"Come on, Shio! Just come with me!" Shio's friend, Sara, has been forcing Shio to come with her in a bar for hours. "Sara, I told you. I wouldn't come to such places. Bar is a disgusting place where people drink and have sex and alcohol is disgusting." Sara dramatically gasps at Shio's statement. "Shio! The bar is not a disgusting place! The bar is a fun place and alcohol is not disgusting!"

Shio shrugs. "That's just my opinion. I'd rather stay home than going to that bar you're stating." Sara sighs loudly. "Ugh, fine!" Sara rolls her eyes and crosses her arms as Shio cooks their dinner.

Sara Whitman is Shio's best friend. They met when they were still college student when Shio is all alone, no friends or he's that person that doesn't have someone to talk to. But it's okay for Shio since he doesn't like to talk that much. Sara knows about everything about Shio. From when he's kid to who he is right now.

"Sara, eat." Shio serves their dinner as Sara sits down and begins to eat. As for Shio, he's still preparing his dinner.

A few hours later, Sara was now getting ready to go to the bar while Shio is cleaning their shared apartment.

"Shi, better get some rest after that because you have to work later, right?"

"No, I'm on a day off." Shio begins to clean the floor using the vacuum.

"Oh, okay. That's good. Well, I'll get going now. Bye." Sara kisses Shio's cheek before leaving.

After Shio is done with everything, he sit down on the couch and opens the TV and he begin to watch.

When suddenly, Shina, which is Sara's little sister and his friend, calls him.

"Shina, what's up?"

"Ackk! Girl! I missed you so much!"

"Oh, come on, I know you do. Just kidding. I missed you too, idiot." Shio could feel Shina pout, making him chuckle.

"But wait! Did you know?! My sister is in the bar! Like, right now! Did you know that?!" Shina practically screamed at Shio on the phone.

"Y-yes... in fact, she told me first."

"I know right! I wish I could go there right now!"

"No, Shina. The bar is a dirty place. I'm telling you. You shouldn't go there. Besides, even though your sister is there, she wouldn't let you. Because you're too young for that." Shina groans from the other side.

"I know right! I told her I can handle myself!" Shina huffs as Shio chuckles. "No, Shina. You can't. The last time you went to the mall, you almost got kidnapped." Shina laughs at the memory.

Shio was confused everytime Shina laugh when he's talking about her incident a few months ago when she almost got kidnapped. Girl is saying she can handle herself but she really can't.

"You should just listen to your sister. A few hours ago, she's literally forcing me to go with her since she doesn't have someone there." Shio stands up and heads to the kitchen to prepare himself a warm glass of milk.

"I'm glad she let you off." Shina laughs with Shio. "Agreed. But anyway, how's your studies going? I assume you passed?" Shio smiles.

"Oh, yes, I passed! Like can you believe I'm going to college!" Shina squeals happily from the other side.

"Congratulations! Your sister would be so proud of you!" Shio giggles as Shina laugh happily. "I know your sister is really proud of you. After all, you'll be graduating from high school."

"Yes, yes! I hate high school so much!" Shio could feel Shina pout. "I know. But I guarantee to you, you're going to hate college more." Shina laughs.

"Okay, Shina. I've got to go now. I'm going out tomorrow early. Bye, Shina. Take your medicines, okay?"

"Okay! Bye, Shio!"

"Bye, Shina." Shio hangs up and sets his phone aside as he drink his warm glass of milk.

Sara and Shina are sisters. Sara is a fun person, but she's really strict when it comes to Shina, the only family that she have. Shio treats the girls as his sisters since he doesn't have a sibling.

After Shio drinks his milk, he begin to feel sleepy. So he locks the door. He doesn't have a problem to open the door anymore 'cause Sara brought the keys.

He brushes his teeth before going to his bedroom.

Shio lays down on the bed and covers himself with the comforter. With one last thought in his mind, he falls asleep...

The next morning...

"Shio, wake up! We don't have stocks in the kitchen anymore!" Sara's scream from the kitchen woke Shio up from his deep sleep. "What..." He sits up and rubs his eyes.

Sara comes to Shio's room. "It's your turn to take the groceries, right?" Shio nods and stands up and stretches himself.

"Okay. The money is on you." Sara sighs and left Shio's room.

Shio sighs as he heads to the bathroom to get ready.

