"no way I'm doing that!" she shook her head, her face clearly showing how offended she was.

"oh c'mon Yui, It isn't that serious, stuff like these are to be taken as jokes"

"But that's evil Hana, I can't ask someone out as a mere dare! That would be lying, moreover he isn't a guy to fall for such cheap tricks!" Yui argued. She was correct. Playing with someone's feelings was off limits to her as it should be. Her friends Hana and Kyoko on the other hand had different viewpoints.

" Girl, it's just a joke! Do it! Haven't you heard about these pranks lately? It's fun, and it's your dare. It won't get serious Yui, if it does, just admit you were playing a prank." Kyoko said leaning on the window pane.

Yui sighed, knowing there's no escape from these two.

" ugh, fine.." She said walking out of the door of her classroom.

Yui Takahashi, a junior, who was now on her way to ask someone out for the first time in her life! But, as a dare? She never really fell for anyone that deep, it was always short lived. She had a busy life, being in school clubs, working a part-time and most importantly making time for herself to work towards her dreams. Falling in love with someone seemed like a luxury to her.

Walking down the staircase she took slow steps towards the music room,playing around with her fingers.

"see you tomorrow in practice! Bye guys!" He walked out of the room with a huge black bag which definitely carried a guitar inside.

"h-hey Senpai" Yui almost stumbled infront of her target

"yes Yui? How may I help you?"

"uh- do you have a minute?"

"Yeah I do, what's wrong?" He asked clearly confused.

"Okay I'll tell you at the backyard of our school, Please meet me there" Yui ran away saying that.

He stood there dumb-founded. Asahi Sato, a senior, who is well known for his singing skills and polite behaviour. Fan-girls swarm around him like bees and why wouldn't they? He was charming, sweet, talented! Everything a girl could dream of!

Timeskip: AT THE BACKYARD

"senpai - say something, don't stay quiet.." Yui requested.

" do you actually mean what you just said?" he asked to reconfirm.

"y-yes.. I did mean it.I like you Asahi Senpai. In fact I have liked you for quite sometime now." Yui's face was beet red. Even if this was a joke, for a moment it felt real to her.

When Yui looked back up at Asahi's face all she saw was a pair of kind eyes and a painful yet an alluring smile, that could steal anyone's heart. His eyes spoke of stories, which his lips never.

" I don't need your answer right away senpai..I don't want to force you" Yui felt her heart sink to the depths of her being. How was she gonna face him now after she tells him it was all a joke? She felt heartless.

" are you going back alone? I can drop you home" Asahi said checking the time on his glistening wrist-watch.

"uh - um..Okay" was all that came out of Yui's mouth.

"wait, she actually did it?" Hana and kyoko gasped as they watched them from the top of the building.

"it's not like the school's sweetheart is going to like her anyway!" kyoko laughed it off.

Timeskip : End of school

Cursing her deeds in mind, Yui packed her bag and headed out her classroom. She walked towards her locker only to find a tall figure leaning on her locker.

" s-senpai? " what are you doing here?" Yui asked kind of surprised

" what? Didn't we plan on walking home together? " he smiled sweetly.

" oh god, what did I sign up for - " those were the thoughts of a girl who just played with the fire called love.
