New Student
This is a fan version of aot setting at a high school
Mainly exploring the relationship between you and Levi

You stare at the wall, and sighed gently. You are beginning your third and final year of high school at a new school
You looked over at your bedside clock
You woke up quickly, stumbling over your clothes on the floor
Picking yourself up, you go over near the window
Opening the curtains and squinting at the sun as it shone on your face
You go over to the bathroom and had a quick shower
The hot water making your skin go red
And lathering your hair furiously with shampoo
And stumble out drying yourself and changing into your new uniform-
Navy blue blazer skirt and tie
With a white shirt underneath tucked
You ran out, grabbed your bag and phone and locked the apartment door behind you
Stumbling out of the train, you run all the way to school. Luckily it’s close to the train station, so you arrive there while the bell chimes

Now gotta climb all these stairs…
Without looking ahead, you suddenly crashed into someone and fell
Grunting, you closed your eyes and winced

Oi you need to watch where you’re going…
And you opened your eyes to see a guy looking down at you
He looked tall from where you were-
His hair feathery and blowing against the warm breeze
And kept looking down at you.
Levi
And don’t come near me again. Got it.
It’s like time stopped and it was only you two.
Suddenly you blinked and frowned at him. You got up, brushed the dirt off your skirt and looked surprised.
He was short, surprisingly for a male, but you were still a good length shorter than him.

Internal: wow I’m really this short? And you…made me realise this
Y/N
Look I’m not going anywhere near you.
Y/N
So leave me. Because of you I’m late
He puffed and walked off.
You glare at his back furious
And ran to your new classroom
And see students are already in their seats
And as you look at the teacher, he frowned a little
What you noticed from him was-
He, on the other hand, was strikingly tall. And blonde too-
He smiled a little and faced the class

Students this is your new student…
He writes your name on the board
You face the class and bowed

It’s nice to meet you here

I hope we can become good friends

Y/N there is a seat for you beside Mikasa you can sit there.
And you saw a beautiful girl with short black hair giving you a small wave
You walk at the back row and near the window
With your seat next to the window and on the other side-

Hope we can be good friends
You smile politely at her
And she smiles warmly back

Internal: what a beautiful smile…
And as first period went on…
And notice the warmth on your face
And you look down and see the entrance..
And thought about the guy you bumped into

Internal: hope I don’t get to see him… although he looked beautiful for a guy…
And realising that the bell went for next period: free period
As you walk to the front while your classmates were packing their belongings

I would like for you to think about what club activities you’ll partake in

I’ll hand you the form now-

But I’ll need it by tomorrow completed, yes?
You turned back to the teacher

Club decision
You smiled at your teacher and walked out with Mikasa
Looking at your paper, there was a list of club activities-
And at the bottom the permission section
You frown at where it says ‘parent/guardian’
Mikasa noticed your expression

You’ll choose what you’ll like and I can help you
You smile brightly and she smiles back

So I don’t know what to choose…
You are both walking towards the locker area

What clubs are you in, Mikasa?

You want to join that?

I know martial arts but I’m sure it’ll be good use to kendo

I have to choose another one?

You can join me and do calligraphy?
There was a lot of options-
Calligraphy, Art, Fencing, Martial arts, Broadcasting, Journaling, Traditions, History, All sorts of sports-
But there was one that caught your eye

You turn around and see a guy running up to you too
You blushed a little and looked away

And you noticed Mikasa blushing

The library is on the other side

I’m going to catch up with Eren

Do you want me to walk you there?
Mikasa and Eren waved at you as you began to leave the locker area and walked towards the library
As you reached the area with the sign at the top marked ‘library’,
You slide the door open and entered, gasping softly
The area was large, towering shelves full of books and knowledge, ranging from various genres to biographies to education
You notice that there was not many students in
The librarian was sorting out books in the trolley
And there was very little students studying
You shrug and went in towards the librarian

Ms where are the history revolution books?
The librarian pointed at the far back shelf on the window side of the room
You begin to walk there, and as you reached that section, there was a muffle of voices
Connie
Why?? There’s no where to go Sasha
You look through the books to see the two tickling each other and giggling at a book
You squinted, trying to read the cover
And take out your glasses as you put them on, and picked up a book
As you were reading, you overhear the conversation between the two friends
Sasha
There was a new student in 3-C
Connie
I heard she was a beauty
Sasha
I heard she was short
And she tried to suppress her laughter as Connie turned red
Connie
You think she’s nice?
Sasha
What did she look like? Have you seen her?
Connie
Yeah actually I have-
And he put the book away, and grabbed on that was right in your view
And they both peered into the gap
Connie
Sorry to hear us gossiping
They looked at each other
Connie looked into your eyes
Connie
Your hair is really long…like really-
Sasha
Y/N, hope we can be friends?
A small smile appeared on your face, and they smiled back
She held her hand out, across the gap from the other side
You laugh, smiling wildly, and caught Connie staring at you
As you took Sasha’s hand and shook it-
Connie
Y/n you have such a great smile!
And you feel warm when looking at her
Connie
Y/N, nice to see you
Connie
Hope we can catch up some other time!
And they both smiled and waved
You continue browsing and reading
And turned and saw the view outside
You put the book away in the shelf
And slowly take off your glasses
And leaned on the sill of the window

