Anna's POV~

Oh my God!!! Am late for school. It's 7:30am and I haven't had my bath not breakfast,how come I slept so much. Seems I need to get an alarm.I must be so exhausted from yesterday's lessons... I got up from bed,said my morning prayers.... ran to the bathroom....brushed my teeth....had my bath....Jeez, my uniform isn't ironed, seems I got to wear them like that.I mopped my body dry.....put on my school uniform.... brushed my hair and dabbed some makeups on. Immediately I packed my books into my school bag then I ran downstairs with full speed... "Anna" called out mum. "Won't you have your breakfast before leaving for school". No, mum....am late. I ll make sure I eat at school during lunch. Bye mum... See you later!!

Girls high school is an all girls school as the name implies. Brenda was my best friend and the only friend I had. I really had a good life at Girls High school. No boys,no disturbance - disturbance which I've never even experienced. I don't even know a thing about how boys behave.Just imagine a school without boys in it. Sometimes, I think mum just decided to bring me here because of what happened between her and my dad. Since then she never trusted any man. She believed men were all the same- cheats,liars. My mum has alway acted as a mother as well as a father,I believe she doesn't want me to have anything to do with boys for now. All I should face for now was to excel in my academics. So..... Girls High School is the best for me!!

There's this guy living close to my house, Micheal. He looked so nice and everything, each time,I catch him taking glances at me. I knew he wanted to make friends but I didn't give him a chance. I really don't want any guy in my life irrespective of who he is or what kind of relationship he wants with me. His mum is actually close to my mum though. Anytime am back from school, shes always at my house or vice versa- my mum at her house. They are just so close. One day, Mrs Jeremiah, Micheal's mum warned my mum about me going to an all girls school. She said it won't have a good benefit on me. My mum actually found this right. Because she also knows the bad effect of it. Then, she said I was going to transfer to a mixed school, which happened to be Micheal's school. I felt all heartbroken because all my life has been in Girls High school. I kept thinking how would I start all over again, making new friends, new classmates and on top all the so called disturbances. She said I wouldn't feel like a stranger there since Micheal was there. "The Micheal I don't even get along with, I said". She said we would surely get along. I was going to transfer by weekend...OMG... That's so early. Hmm I was really transferring to a mixed school. Heard from Brenda the school is full of cute boys...Duhh.. who cares actually..."Don't have time for shits", I said.

My mum and I decided to check out the school the next day. "Mum, I didn't even ask for the name of the school... What is it?". Anna, my mum called. The name of the school is "Magis High school". "Hmm,sounds cool", I said. We got to the school at the wrong time... Eww... By their break time. All eyes were on me. I heard different murmurings......"She's a transfer student". "Oh my goodness, shes gorgeous". "Her ****** is not big enough".. how can a guy be so rude and disgusting.... Even heard one of the most annoying from a guy-"Not my type at all".He was tall, handsome, seemed bossy. Who even wants to be his type. I hissed. This school is just filled with nuisances. I just have to cope with all this. Then I saw Micheal, he caught me looking bad at the guy. He greeted me for the first time in my life and in his life. "Hi,cutie" then I turned to look and replied "Hi" that's all. He said,"How do you find my school". I said, the school looks nice though,but someone just annoyed me. "Oh, that guy right" he said. He's name is Dan. Every girl wants him in this school, but still never have seen his type... But don't worry you have me, I can be your friend... "Hm that will be nice", I said.

My mum and I got to the admin office. I was given a list of science books to get at the bookshop.Oh before I forget, I'm a science student, the ones people believed to have the biggest brains... Also we purchased the school uniform-short black skirt and a blue shirt compared to my former school which was a dress,school customized stockings- long and black with also a school shoe - black also. The school rules and regulations were handed over to me, I read it through. I was shown my locker and given a key. I was asked to resume the next Monday. "What a dope school", I said in my mind. Think I would love this!!!

For the next few days, Micheal and I grew more closer. He seemed nice. The first boy I'll ever know in my life. He was an art student, so he told me we wouldn't be in the same class but he said I would also find others at the school more welcoming. For those days, I didn't bother to go back to Girls High- busy preparing for my new school. By evening, when Micheal would have been back from school. He will come to my house and we'll talk about Magis. He told me about all the schedules and everything. That way I didn't feel really strange to the school.

Today is Monday, my first day at Magis. I got up from bed and prepared for school. Micheal and I went to school together. Feels good to be early at your new school. Immediately we entered the school, everyone were just staring.....like I don't know why. Micheal and I departed ways, he went to his class-art and me-science. Ss3 science had 20 students in total. Our class teacher gave me desk....so....... I was sitting on the first row of the class at the middle. Everyone immediately came to introduce themselves to me,they all felt welcoming except two students. A girl and a boy. Oh!! It was the guy who said that shit(Not my type at all) that was Dan... he seemed so rude. Then, the girl I don't know who she was.

