It was early in the morning, the sun rays were gently falling on Scarlett's face..as if she was being kissed by it ... but she did not like it ..come on who would like to be disturbed when they are having a pretty good nap...adding to that scarlet was a night person .... soon enough scarlet turned her head so that the sun rays would not disturb her peaceful nap ... but her peace did not last long ....she heard a voice..no not a voice it was someone yelling from the downstairs..

"wake up scar ! .... the breakfast is ready ..how much longer are you planning to sleep ..." ...scarlet frowns in her sleep ...after few minutes she unwillingly woke up...she did not wanted the person to yell at her again...she freshens up as goes downstairs to find someone setting the table up .... "good morning Leo " she said with a bright smile .. Leo smacked her head lightly " eat up fast and get moving ... I don't wanna be late because of you again " .... "fine ..fine I'll be quick mom " said scarlet sarcastically stuffing the pancakes in her mouth she grabbed her bag and chased after leo who seem to be already at the gate...

East woods college.... it was a pretty good college with a pretty good number of elite students... one of the famous ones in the district... it was where scarlet studied... she was a second year student ... one of the elite student and student council member of her college ...

It was a normal day ....Leo and scarlet returned back home ... scarlet lived with leo ... leo was a bit naive, silly and a very good friend, sometimes mature and responsible..he takes care of scarlet as if she was his own blood sister ... his family lived far so he rented a house, scarlet was his roommate that's how they met and became close .. scarlet had a hyper personality and always had a smile on her pretty face ... sometimes she was clumsy.. sometimes steady....but no matter what no one saw her face without a smile....

it was soon night...they had dinner and went back to their respective rooms ... "good night Leo " said scarlet with a bright before walking in and locking door ...

as soon as she locked the door her bright smile disappeared... leaving no traces of smile ... it was as if it had been years since she last smiled... her face was emotionless ..eyes lifeless ... she went and stood before the mirror she stared at it...

Scarlet Lucine ..... she was a mystery .... she was somewhat perfect ... an elite student..member of the student council ... she was good at piano too ..a person with good scores and good looks. .. every one looked up to her ... even her teachers had a pretty high expectations of her.... she always had a beautiful bright smile on her face ...always looking happy ..too good to be true.......

but ..... was it real ... was it really what she wanted ..did she really care about all these things.... was she really happy ....or was she faking it...if she was ..why ? ... why does she smile so bright... why does she look soo perfect ... why does she look soo happy when she was pretty emotionless deep within.. why does she look soo happy when every night she cried herself to sleep... what was it which turned her into something like this... what was she going through ...what was she hiding from the outer world behind that bright smile of hers

It was another normal day ......yeah like always ....Scarlet and Leo did their daily routines and went to their college.... The classes were going on normally.... The normality in the scenario did not last long ....

The pretty infamous East Wood College was surrounded... and the people who surrounded them were not normal..... They were men in black ..all with a very professionally trained looks ..... among all the cars which had come ...one looked very expensive...

A young man with about the age of twenty walked out...he looked charming .. dressed like a young master ... his silk backed blonde hair just added more charm to it ...

scarlet noticed this man .... she knew exactly what she was dealing with with only one glance.... she waited....the college hours came to an end ...she waited for every one to leave ...all the students left ...only the staff and the principal seemed to be held back ...obviously by that charming young man

it was dark soon ...she went to the principles office even though knowing it was troublesome...the staff were tied up in the ground..... the principal had a gun pointing his head....the blonde man was just sitting in the principal's seat ..like a boss ..drinking tea sip by sip ...

"well well well ...when are you going to payback old man" he said sending shivers down the spine to all around him. ... the principal just trembled without saying a word "tick tock ...the time is running... you made the deal ..you should not break it ...unfortunately you did " he said giving an angelic smile...but the bloodlust behind that smile was too obvious ...

scarlet did not waste time ...she entered the office with a bang ..... all the people were in shocked ...scarlet was a pretty girl ..with long black hair which reflected night like darkness... with a pretty not too pale complexion... she had light brown eyes and always had a cute big wide smile on her face ...

but the scarlet infront of them now seemed like a different person .... looking at scarlet the blonde guy instantly recognised her .... he smiled widely to her ..... as if he had met a long lost friend....

"scarlet lucine....what a surprise... I never thought I would meet you in such a place .... do you study here dear .... " said the man.... scarlet was annoyed for a unknowing reason "cut the crap ...what are you doing here ...how do you know me "

"awww .... I'm hurt ... it's not good to forget people scarlet or should I call you young mistress " the people gasped as they heard him address scarlet like that ... they were confused... is the young innocent looking girl associated with these monster like men ? who were these men anyway? who was she ? ....all these questions clearly was seen in their faces .... but amidst all the principal seemed to know something more ..

The man continued " anyway ...let me introduce myself....myself Carter Alphues ...the heir to of the Alphues ....and a good friend of your dear brother " he said

scarlett's eyes widened "you know my brother... then are you here to find me ... and take me back ...."
