"Oh God! I'm going to be late! They said that the alarm clock I brought is gonna wake me up for sure, but I didn't wake up! What a useless alarm clock!"

I'm Layla Monelyn, just a normal highschool girl who's just going to have a entrance exam and already late. I'm living alone because my parents is working abroad for my appliances and needs.

"Ahh.. that useless alarm clock! That because of that alarm clock why I'm late in my entrance exam!"

As you know, I'm late because of my useless alarm clock who's not being able to wake me up in the morning and this day is my entrance exam!

The school I'm going to enter is National Intelligence Highschool who's only for a students that have a high IQ, It doesn't matter that if you are poor or rich, the school only cares about the students who's entering their school are geniuses.

As I continued to run, I bumped into someone, a handsome guy with a black hat on his head and taller than me. He doesn't seem that muscular but his skin is whiter than mine.

‘Ah! First thing in the morning is bumping into someone? Oh God! Have mercy on me! And it seems that he's rich.. ahhh!! what if he ask me to pay for him if he got hurt?’

"Ah! I'm so sorry Mister!" I said to him

‘Ahh.. but nothing can be done, it already happened anyway but.. what should I do? Help him up? But I don't have any seconds to help him up! The most important thing is my entrance exam! Sorry Mister!’

While worrying over him. I come to my senses and continue to run.

‘Finally! I'm here at last!' I reached the school I'm going to have an entrance exam on. But after all that running, I'm so exhausted..

I opened the door a little bit loud and I hope I didn't disturbed anyone.. ahh.. who wouldn't be disturbed by that kind of noise? But I hope the teacher will not get angry..

"Sorry I'm late!" I said with an appearance of sweating a lot.. I really hope that the teacher will not scold me..

"Are you Ms. Layla Monelyn?" Sir Lorren said.

Sir Lorren Cail is the teacher for guiding us in this entrance exam, if you have any questions or problems you can go talk and leave it to Sir Lorren. He's also handsome, he's black silky looking hair, he's light blue eyes like the ocean, and tall body. Even with he's wearing a glass, he has so many fans in this school and the also reason for so many students to apply to this school is because there's many handsome guy in this school, well, most of the teachers teaching and the students applying and studying in this school is rich.

‘Am I going to scold at? Is he angry?'

"Yes sir, I am Layla Monelyn." I replied

"The seating arrangement is done for the students who's taking the exam, for being late, Ms. Monelyn, can you take your seat in the back?"

"Yes sir."

I sat in the back and did what Sir Lorren told me.

‘Good thing I'm not scolded..' I feel relief and leave a sigh

The bell rang and the entrance exam just ended.. I didn't know this one will have a lot of questions but don't worry! I think that I did well..

"Ahhhh! I'm exhausted, Hmm.. what to do? Let me take a tour in the school."

While I'm looking around in the school, I heard a sound like someone is punching someone..

‘Huh? What's that? Better take a look' I followed the sound I heard earlier and take a look.

‘A mister bullying a little boy?' [She means that the boy is helpless and can do nothing; can't even fight back or have no chance of winning.]

...I see a man who punched a boy just now who is as the same age as me? I think so..

‘Huh? Bullying? Should I go look for a teacher?'

As I'm trying to figure it out, I suddenly realized that he was the guy I bumped into earlier "I hope he's not hurt, I'm not rich so I don't have that much money to pay for medical expenses" I said to myself with a nervous face.. then I ran away so he won't see me.

That scared me. I don't know what to do if he sees me, He didn't say anything when I bumped into him. I don't have my wallet with me, he did not have a scratch when I bumped into him right? I'm just gonna go home and eat. I'm starving to death."

I see a man I just bumped into this morning.. I don't he noticed me so let just say I'm safe.

I just got home and going to my room.. I'm really exhausted today..

"Ahh.. What an unlucky day this was for me.."

On the way home, I see a dog who's always barking me and and the dog broke the chain and chased me.I finally got lost of that dog and when I'm going to cross the road, a car with a unbelievable speed suddenly appeared and almost got me.