Classes seemed fun and interesting. Teachers were trooping in period after period. By break, everyone went out to get snacks but I decided to stay back. Liya, a beautiful short girl with long hair came to me and said we should go out together so we went. As we were leaving the class Dan kept staring at me. Don't know why though. As we going out, a girl coming in looked at me disgustingly. Liya then told me not to mind then I asked who she was. She said she was the girl who didn't come to say hi to you when you came. She kind of thinks Dan is into you since the day you came with your mum. Oh! But I remembered he said I wasn't his type, I said in my mind. Her name was Gen. Gen likes Dan but Dan doesn't give a **** about her. I've seriously started to face troubles.

By closing, I was still packing up my books when Dan approached me. Everyone were staring like he was a celeb... I noticed Gen was burning with rage in her. Dan said hi... I said hi.... He said sorry for not welcoming you earlier... I said no problem. I really wanted the conversation to end but it didn't. Suddenly he started helping me pack up.... I said there was no need... He said he just wanted to show he's sorry....After he was done packing... He said can't wait to see you tomorrow... I was short of words totally. As he left the class, Gen came straight to me and warned me to stop flirting with her guy....like.... who walked up to who.....don't really understand what she's saying so I ignored her and left the class. Never knowing that that action really made her more angry.

Micheal was outside waiting for us to leave for home. Micheal was also a guy all girls wanted- tall,nice physique and all but not as compared to Dan who was more handsome. I told him about everything that happened in my class and he told me to stay away from Dan to prevent troubles. As we were walking home,Micheal seemed to be quiet,very strange of him. So I had to ask him if anything was wrong. He looked at me and said with time you will know.....God!!.... Is he really trying to play horror with me. I don't really understand boys! My house was before Micheal's so I always got home first. As I was about to climb the stairs, Micheal dragged me back.......

Micheal's POV~

Am Micheal Jeremiah. The first day I set my eyes on Anna, I felt a rush of ecstasy in me. One I've never felt in my life. Actually she's not the first I've had feelings for. Am this kind of guy whom seems cool and all. But I've also got my own weakness. Telling a girl I like her is my weakness. At first, Anna and I never got along but thanks to my mum who was friends with her Anna's mum and convinced her to transfer to Magis. So, I was the only one who Anna could look up to. That made me her hero..... Hahaha... What am I thinking? Anna and I became closer and I fell for her more but I still couldn't express my feelings.... Who knows maybe one day.

There was a day Anna came to my house, That day I wanted to tell her everything about Magis...so....we went to the courtyard behind my house to sit. As we were talking I kept staring at her. I knew somehow she noticed but I discovered Anna knows nothing about falling in love, I mean she didn't understand the stare. That day I had the opportunity to express my feelings but I still couldn't.... Am such a dickhead!!!.....

On Monday, the first day Anna will be attending Magis with me, I got up early had my bath and tried to look my very best maybe she could get attracted or something. I got out to wait for her. Anna came out running towards me. Her hair swinging and a cute smile on her face....She looked so cute on her uniform. Morning Micheal.....Anna, morning. That was all I could say because I was lost in thoughts.

At school, Something really happened that got on my nerves....Dan had liked Anna..... I heard it from some set of girls in science class which happened to be Anna's and even Dan's. All classes that day were just like a something else to me because I wasn't listening..... Why?

......Dan was a type of guy that if he liked a girl he ll go to her immediately. He has no time to waste unlike me the shy and foolish type. By closing I was waiting in front of Anna's class when I saw when Dan walked up to her. I got really jealous big time but what could I do.. nothing.. I just watched. He helped her to pack and I saw him saying some things to her. But I also missed one thing,Gen walking up to her because I already turned to look away.

Anna came to meet me and we walked up home. She told me everything that happened, I just said be careful of Dan and I didn't say anything again... She asked me Dan what's wrong and I said with time you would know. I knew she would think about that all night. That way maybe she won't think about Dan...Very foolish of me... We got to Anna's house first. Then something popped up in my mind maybe I should just tell her now before it gets too late. As Anna walked up the stairs. I dragged her back. I saw the shock in her eyes but unfortunately I couldn't still say it.... Seems I needed prescription for this. So I decided to come up with something. I told her one of the most foolish things even a ten year old wouldn't have said. I said,"I like your school bag"....I looked so really dumb.

She said oh, thanks and went in. I walked home kicking bottles on the ground and regretting. Dan mustn't get the chance. I had to act fast!!!
