But the night that was supposed to be joyful because we're celebrating our school's victory, turned into a nightmare when unexpected thing happened.

There's a lot of delicious food prepared in the table. I don't usually eat a lot, but since this is a special night, I would do it. I tasted all of the dishes prepared. I was very happy because this is the first time that i've been nice to my classmates and schoolmates. I never treated them this better since I started studying in this school. I feel very nice and proud because of what I did today....

"Eunice, aren't you going to eat that?"

I almost forgot this dish, that was how delicious the food I tasted is. I took a bite, and another bite, and another bite, until I finished it all. They were very happy to see me enjoying the food. I was very happy as well to see their smiles. But that happiness immediately fade away when I felt something wrong.

My stomach is in pain. It feels like someone is squeezing my organs out, forcing me to vomit. It was the worst pain I have ever experienced in my whole life. I can't stop vomiting and I feel like I'll vomit my organs as well next. It's unbearable, I'm taking out everything on my stomach.

I saw myself puking blood. Maybe it's because of the intense vomiting that I started vomiting blood. I feel like I'm gonna die. I feel like I'm not gonna survive. My body is getting weaker and I can't keep vomiting.

"Let's help her! Give her water!"

I thrown up a lot of blood. I drank the water but then I also throw it out. I'm hopeless.

I can feel my throat getting really dry. I can't stop myself from coughing so hard. My throat is closing up, I can't breath.

"I can't breath!"

"Maybe that's karma..."

I saw the look in their faces. It's not pity, it's happiness. The happiness in their faces were very obvious. I can see that they are not willing to help. I can't blame them, I did many terrible things to them. But I didn't expect them to do this. They are really eager to end my life and make me disappear from this world. They didn't even give me a chance to change and do things right. I helped a lot of them to enter this school and this is how they repay me? I regretted my life decisions, I regretted how I treated others so bad.

Hearing those words made me feel like there's a sword pierced into my heart. Am I that cruel for people to wish terrible things to me? Is this the consequence of my actions? The consequence is death? I guess I'm not the only cruel one. The heavens are also cruel!

I started to run out of breath. I'm inhaling and exhaling multiple times. There's no air coming inside my lungs. I guess I really am dying. But before I closed my eyes, I saw a familiar face smiling while looking at me. A familiar face that I trusted the most.

I thought death is the end. But there was someone from the darkness who were calling for me. There's someone from the darkness who wanted to reach my hand. When I saw the hand, I don't know why but I immediately grabbed it. I found myself floating in— what is this? Underwater?

"Mina..."

I looked around because I thought I heard someone calling me. The voice sounds like my mother. Maybe this is afterlife and she's here to see me. Besides, she's the only one who calls me Mina.

"Mom?"

"Mina....help me...."

"Mom? Where are you?"

I keep on looking around but I can't see anything. There's no one here. Not even a single thing, just me.

"Mina, I'm here..."

I saw something coming out in the darkness and it is headed towards me. A long haired Chinese woman wearing a historical gown. She looks like my mother!

"Mom!"

I greeted her with a smile. But that smile faded when I see her up close. She has the same features as my mother but that is not my mom. I know my mom when I see her. I didn't even felt anything inside me when I saw her at first time.

"Who are you?"

"Help me...please..."

She looks very sad. I guess she also died on the same day as me that's why we met here. But is she the one who were calling me from the darkness before? Was it her hand that I grabbed?

Poor this woman. I guess she also suffered before dying. Unfortunately, I'm also dead so I can't help her. And even if I help her, it won't do anything since I'm going to hell anyway.

She nodded. I felt like both of us are the same. I felt bad that she had to experience all of those.
