The Alien Warrior
Kaelmane
The wind is blowing. Clanking sound comes as an armoured lady runs past the trees, a sword handle was tucked to her belt. She was holding the hand of an old man as they were running to save their lives. They were leaving a red trail behind them. The old man looks at the lady with concern.
Artello
[Panting] Your Highness.....You are bleeding....! We need to heal you!
She hears him but doesn't stop. They didn't have the time to stop. She could hear the sound of horses and demons which were after them. Behind them,, the whole kingdom was burning down and her people were being taken hostage. With her father and brother dead and her badly wounded, there was no one to save them.
Lloriana
[Panting] We need to keep running, Artello! You just hold onto the stone! That stone is our last hope!
Artello
[Panting] But your highness.....I can't run anymore.....! These old legs can only carry me so far....!
She looks back at him. It was true. She was half dragging him along. She stops to let him catch his breath.
Artello
[Panting] Let me heal you, your highness.....Then you would no longer have to carry me along.....
Lloriana
[Shakes Head] I can't just leave you behind....You have been serving the royal family for years.....Your forefathers to have served us as royal takuman (healers)....
He lowers his heas, panting. His legs were trembling. He had grown too old to carry on. He looks up at her and shows her the stone.
Artello
[Panting] Your highness, you must take this.
She looks down at the crystal which stored a lot of energy. It could be used to enhanced the power. Only if she wasn't so weak right noe to channel the power into her body.
She slowly reaches out to take it when a black spike pierces her shoulder. She groans in pain and staggers back. He gasps. Soon the demons were surrounding them He looks at them helplessly as being a Takuman (Healer), he had taken a holy oath to not hurt any living creature.
She hisses in pain as she pulls the spike out. She grabs the handle tucked in her belt and pulls it out. It turns into a big sword. She statts fighting them off but there were just too many of them. Few of them grabs Artello.
She grunts and keeps fighting but their claws slashes at her face and hands. She cries out in pain and the sword falls out of her hand. As soon as it falls out, her armour disappears. They take full advantage of it and start gushing her back, arms and legs. By the time she gets her sword back, she was bleeding profusely.
They grab her by her arms and make her kneel down. Two demonic horses slowly come. She looks at the big red demon and growls weakly.
Lloriana
[Growling] Kryxos.....!
Kryxos
[In Gravelly Voice] Princess Lloriana!
Another black demon gets off the demonic horse and comes forth.
Styroxdox
[Smiling] Perfect.....This is how it should be.....
He says in dark deep voice. He looks at her as he talks to her.
Styroxdox
[Smiling] You should be kneeling to the new ruler of Kaelmane!
He says and bows to Kryxos. Kryxos smiles before gesturing with his hand. Styroxdox bows more and draws his sword, bringing it to her neck, ready to slice it off. Artello gasps and tightens his grip on the stone.
Artello
[Chanting] Làpusï!!
Styroxdox pulls his hand back and swings fast but before the sword could slice her neck, a portal opens beneath her, swallowing her and closing immediately.
Styroxdox's eyes widen. Kryxos roars in anger. He quickly draws his sword and slices the old man's head. His dead body falls on the ground.
Kryxos
[Snarls] FIND HER!! SEARCH THE WHOLE PLANET!!
The demons quickly run away ti do as commanded. Styroxdox looks at the dead body and crouches to inspect it. He lightly growls and looks at Kryxos.
Styroxdox
[In Submitting Voice] Master....look....
He says and gestures to the old Takuman's hand. Orange dust comes out. Kryxos stares at it for some time before turning back to his horse and mounts it.
Styroxdox
[Quickly] Master....?
Kryxos
[In Gravelly Voice] If that is whst I think it is....then she is no longer on Kaelmane....nor will she be able to come back.
He says and whips his demonic horse who is return let out a loud shriek and starts running away.

In a forest, a portal opens and the princess falls out on the ground, groaning in pain. She weakly looks up from the ground. She wasn't alone.
She looks at it before her vision darkens and she collapses on the ground, unconscious. The wolf comes closer and sniffs her. It then looks around before slowly sitting down beside her.

Jenna
[Calling Out] Lucas....! Wake up....! You're gonna be late for school....!
I lightly turn on my bed, waking up as I hear aunt Jenna calling out to me. I rub my eyes as I sit up and stretch. I slowly get up from the bed and look out of the window. I could see the forest right across the road. I turn to the bookshelf and slowly walk over. There was a small box lying there.
