Lumbini (BIRTHPLACE OF LORD BUDDHA)(just small knowledge)

Lumbini is a Buddhist pilgrimage site in Rupandehi district of Lumbini province in Nepal. It is the place where according to Buddhist tradition ,Queen Maya Devi give birth to Siddhartha Gautama around 563 BCE. Gautama who achieve enlightenment sometime around 528 BC become the Buddha and found Buddhism .Lumbini is one of many magnet of pilgrimage that sprang up in places pivotal to the life of Buddha.

Lumbini has a number of old temples, including the Maya Devi temple ,and various new temples, founded by Buddhist organisations from various countries, have been completed or are still under construction. many monuments ,monasteries and museum, and the Lumbini international research institute are also within the holy site. also there is the Puskarini, or holy pond, where the Buddha's mother took the right ritual dip prior to his birth and where he had his first bath. at other side near Lumbini ,earlier buddhas where according to the tradition ,born then ultimate enlightenment and finally relinquished their earthly form.

Lumbini was made a old Heritage site by UNESCO in 1997.

Mount Everest is the earth highest mountain above sea level located in the Mahalangur himal sub range of Himalayas . The China- Nepal border run across its summit point .Its evaluation of 8848.86 m was most recently established in 2020 by Chinese and Nepali authorities.

Mount Everest attracts many climbers, including highly experienced mountaineers. There are two main climbing routes, one approaching the summit from the southeast in Nepal (known as the "standard route") and the other from the north in Tibet.

To climb Mt.Everest is the challenging as it is the highest peak in the world .. Despite of lots of difficulties people even try to go there ..not only for climbing but also to see the beautiful scenery over there and to try Nepali culture and to taste the Nepali foods ..oh .one more thing you can also see mt.everest through helicopter ..(if you don't want to climb)...
