I shut my mouth, watching Chad continue babbling with my anxiety and fear rising in my chest. Everything felt closer, and my breath was erratic. As the stranger collected a blue umbrella from an Asian waiter standing next to the maitre d's counter a red object fell from her. My eyes caught it. I stood up, I should've left it be but what kind of decent human being would I be if I couldn't repay the person that 'helped' me out of a sticky situation.
I stood up, following the path of my date crashing stranger. I picked up the object, which was a red satchel with silver intricacies. I quickly dashed out of the restaurant to follow the strange date crasher. Liquid fell from the sky and onto my face as I stepped outside. Rain was showering from the sky, onto the ground when I came out. I frowned softly, my almond-shaped green eyes looked around for the date crasher. my eyes brightened when I found the stranger walking into the streets with a blue umbrella over her head.
I ran towards the strange date crasher. She didn't hear my voice though and just kept walking towards the street.
I was breathing heavily, trying to meet up with the satchel owner, and yelling at the top of my lungs as well.
My voice ceased, finally catching up with the satchel owner that was currently standing and the sidewalk with a soft frown on her face, suddenly facing me.
