"Arghhhhh," I said irritably as I got out of bed because of my cousin's loud knock on the door.

I immediately looked at the clock next to my bed to see if I had time left to play codm. I pouted in disappointment to see I don't have time to play so I just stood up and started walking out.

"Hey lazy! wake up!" My cousin shouted from outside the door. "I'll go in forcibly when you don't get out of ther--," He was stunned when I suddenly opened the door.

"Here it is, here it is. You just chillax, angry? want to hurt me so badly?" I jokingly said to him. He was about to pinch me so I immediately ran to the kitchen to avoid his pinch.

I stopped running and straighten up and walked in silence when I saw Dad sitting at the end of the dining table while reading news paper. Dad's left hand was holding the newspaper while his right hand was holding his coffee.

I stopped observing him when he suddenly turned to me while one of his eyebrows was raised so I immediately removed my eyes from staring at him and start eating.

He was always serious every morning so I always imagined that he had stormy clouds above his head, when because of his stare earlier I was nervous, hmph!.

"Where is your cousin?" I stopped thinking and became even more nervous because of his questioning.

"W-What?, W-What's that again?" Woah! I could feel my heart beating fast and fast because of the nervousness.

"Are you deaf? so you don't hear what I said?" Annoyed he said once sipping coffee. "I said, where did your cousin go?"

"I think he's already in his room getting dressed," Simultaneously sip juice from the glass next to my plate.

Well, Spencer will stay here with us for a year or two because the school he moved to is close to us and we will go to the same school because neither aunt and uncle can afford the tuition fee at the school spen used to attend. so he has no choice but to go to public school.

Unfortunately, Spen had to stay away from his close friends in order to continue his education.

As I was thinking, I did not realize that he was sitting in front of me.

There's something on his face that I hate and that's his crazy smile and moving his eyebrows up and down. Obviously, he just wanted to annoy me, papa wouldn't scold him because even though he was doing some kind of stupid things, he still didn't neglect his studies.

"tsk..." I get a pandesal on the plate.

I just continued eating and so did they. It seemed like my body suddenly froze when someone grabbed both of my shoulders from behind me, that's when I looked back I could see the concern on my mother's face.

"Baby are you okay?, you seem to be thinking deeply" Mom asked worriedly. "If you have a problem in--,"

"I'm okay, mom" I immediately cut off mama's speech and just gave her a non-obvious fake smile so she wouldn't have to worry.

When I finished eating, I arranged my plate and quickly walked back to my room to get my facial cleansers and went straight to the bathroom to take a shower.

But before I could leave the room, my cousin immediately blocked the door.

"Hey you .. you know that aunt has high blood pressure and heart disease and you still making her worried!" Another exhortation mixed with deception he said.

"Hey too !, i didn't wanted to make mom worried, i just didn't realized that I'm already thinking deeply, OKAY?" I explained. "

Get out of my way, i need to take bath now" Then push him.

I had just finished taking a bath and putting on my school uniform so right now I'm doing my blower and I was about to fix my face later. When spen suddenly knocked on my door.

"Cuz' which one of this two is good to wear for school? " He asked hurriedly. "Choose one fast!, I'm still not done with my hair" He added.

So i quickly observe the two shirt that his holding. The one that his holding the right side is oversized white stripe shirt that is V-neck collar; and the other one on his left side is, i guess.. medium size? black plain shirt with classic flap pocket on the left side chest.

"Hmmm... the black?" Because I'm confused about what to choose from the two, I just based it on my favorite color.

"Okay" He said while walking with smile on his face.

When i called spen to tell him we're leaving, i stunned by looking at him. The black shirt is perfectly good in his tall tone body, heart face shaped with side parted long hair cut.

We finished getting dressed and groomed so spen and I said goodbye to mama, papa had already left because he needs to go early for work.

"Are you ready?" I open the gate.

"Not really," He scratch the back of his head.

"What the heck, this sun will melt me" Complaining he said as he walked. "Are we close to the tricycle station?" He asked irritably.

"Yes, we're close, you should have just accepted papa's offer to go with him in the car!" And rolled my eyes at him while while folding my arms. "You wouldn't have complained there" I rolled my eyes at him again.

