Heiro ran fast, not caring if anyone thought him mad. The emwrald gem was the only thing that could stop the world from perishing. Then he bumped into a girl.
It was Hiroshima, the emperor's daughter, whom Heiro had a deadly crush on. But there was no chance that a farmer's boy could ever be with an emperor's daughter.
"Heiro! Watch where you are going! You almost destroyed my gown." Hiroshima shouted. Heiro looked up to find that she was looking straight at him. How she knew his name, he had no idea.
"I'm sorry. Ive got to go to master Yoongi." He said as he dusted himself and made sure the emerald gem was still inside his satchel.
"Master Yoongi is with my father. You'd have to see him later." Hiroshima replied. Heiro nodded. But he needed to see Master Yoongi at once.
"Hiroshima, I have to see master Yoongi. It's very important, could you squeeze in some time for me?" He asked with hope and despair all mixed in his eyes. Hiroshima nodded.
"Very well then. But don't be downcast when my father sends you out with two oxes to plough the fields. He tends to do that when angry." Heiro nodded and followed her, walking behind her because it was wrong for a commoner to walk beside a royalty. And this was just the beginning for both of them.
The two walked into the abandoned shed where emperor Goonyi had secret meetings with Master Yoongi. Hiroshima knocked on the door, hoping her father would be in a good mood.
The door flung wide open and a missle, barely missing Heiro's hair and Hiroshima's eyes flew past them. Then came emperor Goonyi, his face puffy and red with his eyes set ablaze. This was a bad time to talk to him.
Then came Master Yoongi, holding a cup of tea with a calm smile on his face. Master Yoongi was not one to show that much emotions. His face aas always balnk, that irked Hiroshima.
"Hiroshima, what are you doing here with this peasant boy?" Emperor Goonyi asked. Heiro bowed his head, it was not good to look at the emperor straight, so Hiroshima spoke up.
"This is Heiro. And he wishes to meet master Yoongi. Immediately." Hiroshima's words came out quite rude.
"No." It was plain and held no space for arguement. Emperor Goonyi said no and Heiro felt all his hope sink to the ground. But Hiroshima was one who loved getting into arguments with her father.
"Papa, you will let him go or else...." Emperor Goonyi nodded and Heiro entered the shed, leaving the two royalties glaring at themselves. Hiroshima knew a secret about emperor Goonyi that would destroy him if exposed.