I’m Jean, you must be the new student from 3-C

I’m in your class too

Encounter
Not one who is charming at first-
But there was a ruggedness of handsomeness seeping from him
He was tall, with brown undercut and ash blonde hair
His uniform blazer was unbuttoned, his shirt not tucked
He had sharp eyes and a oval structured face-
You could see his cheekbones- and noticed that his face was well built
He noticed you staring and smiled, extending his hand
You blush bright red as your heart started to beat rapidly
You take his extended hand and slowly shake it
You look down and notice his slender fingers-
He stared a little too deep into you

I was wondering if we can be friends?
Jean
You’re beautiful, and you seem kind
And you begin to smile widely at this handsome guy
Y/N
I would love for us to be friends
The librarian must have turned on the fans-
As your hair slowly moves against the internal breeze
As Jean’s hair slowly blew too
And you’re gazing at his soft eyes
And him gazing back and grinning softly-
You took a small step closer-
And just then, the bell chimed for break-
And you broke out of your trance.
Y/N
We head back together?
I put my hand in my bag and pulled out my glasses, putting them back on-
Jean was still standing in front of me
And tilted his head on the side
Y/N
Yeah…I have very poor eyesight
Jean
But you had them off when you first came into home room.
You open your eyes and they widened.
He walks towards you, closer and closer-
And he slightly bends down to your face, inching closer and closer-

What happened to being frien-
He put his hands on either side of your glasses, and gently pulling them away.
His face inches away from yours.
Your face turns red, staring into his eyes-
Mixtures of light and dark brown swirl around his eyes-
And you blinked as he smiled
Jean
I think your hiding something
You both stay there for a few seconds in silence.
You begin to open your mouth
You look down, away from his eyes
He pulls away, still holding your glasses
And begins to spin it with his hand
Jean
I think you don’t need glasses-
Jean
The lenses are a fake
You gulped and tried to not give away your shocked expression
Y/N
You got me there. You’re pretty clever for a person that looks dumb, aren’t you,?
He looks at you and smirked
Jean
I’ll hold on to this.
And leans in to you, tilting his head to one side
Jean
Don’t you think I look better in these? You look better without them, what are you hiding?
You walk past him, away from his face and further and further away from him.
As the bell chimed for the last time of the day, the hallways began to be packed with students going all sorts of places
And you don’t know where it is
Ask you open your shoe locker…
And think about Connie and Sasha…
And how odd people are at this school.
You think about Eren…and Mikasa…
And as you’re lost into your thoughts-
Mikasa
Fencing class. Shall we go?
As you walk with Mikasa, she explains the occurrence of the club
Mikasa
And they’ll face you against an opponent you’ll choose to fight against
Mikasa
You’ll be ranked on one of the groups-
Mikasa
Where you would work with them for the rest of the year
You stopped and looked at the gym.
You guys enter and there was shouts coming from the other side-
Mikasa starts walking over to the shouts, as they get louder and louder-
And you gently grab her blazer on her arm and together you walked towards where the group of students were-
Uniforms, armour, helmets and wooden swords everywhere-
Tags around the forehead of those who weren’t wearing the mesh helmet-
And as you look around, most people can’t be seen because they were fully armoured.
Mikasa
I brought our new recruit!
You slowly turn to the one coming towards you…
And he took of his helmet
Erwin
Y/N, so you chose kendo?
Mikasa
She claims to know martial arts-
Levi
That doesn’t prove anything brat-
You frown at the slight familiarity of the voice as you turn to the one coming over-
Short but taller than you-
And he took off his mesh helmet, you gasped
And frowned at him directly
He glared at you, as if to say “don’t you dare”
Y/N
Yeah, the ‘moron’ who made me late!
Levi
I didn’t make her late
Levi
Oi brat, why don’t you just be quiet?
You keep staring at Levi as you heard Eren coming towards Mikasa
Levi squinted his eyes at you
Then he frowned, his sharp thin eyebrows furrowing
Levi
Stop wasting my time brat.
And he walked off before you could reply with a comeback.
Erwin
I apologise, he’s always been like this-
Erwin
But despite his cold attitude, he really is the best kendo student here-
Erwin looks at you, Mikasa and Eren
Erwin
I see you’ve made a friend from another class?
Erwin
And what about our top student?
And he shifts gazes to the other side of the gym, where Levi was sparring with another female student
Mikasa
What do you think of him?
Y/N
What the hell do you think?
Mikasa and Eren start laughing
You looked at them, confused
And he calls for everyone in the centre, as students gathered and formed a slight circle around Erwin-Sensei
And you look around and spotted Levi on the opposite side- in front of you- of the circle
And he frowned at you and looked away
Erwin
As you students can see…
Erwin
We have a new recruit to our kendo team
Erwin
I’d like to introduce to you-
Holding the straps of your bag tightly
Y/N
I hope we can cooperate well together
And you stand straight… and looked up
And see Levi staring at you, eyes widening
You tilt your head in confusion…
