .

'We found the purse and it has drugs pkt too.'Sia said .

(CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK)

Captain Came and looked at Sia and Dylan.

'What happened to your dresses?' Captain asked laughingly.

"Okay whatever . As it is already so late explain everything in morning . And you all have only 2 more days to solve this case . Go rest now."

After saying this captain went back .

'Let's go Sia ' Ella said .

Dylan and Carter also went to their sleep cells .

Sia and Ella's sleep cells are on 5th floor and Dylan and Carter are on 6th floor .

Dylan was standing infront of mirror and looked at his shirt.

'What happened to you there Dylan ? Why was your heart beating fast ?

You can't let others involve in your life .'
