The sidewalk was filled with people
People who were going home from work
They didn't have much to do
Either walk home or take the bus
But still, no one could deny the fact that the sidewalk was crowded

Cookie walked and walked...
It was almost nearing night
He had to find a good place to rest
Cats don't usually sleep fully
They take a nap for a few minutes
And while taking a nap, they are still alert
Cookie wanted to find a place to settle down and take a nap
He thought he would stay there for the night until morning when a lot of people walk around

And since cats were extremely active at night, he wanted to get away from a possibly dangerous feline

So Cookie decided to find a secluded place where no cat would find him and settle down
And he came across the place very soon
It was an underground parking lot of some bigshot company
He found out that some people would linger around till dawn so he decided to stay there, avoiding humans all the while hiding from all the dangerous cats
