The last thing I remember before standing in this dark — empty place, was the lights of the truck that murdered me.

"Hello? Is anyone there?" I called out to the darkness, hoping to get some kind of response.

A floating screen then appeared in front of me, startling me a little bit.

"What am I supposed to pick? There's nothing he—" I didn't even get to finish my question when suddenly, a wall of floating screens appeared in front of me.

Surprised by how many different skills there were, all I could do was watch in amazement.

I've read stories like this before, where the main character dies, and gets a powerful skill to save humanity, so I didn't even question anything and just started to browse my options.
