" Am I at the right place. " i thought. Yes i am because that's what is written in this address But this place was rather creepy. It had a huge yard. In the centre of it stood a tall building. I could see four cages at the side of the building. The strong smell of blood entered into my nose. But it was rather silent. I could hear the sound of wind at my ears. I really didn't want to go to this place but i had to because he was the one who told me that he had captured my friends.

Without thinking any further i entered the building. It was rather clean inside. I heard footsteps coming from the stairs. My heart was beating really fast. A man came down from the and stood in front of me. He was pretty handsome. He had long grey hair which covered his one eye and a evil look on his other eye. He smiled at me. It was more like a evil grin which sent a chill on my back. He just came in front of me and asked "You must be David" i nodded. "Follow me" he said. I just followed him to his lab. "Do you really want to see your friends" he asked. "Yes, can I ask you who you are and how do you know about my frien...". "I am Robert " he interrupted. "Ask those questions later and take a look at this" he said and opened the door. A strong smell of blood entered my nose. I followed him there. What did i see? Jim and Jane were locked up in a cage and they had almost become like the hobo who bit me on the first day of chaos. Bloodthirsty eyes, huge claws, monstrous feet. I couldn't control my emotions. I didn't even know that i was in tears seeing my best friends who had grown up with me since childhood becoming Bloodthirsty monsters.

They were not even moving. They just stayed still. I just moved out of the room wiping my tears. " Now tell me how do you know me and my friends" i asked,my voice crackled. "Hmmm i found them at a locked ware house when i was searching for supplies but at that time they had already undergone the blood contact with the mutants so i bought them to my lab for resarch" he replied. "Then how do you know about me" i asked my, voice crackled again i was just too sad. " They had their bagpacks in which i found your photo and phone number" he replied. Well that made sense. I didn't talk anything after that. But he asked "I think i know a way to cure them" he said. "Are you serious " i shouted. He nodded.

i was relieved but he said " I lack supplies" he said. "Can you bring me supplies" he asked. "Yes" i nodded without even thinking about the danger i am about to face on the way. I just had to save my friends and that was it even if it cost my life.

It all started on the next day of my birthday. The summer holidays was about to come to an end shortly. I woke up and had my breakfast and lunch together as we partied hard the previous night due to the birthday celebration. After lunch i packed my bag with some food stuff as me and my friends planned to go out and relax a bit. To talk about me I am David and i am fifteen years old i had a normal build and grey hair and knew some fighting skills. To talk about my friends, Jim and Jane are siblings. Both had yellow hair Jim was a year younger than me and was rather cute. Jane was very beautiful and had a very beautiful smile and was of the same age as me. We recently made friends with Ray i did not have a good connection with him but he had a good relationship with Jim they became friends recently,as he was friends with Jim he is often invited to our parties. He was of the same age as Jim. Jim and Jane are my neighbour's but Ray lived faraway. I went to Jim's house and we all waited for him. As soon as he arrived we went to a nearby place which was good for relaxing. It had a lake where people used to catch fish, the place was filled with trees and many people usually came there to relax. Everyone's bag was filled with food stuff. We started eating and then went to play.

As we were playing we saw a crowd gathered at a place on seeing the crowd most of the people joined. There was a strong smell of blood and i could see people fighting at a distance so i thought to stay away but my friends had already been there. A man was lying dead on the floor and five to six people were holding a hobo and beating him. It seemed strange. we asked the people about the situation and they said that the hobo attacked and killed the man.

soon the hobo was killed too. we had to admit that he was strong even when he was injured he tried to bite people. Our mood was spoiled. I thought of going back home but my friends insisted to stay. we went deeper into the forest and started to play.we finished the rest of the food that was in our bag and then started chatting we even played multiplayer games. After some time we heard some noises of people shouting and screaming we could even hear the sound of patrolling cars. We rushed out of the forest to see what was happening and what did we see....there were more hobos attacking people and most of the people were killed, people were running here and there and the hobos were chasing them. I looked at my friends all of them had shocking expressions on their faces. All we could do now was to RUN.

Soon there were monsters chasing us. Everyone was panicked. We ran as fast as we could and shook some of them off. But not for too long, soon i was exhausted, i looked at my friends they were exhausted too. Jim could not run any longer he lost his balance, Jane caught him, at that time he had steady fainted. There were lot of monsters approaching us at great speed. What could we do. we were surrounded and did not find an opening. " Are we really gonna die here " i thought. Jane was weeping. Tears rolled down from Rays eyes. I thought of fighting back till my last breath but i didn't have much energy left. I could barely stand, I closed my eyes. I heard footsteps coming fastly towards us. The sound of footsteps came closer and a strange incident happened, those monsters were standing in front of us frozen. They didn't move for a while and then they started running away. It seemed strange. But we took advantage of the situation we all rushed to an old warehouse nearby. It was silent all of a sudden. Everyone was exhausted we were in need of food and water we searched the building but didn't find anything to eat. Our hunger only intensified for the time being. We needed food and water and we had to get it at any cost. I thought of going out to collect supplies. I convinced my friends about it. We could not die here starving at least we had to try our luck. I found a rusty old pickaxe. I took it with me and went out from the back door. I was not fearless but i think it was my hunger which overpowered my fear. I closed the door and took few steps, there was no sign of the monsters, not even a single blow of wind the sun was shining brightly and the only sound i could hear was the sound of my heart beating at 2× speed. I just went to a shop there it's glass door was shattered there was blood spilled all over and a dead body of a person was lying on the floor. It must've been the body of the shopkeeper. I just went in and searched for food, i found some biscuit and chips, i even took bottles of water and juice. I made my way out of the shop and suddenly started hearing footsteps from the building at the front. The footsteps was not an ordinary one, footsteps of something hugr and big approaching, I just ran to take cover but it was too late, the beast broke through the glass of the building as i turned back it was starting at me a large bloody beast, twice the size of a normal human body with blood all over its body it had huge claws and a monstrous feet. It came running towards me it was faster and stronger than me. what could i do?
