— This story is the 2nd season, or rather continuation of "Darling in the Franxx". Why you may ask? I wanted to make my readers happy ofcourse!

It has been a year since I last visited MangaToon, so as I checked my old account I noticed a ton of views, high ratings, lovely comments, and many more!

So that is why I wanted to continue the story, and many of you demanded for it haha. 😂

— Just so you know, this is my 2nd account! I'm actually the owner of the account "Weebyhikarie".

But due to a regretful situation, I lost it. It's because I deleted my Facebook account which was connected to this very account.

I really plead you all believe me 🙇‍♀️

"Prologue - Sudden"

Ugh... My head, hurts..

My mind blanked out for a second, and now I don't know where I am. All I see is a giant mass of noting but black..

It's cold, I'm hungry, and sad...

To my dismay, I don't remember what happened except for one thing..

A voice whispered into my ear, it was a pleasant one which sounds nostalgic.

'Darling~'

Shivers went down to my very spine, I didn't know if it's a sign of dire or Glee. But either is already making me vigilant.

"My head hurts.." I mumbled to myself, suddenly a luminous light shine towards my face.

With the whole mass of black dispersing, a new world opened up to my view.

'Flowers, Grass, Tree..'

Such a weird sight first hand, until I look around.

I had such a frail and skinny, tiny body. Such of a weak child to acquire, don't tell me this is somewhat a reincarnation..?

'Lalala~ Lala~' A voice suddenly spoke somewhere which got my guard up.

With the unknown coming closer, I squinted my eyes to watch it closely. And not to my expectation, it was another child.

A little girl probably around my age..

She had long bubblegum-hued hair and sapphire-like eyes.. With the tips of her eyes swallowed by a red mark..

"Hm? Oh!" She shrieked lightly as she noticed my presence, ten came running towards me.

Stopping before her tracks, I heard her talk for the first time.

"My oh my, you look so pail and thin. Are you even eating well?"

I didn't know what to reply with for the sudden pressure, so I kept quiet as I stared at her.

She hummed with a curious tone as she squated down beside me.

"Are you alone? Or perhaps lonely? Hey, do you have any buddies with you?" She's quite talkative I see...

I didn't want to leave her out of the conversation, so I just nodded to answer her queries.

Her face showed a worried expression as I answered her.

"Oh, I know!" She ran towards somewhere, I waited there as I sat below the tree. Watching the stars at nighttime.

A few minutes have passed, and she came back holding an item in her hand..

"Hey! What's your name? I'm Iota!" (ee-oh-tah, that ain't an L, it's an I)..

Name? Do I even have a name..? I thought and thought for awhile as my eyes kept spinning around till it landed on the sleeves of my jacket.

Just at the hem of the garter, an embroidery was attached. 'Hiro Tsuyuko'

With her face stunned, "Hiro, sounds like the name of a hero"