"Sara! Where's the car keys?!" Shio shouts from the doorway. "It's in the cabinet!" Sara shouts back from the living room. Shio finds the car keys and leaves once he already saw them.

"Uh, hello, miss?" The woman that Shio calls gives him a judgemental look. "What?" The woman spat rudely as Shio tries to control his temper. She was clearly disrespecting him.

"Can you please get my groceries for me? Thank you." Shio smiles nicely and hands her the list of the product he needs. The saleslady eyes him up and down judgmentally.

"You? Ugh, no way. Just get them yourselves." An irk mark appears on Shio's head but he tries to control his temper.

"But miss, it's your job to get the groceries for me. If you didn't, your salary will be deducted, am I correct?" Shio smiles innocently as the saleslady raises a brow.

"Plus, I can call your manager anytime if you didn't do your work. So please, do your work. I wouldn't even want you to be scolded." The saleslady's hands were shaking. The manager of the grocery store is actually the person that every employee fears in the supermarket.

" Y-yes, sir..." The saleslady grabs the list from Shio's hand, as well as the cart and left to do the grocery for him.

The supermarket that Shio is in is good. You have two options, let the employees get your groceries for you or get the groceries yourself and pay on the counter.

Shio chose 'let the employees do your groceries' for the first time to test it out.

"Thank you." Shio sarcastically smile and grabs the cart from the saleslady, containing his needs. He then proceed to the counter to pay.

After everything, Shio was now driving home with him singing beautifully but suddenly, a car was rushing towards him. The car abruptly stops, as well as Shio's. "Oh my lord." Shio whispers to himself harshly and comes out of the car as the driver of the car does the same.

The driver was about to apologize but Shio speaks first. "You shouldn't work while driving. Safety comes first." The driver was shocked at what Shio said. "Y-yes, sir..." Then another man comes out from the car. "What's happening here?" A deep attractive voice with an Italian accent rings out. Shio looks at the man and was too stunned to speak to see such a handsome man exists.

"Uh, s-sir..." The driver scratches the back of his head.

Shio recovers from his shock when the tall handsome man speaks to him. "Name your price." Shio looks at him in confusion. "I don't need your money. And my car is not ruined." The man sighs. "Waste of time." Shio raises a brow while the man gets inside the car and orders the driver to get inside and drive.

"What an a**hole." Shio rolls his eyes and drives away from there, not knowing he dropped something.

The driver picks the thing that Shio dropped and gets inside the car and drives away.

"I heard Shina called yesterday." Sara said as she eats while watching the TV as Shio was resting beside Sara. "Yes, she called me. I think she's calling me because she wanted to tell me that she passed." Shio chuckles as Sara rolls her eyes.

"Tch. She's always like that." Sara rolls her eyes as Shio smirks teasingly. "But you love her, right~?" Sara suddenly blushes as she glares at Shio. "Shut up! Just watch the TV!" Shio laughs loudly and looks back at the TV.

But Sara was smiling slightly. It's true. She really loves her sister but she doesn't want to show it.

Giving everything that Shina wants is Sara's love language towards her.

"Hey."

"Hm?" Sara looks at Shio. "I've encountered this handsome man... he's really handsome... and he's Italian..." Shio blankly said as Sara looks at him, jaw dropped.

"What?! You finally found someone handsome!" Sara squeals happily. "Yes, he's handsome but not my type." Sara deadpans.

She sighs, "you know, Shi, there's nothing wrong with having high standards, but you need to lower them a little. Because, how will you date someone if your standards are that higher?" Sara looks at her friend.

"No, Sara. I don't have a standard for men anymore. I'm tired of loving someone who can't even love me back."

"But, he might love you." Sara shrugs. "He might love me, but I don't think so. People won't love me. I know that." Sara looks at Shio with soften eyes. "Shio, stop being pessimistic." Shio shrugs. "I don't know if I can still do that."

"Shio, you're smart. You know better than to think negative things, you know better than to be a pessimist." Shio bites his lip a little.

Sara puts her hand on Shio's shoulder. "I know it's hard, but nothing is impossible."

"You've got that quote from that anime volleyball you've been watching, yes?" Sara smiles brightly.

"Yes. And it's still not animated. He said that it's just hard, not impossible." Sara smiles. "Inspiring quote huh." Shio nods slowly.
