Time heals pain but forgiveness is peace,it's an understatement it has been 6 years since I had been in London. I'm finally returning to my hometown for my cousin's wedding.

...I begged my neighbour to watch my dog and rabbit for two days while I returned to my parents house for the wedding to say I was excited. That's a lie the anxiousness took a toll on me so, I took an early flight without telling anyone so I could relax....

So I stayed at a hotel to keep it quiet, slept for 12 hours straight and felt renewed. Miss Yoko, who is my adopted mom, called to see if I had settled in. She was an angel in my life, I spent a lot of years watching Touch by an Angel and I knew who was mine.

She retired to take care of her grandkids. She had one son who passed away and a daughter who didn't want anything to do with business. So she adopted me and gave me her shares in the company because she said she was getting too old to fight with anyone and her energy was for her family. 

Peanut, which is my rabbit, is a little brown rabbit with pink eyes and Usui my dog, which I got at a charity event. Thankfully, my niece and nephew loved my animals so when their mom comes she would stay with them.

I enjoyed my four days in silence. My mom called on the night I was supposed to fly in but I had different plans to surprise them with a nice dinner. I know it was time to show them what six years of hard work was honestly.

I rented a luxury bus to fix everyone, so I waited until I knew my parents were out so I could surprise them. When I opened the first door I was nostalgic of a part of my life that stayed the same the only difference was the kitchen which I updated for mother's day because I was on a business trip in Turkey.

Called my brother and told him the plan so he could get everyone ready shortly after I heard my dad's voice from the bedroom I was hiding in. Their room  father's voice echoed through the house as he was shocked to see me. My mom quickly ran upstairs to see what had occurred.

I picked out their clothes and my brother arrived with his family and we headed to a fantastic restaurant which my parents only went to on very special occasions  . Of course I was harassed with questions about relationships and why I haven't been back home but didn't answer, instead promising answers at the restaurant. 

The smell was delightful and the looks on my nieces and nephew's face was all worth it. I haven't spent a lot of time with them so it was my time.

My mother worried about the price of the place but soon after I announced that I am the new general manager at AS private limited . My parents were overwhelmed with the news when I first left because of Alistair.

I almost didn't finish college to say I was out bondage now I own 10% of AS. I was truly blessed but the butterflies weren't a good sign. I could hear my heartbeat loud as day one blink then I saw the joker returned, it was Alistair.

Now I had to put all of that prayer to work. I smiled and finished my announcement. I wanted to give my family things they always wanted. My brother was my superhero growing up strong, fast, smart, cool and funny. He always did great in school and even bought me.

My prom dress because he told me if i passed his GPA he would buy it. A black diamond Rolex i think every good man needs a clean watch, with that smile on his face some weight was lifted off of me for all the years i was not there it made me feel like a big sister.

From the corner of my eye I saw that snake but was so happy with my family that I didn't want to change anything. My lovely sister-in-law I am very close with, I see her once every few months for a spa day. A bought a complete jewelry set of emerald things for her which is her birth stone.

I suddenly heard my name being called from Alistair's table. I took a deep breath and turned to see his mother. Life has a funny way of showing you patience. The last conversation I had with that woman left me uneasy. Took one more inhale before my father said " Don't throw stones at a jewelry shop, it's too expensive".

Those words were my reminder of who I am now I looked to see her with a proud look upon her face like a peacock her head was high in the air as if she could look down at me. "It's been ages since we last met my dear" said Alistair's mother.

Now I scanned the table to see someone was missing and another was new. Nevertheless I smiled and replied " It's been hard to get off work". She answered, "It must be my dear." I wanted her to elaborate on her answer but thankfully the food arrived. 

All of us hope you good mother in law but we can all have a good man and a respectful mother in law. In this case about a terrible bad ex and even worse a supporter mother, who allow this behaviour. A slient husband who dies have a backbone

I was invested in my meal until I saw that the bride to be my little cousin but didn't act so. I stood up waiting for her to come with her fiance.

"Finally not just seeing you on Whatsapp or on a plane to Switzerland or Fiji" she remarked to me. We continued in small talk until her mouth dropped " well even rats like good food".

I understood exactly her context, she started to poke me to sing something, it had a grand piano and no one was around. Everyone at the table started to chant and sing,sing,sing as I was about to accept my faith. When I heard " I thought this was a classic restaurant" from another woman at Alistair's table.

I winked at her and when to ask permission to play the piano they agreed I could play something. I sat at the place went silent, my eye's closed and fingers began to move. Mariah Carey's hero this song holds a lot of emotion for me but my voice wasn't shaky but I could do everything when I played. I got comfortable around the chorus and opened my eyes.

I sadly locked eyes with Alistair. I felt nauseous the way he looked at me. That expression on his face I knew he still had that savior complex like I was begging or in pain. I changed the song En Vogue My lovin his stupid face realizing what I was singing it was priceless. My cousin simply said "it's a reminder to someone", the applause was surprising but so sweet to hear.

All of that was enough for me. I was drained so I popped in my ear buds but no one likes to see me relaxed. It's a call from Kevin, my assistant, so I took the call in the restroom.

"How things are going are you stressed",said Kevin. I responded "Kevin my family is not so bad the next time on a short visit bring your wife to see London". "We have a little problem so do you think you can get on a plane?" said Kevin.

What's the issue that I need to return to now? I asked Kevin, "well it's the Martin project I made some typo but I already called and they said you should come in person to close the deal" said Kevin . So I would have to tell my family I needed to leave to close a deal that was most finalized but we messed it up I responded.

"Only for a few days but I am sure you will be back for the wedding," said Kevin. Singapore to London "can you please not tell them I screwed up, I was waiting to tell you that my wife is pregnant and I was drunk when I sent it" said Kevin. 

Can someone tell me there crazy story about someone who is pregnant or a moment you had to make someone close there mouth.