[Flashback]

"You! What the hell are you doing?! Do you know how to drive!? The traffic light is still red! Are you blind!?!? Hey!!"

Then my neighbor's flower pot in the second floor fell and I almost got hit. I miraculously survived that death experience.

[End of flashback]

"Sigh How am I still alive? Whatever, I'll just wait for the result of my entrance exam to arrive."

I waited and waited.. and finally! I can finally look to the result!

"I passed! Of course I'm gonna passed the exam! I'm a genius! Gonna get ready for school!" I said to myself

I passed! Hmm.. I wonder what kind of school will it be like? Am I going to make friends with everyone? Hmm.. I just need 2 or 3 friends.. No, Just me will be okay. Why do I need a friend for by the way?..

It's morning already.. I gently open my eyes as I heard the chirping of the birds like they're singing a lovely and beautiful song which calmed my heart, the sound of fluttering leaves and the golden color of the sunlight touched my skin. A few minutes later I got up from my bed. I yawned and stretched my arms widely as I looked outside the window and said "Ahh! Good morning world!" with a smile.

Today is my first day of going to school, I passed the entance exam and I'm a little bit excited! It's still so early and I'm going to get ready now!

I cooked and ate my breakfast, took a bath, and brush my teeth and after 30 minutes I prepared my bag.. "Okay... water.. check! handkerchief.. check! pens.. check!" I checked my bag if I forgot something to bring with me.

"Now! I'm ready! Let's go!!"

I sat down on a long wooden bench chair and waited for the bus to arrive. After a little while, the bus came and I got on.

*At school*

I got to school and I'm searching for my classroom now, oh, and by the way I have a map here.. because this school is so big.

"Hmm.. Room class a.."

10 minutes had passed and.. "Room class a.. Room class a.. Hmm? Wait, Umm.. I have a bad feeling about this..." I'm still finding my classroom ‘And.. yes, like I thought I'm lost..'

After a few minutes and asking someone for direction.. I got in the classroom and I was a little bit exhausted.. I need to exercise this body of mine! Without further ado, I opened the door and find where I'm going to seat.

‘Hmm? Did I got here a little early? Well anyway, It's a good thing I'm not late'

After a few minutes, while I'm waiting for the teacher to arrive, I noticed that it suddenly got noisy and I look closer to see what's going on.

"Kyaaa~!!"

"Good morning Kyle!"

"Umm.. Can you please accept this?"

"Can we have lunch together?"

"Come and sit beside me~!!"

"He...."

‘He was the guy that I bumped into!!! Don't tell me he was hurt that time!? Is he going to blame me!? Wait! Let's calm down..' I was shocked when I saw the face of that guy, he was just the one that I got bumped into and the cause of all of this commotion.

I heard the sound of the door and someone came in, the reason I came in my senses after spacing out.. While everyone is busy admiring the handsome guy a tall man came in and stand in front of everyone

"Quiet! I'm Mark Crowell. From today, I will be the adviser and your teacher in this class. Since it's only the first day, you all have to stand in front, introduce and tell us about yourselves. After that I will be telling you the rules and regulations in this school. Now, let's start with the girl at the back."

So he's the teacher of this class.. I'm not expecting today to introduce ourselves, I thought that we're gonna study in the first day.

As they continue to introduce themselves, I look at the guy where the girls went crazy with. I started thinking if I would apologize to him one more time or just act like nothing happened.

‘I'm just gonna listen to the students who's introducing themselves'

As it's starting to get noisy, It is him.. that made all the girls blush..

"Hi, I'm Kyle" He said

That's it? Wow, he's introduction was more way simple than the others. I wonder why the girls admire him so much..

As the time went by.. "Ms. it's your turn now. Stand up and introduce yourself." I didn't realize that it was finally my turn..

"Hi, I'm Layla Monelyn. I hope I can get along with some of you" I introduced myself in the front "Thank you Ms. Monelyn, Next!" After introducing myself, I simply glance on him as I return to my seat but.. ‘W-what?..did our eyes just met?!' My heart skip a beat from the shock I felt.. ‘It's just a coincidence.. right?' But really.. that was unexpected.