I pick it up and run my fingers across the material that I touch every morning before opening it. A beautiful ring with orange stone was in there.
I touch the stone on it. This ring belonged to my father.....
Jenna
[Calling Out] Lucas? Are you awake?
Lucas
[Answering] Yeah, aunt Jenna! I'm awake....
Lucas Morgontore
Jenna
[Calling Out] Lucas.....! Get down here.....!
I walk out of my room after quickly getting ready for school. I jog down the stairs and find Jenna cooking breakfast. She looks at me as I come down.
Jenna
[Smiling] You're here....Hurry up and eat breakfast. I'm making eggs and toasts are ready on the table.
She's my aunt, Jenna. She is my mother's younger sister......She's only 26 years old. Ever since my parents died, she has been my legal guardian.
I walk over to the table and quickly pick up a toast, stuffing it in my mouth. She slaps my hand.
Jenna
[Smiling] Slow down, would you? Do you want to be choked?
I smile and properly chew before swallowing. She walks over and smiles.
Jenna
[Smiling] So....guess who's turning 18 tomorrow....?
I look at her and smile back. Tomorrow is my birthday and all my friends would be over. She sits on a chair and lets out a deep breath.
Jenna
[Smiling] Awww...look at you...All grown up....
Jenna
[Smiling] Not that little baby anymore.....
She pretends to wipe her tears and I roll my eyes.
Lucas
Aunt Jenna....Always dramatic.
I comment before turning to leave.
Jenna
[Quickly] Hey hey wait!
I turn to her. She chews and swallows the egg before saying.
Jenna
Make sure to clean the garage today. You might have fun there with your friends.
Lucas
[Sighs] Aunt Jenna....we talked about this...
Jenna
I know...but it's been 7 years now, Lucas. We might not have a car but that doesn't mean we are Never going to use that garage.
I groan a little before turning to leave.
Lucas
[Groaning] I'll think about it....
Jenna
Oh no you don't! You better clean it today!
She says getting up to show her authority. I look at her before rolling my eyes and turning.
Jenna
[In Raised Voice] Lucas Morgontore!
Come back here!
Damn....Wherever she says my full name, it means she's not going to back down until I accept her task. I slump my shoulders and walk back to her.
Jenna
[Authoritative Voice] Listen to me young man, you are cleaning the garage today! You hear me?
Lucas
[Sighs] Ok....I'll clean it....
She smiles big and I shake my head before grabbing my bag and heading to the door.
Lucas
[Calling Out] And aunt Jenna, please, don't use my full name in front of my friends.
I hear her laughing inside and I walk out. Morgontore....I know it's a pretty weird name....Well, my dad was very proud of it. He always said that it was a great name and my mom accepted it just to make him happy.....
I walk pass the garage and look at it. It has been locked for years.....Ever since my dad died......
As I walk ahead, I notice something in the woods and stop to look at it.
A wolf has come closer to the road but luckily far away from me.
Lucas
(It isn't looking at me but....why is it so close to the road....? Never saw one coming out and showing itself....)
I keep looking as it slowly goes back into the wood. I don't stay any longer and leave.
I see the fair girl with blonde hairs standing in the ground with her arms crossed. I smile and walk over to her.
Lucas
[Smiling] Hey Grace...What's going on....?
Grace
[Smiling] Oh Lucas, you're here! Perfect! Now you can drag h--
Before she could finish, another girl comes over and joins us.
Brooke
[Smiling] Hey guys! I'm here. So what did I miss?
Grace
[Shrugs] Not much. Mike is being beaten by the cheerleader.
I blink at this and shake my head.
Lucas
Goodness...Is he ever going to learn?
Grace
[Smiling] Yup, that's why I'm telling you. You can now drag him to the hospital after this.
We three start laughing. Mike is never gonna learn.
Grace
Hey Brooke, where's Lexi?
Brooke
Oh you know....It's Thursday. She's always late by about 15 minutes on every Thursday......
She says and shakes her head. I blink at her and so does Grace. Then we look at each other.
Grace
Ummm....no, I didn't know....You seem to know more about her.
Brooke instantly turns red. Grace pokes her red cheeks and Brooke quickly hides her face in hands. It was obvious that she liked Lexi but was never confessed it.
Lucas
[Clears Throat] How about....we go and save Mike...?
Brooke quickly nods, still not removing her hands from her face. Grace laughs and grabs her arm, pulling her along.
As we go to the basketball court, we find the cheerleader kicking a boy lying on the ground. I quickly rush in, seeing how serious the thing was.