When we got to the tricycle station we immediately boarded. We went through a small tunnel to get to school quickly.

While waiting for our turn to move through small tunnel, I thought of papa's offer to spen earlier. Dad never really asked me or offer me if it is okay for me to give me a ride for school.

"Hey Ja!, are you okay? you've been quiet" then listen to music through his earphone.

"I'm fine, how about you? are you still okay?" I worriedly asked. "We're almost near the school"

The driver dropped us off in front of the school. I looked at Spen who earlier seemed to be observing and judging the appearance of our small school in his mind. Our school is not big and there are only two strands available, unlike his previous school with 4 available strands, I just hope he likes it here, he's still a bit delicate.

I grabbed spen by the wrist and pulled him to start walking towards 7/11.

I immediately looked to my left when someone called out my name.

"Jadeee!, Jajaaa!, Jade Valerie Morales!" Sadie shouted as she ran and waved at me.

I let go of spen's grip and hugged sadie as soon as she approached me and kissed me again. We haven't seen each other for a long time, it's been three months! but those three months now feel like three years, haha I know I'm kinda OA but that's how I miss my friends.

"Ohhh Myyy Ghoshh Jade do you know?, there's a lot of hottie in NY!" She grabbed her phone to make me see the photos she took with the boys she's talking about.

She stopped speaking when she noticed spen standing behind me. It was obvious from her stare that she was interested in my cousin because of her foolish stare from head to toe.

"Who is he??" Sadie asked me with a hint of a silly smile and her eyebrows that keep moving up and down. "You didn't say you had someone with you, hihi introduce me!"

I just do facepalm and rolled my eyes at spen who's acting not knowing what was happening.

"Sadie, this is Spencer Abella or "spen" my cousin. And spen, this is Sadie Cruz my Best friend" I introduced.

Sadie immediately extended her hand to spen for a shake hands. "Hi! handsome!" Sadie replied jokingly. 

"Hi" Spen answered emphatically but did not accept sadie's hand.

I was shocked by spen's unexpected act to Sadie. And i smirked when i realized spen doesn't like girls who's calling him handsome. He's not artistic, he just doesn't want to because the woman looks like she's flirting with him when she behaves like that.

"Awtch, it hurts you just ignored my hands" Withrew her hands. "Then don't, hmph" Sadie replied annoyed.

This is the first time they saw each other, and their relationship didn't go well. Haha it looks like I'll be interested in observing them.

We just stayed outside the school while waiting for the rest of our friends.

"Gurl, aren't they near yet?" I asked as I looked around to see if they were there.

"Ohhh Gurlll!, the other already replied!" She said eagerly "Awtch, Martin replied that he can't go to school because he's sick; And arya says she will be late so we don't need to wait for her; and Sophie and Emery are almost near they're stock in traffic, in other words they are together; and as i remember Lia is already inside the building." She explained.

"Let's just wait for sophie and emery" I informed them.

She just nodded at me and walk toward the small store infront of the school to buy some snacks while waiting on those two. I look at spen, and it looks like he really wanted to go inside his room to look for vacant seat.

I turned to my right and saw Emery and Sophie getting out of the tricycle.

"Heyyy Gurlll!!" They greeted me when they got off the tricycle.

Sophie gave me a peck kiss on the chick, and emery starts looking for sophie since there's a lot of students here outside she can't see her, so i tapped at her shoulder and pointed on where sadie at.

"Gurlll sorry if we took too long, it's so traffic in pacita!" Sophie's apology

"No, It's really okay haha" I said happily. "Oh gu my cousin "spen" i mean Spencer Abella, he will study here with us" I introduced.

"Hiii!" Sophie's warm greeting. Spen just nodded at her and his eyes returned to the cellphone again.

Emery and Sadie signaled if we we're G to go inside, so sophie and i just raised a thumbs up.

Spen puts his cellphone inside his bag, so he's really ready to go. I don't know about Sadie, every time she's with Emery she doesn't feel hungry but when Emery is away and we're just a few friends with her she's always hungry.

Spen went inside first and signaled me that he will go now so i give him a nod. Me and Sophie are at the front walking toward the gate while the two girls are left behind.
