*Knock, Knock*

Selene Zhang woke up because someone is knocking on her room's door.

I am starting another boring morning on boring life. Everyone is commanding me what to do they don't even care on my opinion. Its hard to live in this caged life. She said in her mind

"Miss, Madam said that you need to have breakfast because you have a piano lesson today" the butler said.

"Okay" she said with a sigh. Sometimes she thought of her self being a beautiful butterfly in a cage and wants freedom.

She washed her face and wore a beautiful dress because she's afraid of disappointing her parents if she doesn't do what they said.

Everyone envy me and wants to be me but they don't know how difficult my life is. She said in her mind.

"Good morning sweety"

"Good morning dad, mom"

She wished that if she had a next life she will be born in a simple and happy family not like her family now. Her parents are perfectionist.

They always want everything perfect. If you make a simple mistake, they will punish you tell you you're not working hard.

Selene didn't enjoyed her childhood life like other kids because anything is wrong for her parents.

When she's high school she's always the number one and she never been the second. Everyone think she loves her life but little did they know that she hates everything she do.

How i wish to meet someone who will save me from this despair and sadness and will be my inspiration for not giving up. She said on her mind.

"Selene get dressed we are going on a party" her mom said.

"okay mom" she said with sadness on her eyes.

She wear a beautiful gown and she partner it with a diamond necklace. When she's done dressing she head down the stairs and she saw a handsome man sitting with her parents.

"Selene it's good that you are done dressing" her dad said.

"umm, dad who is he" she said out of curiosity.

"Dear, He is Liam Gu he will be your partner for tonight" her mom said.

"Good evening miss Selene let me formally introduce myself, I am Liam Gu the heiress of the Gu family and i am your fiance"

"Dad, Mom you guys didn't mention this matter about me"

Selene was super shocked about what the guy just said to her but she didn't have the courage to disagree about this matter because she's afraid she might made her parents mad at her and disappoint them.

"Miss Zhang i'm sorry if uncle Zhang and aunty didn't discuss about this matter with you but we are already engage since young"

Selene felt sad because she can't even choose who she wants to marry.

"Well Mr. Gu lets skip talking about this matter, i think we should go because we're late for the event"

"You're right Miss. Zhang so shall we?"

"Sure!"

As she enter the door on a big mansion she saw people talking happily and laughing. As the music starts playing, all the people began to dance gracefully. While Selene Zhang is drinking wine on a corner, a man asked her to dance.

"May i invite you to dance Miss Zhang?"

"Sure" she said without hesitation.

Then they began to dance. All the people are looking at them and saying they are a perfect match and match made in heaven. Many people like Selene but there is someone who hates and jealous about her.

When they are done on dancing, Selene went out the mansion and she goes to the garden have fresh air. She sit on a bench and began to watch the stars.

"Stars are really beautiful" she said with a joyful smile on her face.

"Yes they are really beautiful but not as beautiful as you Miss"

Selene saw a tall man wearing a mask in front of her.

"Ummm, may i ask who you are mister?" she asked.

"You don't need to know Miss Selene"

"How did you know my name" she asked.

"You are really famous Miss because of your beauty"

"Well i don't think that i am really beautiful" she said to the man.

"You really are like the goddess of the moon, the name Selene match you so perfectly" the man said with a smile.

As time goes by, they talked, laughed and watch the stars together.

"Sir i really enjoyed talking to you but can you take off the mask you're wearing and tell me your name?"

"Well if that's what you want" the man said.

When the man took of the mask his wearing, she saw a man with a super handsome face. She was really shocked about the guy's face but she's really curious why he's still wore a mask if he have such a handsome face so she just asked directly.

"Well let me introduce my self miss, I am Mason Cheng the Heir of the Cheng family"

"o-ka-y, but why did you wear a mask if you have such a pretty good looking face?" she asked out curiosity.

"I don't really know either" he said the smiled happily.

Selene blushed when he showed his big joyful smile to her.

"I'm just curious, Do you always hit on every girls you know like that?" she straight forwardly asked.

"So you think i'm hitting on you?" he said then laughed.

Selene got angry so she just turned around and walked head back to the party while she left Mason Cheng confused on the garden.

What an interesting girl, i kinda like her. Mason said on his mind and cringe.

When Selene head back to the party a woman heat into her way saying_.

"Leave Mason Cheng alone! He is my fiance!!" the woman said angrily to her.

Selene was really confused of what happened she just said to herself that woman like her are not worth it of her time so she enjoyed the rest of the party eating foods.