Lucas
[Quickly] Woah woah....! Relax Relax....
I help the poor swollen face guy onto his feet.
Brooke
Well, you did good. You taught him a lesson but I think this would be enough for one day...
Brooke quickly comes in between us and Cheerleader.
Cheerleader
Well, hopefully it is! Next time he better not come near me!
Lucas
Yeah, I'm sure he received the message....
I say before dragging Mike away with me. I could hear Brooke reasoning with her. Brooke has always had a way of talking. She could convince anyone.....
Grace and I help Mike to a seat.
Grace
[Concerned Voice] You okay....?
Mike
[Smiling] Better than ever, love.....Her hands were so soft.....
Grace quickly hits him on the head. He covers his head. I chuckle.
Lucas
[Chuckles] And what about her shoes? Were they too soft?
Grace grabs his ear and twists it. Oww.....That hurts. I know because she has done it to me too many times.
Mike
[In Pain] Ow Ow Owww, Grace!
Grace
[Annoyed] When are you gonna Stop flirting with every girl you see? Lucas, Brooke and I won't always be there to save your skin!
Brooke joins us and I give her a smile, appreciating how she handled the Cheerleader.
Lexi
[Smiling] Mike has his eye swollen and Grace is tearing his ear off.....So nothing new happened in my absence, right....?
Brooke beams with a smile at the voice and turns to see Lexi. I laugh at her comment.
Lucas
[laughing] Yeah, nothing new.
Brooke quickly turns to her.
Brooke
[Smiling] Morning, Lexi.....
I could see how her cheeks lightly turned red. Both Grace and I knew how much she liked Lexi. Lexi nods and turns away. She always gives Brooke a cold shoulder. Grace and I look at each other.....We felt bad for Brooke but we can't really do anything about this matter....
Lexi
Ok guys, I'm heading to the class. Grace? You coming....?
Mike
[In Pain] Yeah Lexi....Take her away....
Grace lets go off of him and waves us bye.
Grace
Brooke? You coming? You too have the same class, right....?
Brooke
[In Low Voice] Yeah.....I do.....
I could tell she was disappointed that Lexi didn't call her to come along. She follows them quietly.
Lexi hadn't always been like this.....I remember her and Brooke being great friends. They were always spending time with each other. We don't know what changed that.....
Mike
[Rubbing Ear] What's with Brooke....?
I look at him with narrowed eyes. I grab the back of his neck.
Mike
Hey Hey! What are you doing?!
Lucas
Taking you to your class so that you don't get your other eye swollen as well!
Lucas
It's been a long day......Got so much homework.....
I kick a pebble as I walk back to home. I don't have a car......We had one years back....but dad sold it.....I don't blame him....There were just so many memories of mom with that car...He just couldn't bear to see it everyday.
As my home comes in the view, I stop.
Lucas
[Groans] You Got to be Kidding me!
Lucas
[Irritated] Aunt Jenna opened the Garage?
I rub my face as I could see it's gate open from some distance. Our house was quite isolated. Dad liked it this way, surrounded by the forest. Other than pest problem, it's fine.....But This is Not! Why did she open it?
I was about to head to it when I stop quickly, and clutch onto my bag. It's the wolf.....
It comes out of the garage carefully with......wait a minute....That's my blanket in its mouth!!
It's my old blanket that must have been in the garage all these years...but now I can't ever get it back....
I look at the wolf as it quickly runs back into the woods with my blanket. I stand there blinking.
Lucas
What the hell just happen?
The Weird Wolf
I stay there, trying to wrap my brain around what just happened.
Lucas
(A Wolf just stole my old blanket from the garage....)
I carefully go over to the garage, checking if there are more hiding inside. Luckily there were no more wolves inside.....but all the stuff lying here.....
Lucas
(They all belonged to my dad.......)
I feel unease as I look around. It is like everything is haunting me.....I step back, my heartbeat getting faster. I pant as I clutch my hand near my chest, feeling like being choked. I quickly run out of the garage and into the house. I slam the door after me, resting against it, panting.
Aunt Jenna must have heard me slamming the door shut because she comes running.
Jenna
[Concerned] Lucas...?! What happened to you?
I look up at her, panting.
Lucas
[Panting] You opened the garage.....
I see her eyes lower down before looking again at me. I step away from door, anger boiling in me.
Lucas
[Angry] You Opened the Garage without my permission!!
Jenna
[Defending] You were going to clean it today!
Lucas
[Snaps] I needed more Time!!
She flinches back and I realize what I am doing. I slowly lower my head.
Lucas
[Regretting] I....I'm sorry....I didn't mean to....
She comes over to me and grabs my arms.
Jenna
[In Soft Voice] It's okay.....I understand....I went a bit too far....
Jenna
[In Low Voice] But Lucas....you Have to face it one day......You can't keep things locked away forever.....You need to face them to really be able to move on....
I let out a deep breath. I know she's saying the truth....I need to move on and for that I need to stop running.....but I just can't.....
She smiles softly and ruffles my hairs just like my mom used to.
Jenna
[Smiling] I have an idea....
I walk into the garage. Aunt Jenna....sometimes she behaves just like my mom....but her ideas....
I shake my head, not understanding why am I following up with her idea but here I am anyway, in the garage with my favourite chips in a packet.
Usually when Mike comes over for movie nights, he plays horror movies which I don't like. So I sit with a bag of chips, eating, keeping in mind that it's just a movie and I'm the one who's supposed to be entertained by it.
And now aunt Jenna wants me to pretend like it's a movie playing here....and I'm just here for entertainment. Aunt Jenna and her weird ideas.
I roll my eyes as I enter the garage, looking around at the things. I keep shoving chips in my mouth, trying to fool my brain.
Lucas
How can I....? I know all these things belonged to them....my dad and mom....
I pick up a small water boat with which dad and I used to play.
Lucas
Heh...I remember how fast it used to go....
I pick up some photos lying on the table. They are of me, mom and dad....a happy family....
Lucas
Mom was so strong and healthy......Who knew--
I then look down at the beanbag. A faint smile comes to my face. I sit down beside it. There is a pillow on it.
Lucas
[Chuckles] I had made this my bed....I used to fall asleep on it.....and dad would carry me to my room later.....
Lucas
The wolf must have gotten my blanket from here....
I look around. There are so many memories here......
Lucas
[Sighs] But I have to move on.....because no matter how much I say I have....it won't count as long as the garage and study room are locked....
Dad's study room....Dad didn't used to let me in....He always stopped me.....
Lucas
He used to say that when I grow up, he would show it all to me....
I close my eyes and slide down the wall behind me to the ground. I reach into the packet and get a chip, putting it into my mouth.
Lucas
[Chewing] I don't care. I don't care. I don't care
I chew and put another one in and another. I get another chip and bring it close to my lips....but I couldn't get myself to eat it. Tears were flowing down my cheeks. I put it back in the packet, resting my head back against the wall.
Lucas
I still miss you guys.....
I stay like that for some time as tears slowly stop. I sigh and open my eyes only to see the wolf standing in front of me.
My eyes widen and my blood freezes. It notices that my eyes are now open and snatches the packet from my hand. I let out a scream and pull my hand back, scared. It quickly runs out of the garage with the packet.
I keep looking at the gate, panting, my hands trembling. I gulp and get up from the ground, rushing to the gate and pulling it down.
Lucas
[Terrified] What's wrong with that wolf?!
I try to slow down my heartbeat. This wolf almost gave me a heart attack. I peek out through a window to see if it was still out there.
Lucas
[Panting] It went back to the woods.....
I carefully open the gate and come out of the garage before closing it again and locking it up. I go straight into the house. Aunt Jenna comes out of the kitchen and looks at me.
Jenna
[Carefully] So.....? How was it....? Is the Garage clean now....?
Lucas
[Shakes Head] ......I didn't clean it....
I look at her, still lightly shaken up. She walks over to me with a smile and caresses my cheek.
Jenna
[In Soft Voice] It's okay.....I'll clean it later....You did great.....
I smile and nod. She sends me to my room. I go upstairs and lock the door after me. I was still lightly shaken up. I look out of the window as if I would see the wolf and there it was!
Lucas
[Surprised] What? It's sniffing the garage gate!!
I look at it as it slowly walks away, following the road. I couldn't understand.
Lucas
[Confused] Why does it keep going inside the garage...? First it took my blanket and now my packet of chips.....
I wait for it to come back for some time but it doesn't. I shake my head and take out a book out of the shelf and sit on the bed, reading. I keep glancing outside the window occasionally.
After about an hour or so, I see the wolf return and I quickly get up to see it properly.
Lucas
[In Disbelief] What the.....?
The wolf had about 3 packets of chips and cheese puffs in its mouth as it goes back into the woods.
Lucas
[Confused] Why is that wolf collecting human things?
