RYAN'S POV

" Hey buddy!! How's it going ? "

I stared at the person who suddenly rushed into my cabin annoyingly. He's Chester. My best friend since my college days.

" What's with your look. My cold hearted friend. " Chester

" Why did you come now? Have you completed your work with clients? " I asked Chester

" Of course it's completed I'll give it to Phin " Chester told me smiling.

" Then why did you come early? " I asked him.

" Ryan my friend I want to invite you to the Chris's engagement party behalf of him. " Chester

" I'm not going. " I told him looking at a file in my hands.

" Seriously I was really fed up with you. I have been trying to get you a girl friend but you're not interested in anything except work." Chester told me annoyingly.

" My work is more important than love for me. And you know that I don't want to be in relationship with anyone. " I told him.

" Mr Richards everything is set. " My secretary and another best friend Phineas came to my cabin and told me.

" Hello Mr Chester. " Phineas greeted my friend.

" Haven't I told call me just Chester. " Chester asked him.

" Haven't I told I won't call you casually when we're in office?. " Phineas told him.

" Why I can't change these two? " Chester said massaging his temples.

" Have you told him that not to call him Ryan or Chester in the office? " Chester asked me

" Are you nuts? Do you think I like that when he call me with my last name ? " I asked him back.

Chester just sighed.

Phineas and me are friends since our high school. He's son of my dad's old friend. Though he became my secretary I have told him not to call me with my last name. But he never listened to me.

" If you don't have anything to say I'll go. " I told Chester

" Then what about today's party? " Chester

" I'm not going. " I told him and took my suit and walked to the conference room and Phineas followed me.

My name is Ryan Richards. I live with my father. Back then we're not this rich. My father is just an employee in a small company. When I was around eleven years old my mother left my father. She wants money but my father can't afford everything she wants. That woman always treated my dad very low like he can't do anything and useless. But she didn't know that he's used less not useless.

She divorced with my father and married a rich man. From then I started to hate her to the core and I have been living with him. But my father never disappointed or regretted that decision.

After my mother left us he decided not to be like a person who can't do anything. So he started a trading company. At first it became hard for him but eventually he succeeded. Later he even started an advertising agency too.

But six years back he met with an accident and injured his spinal cord. So, he can't walk and he's using a wheel chair. The reason why Chester wants me a lover because my father want me to get married, which I don't want to. The day my mother left my dad that day I decided I don't want to open my heart to anyone. I just sighed thinking about my past.

Are you okay? " Phineas asked me

" Nothing just thinking about my past. " I told him opening the conference room door.

There are some old aged persons waiting for me. They're working for my father. At first they don't have any faith in me. But they don't dare to say to my face since I was cold to everyone except for my dad and my two friends. Because of the way I work they never complained about my experience. I don't think we need experience, if we can learn and improve our performance in our work then it's okay. I believe the more we want to learn the more we can be creative.

It took nearly forty-five minutes to complete this meeting. This project helps us to increase our company around the country. Currently we have our trading business in London and by this project we're going to extend it to France.

I came to my home around eleven. Everytime I walk into my house I feel proud of my father. I still remember we used to live in a small house when my mother left. Now my dad worked hard gave me an opportunity to increase his empire. I went to his room. He's sleeping. I pulled quilt to his chest and came out of his room. I came to the dining room after taking my shower.

" Have you had your dinner? " I asked aunt Zoe. Who's working in our house and taking care of my dad.

" Yeah and I re-heated it for you. You came late today. " Aunt Zoe asked me.

" I forgot the time today. " I told her and she just sighed.

" You are working until you can't remember time and Master Richards don't like to come outside if he don't have to do anything important. I don't know what to do with you. " Aunt Zoe nagged.

Aunt Zoe have been working for us since ten years and she's the only woman I like in my life. She's more like a mother. Sometimes I feel why does my father didn't married someone like Aunt Zoe. Whatever I don't want to think about past. I just want to concentrate on my future.

As soon as I came to my room I got a call from Phineas.

" Ryan someone from ' The Real Stories ' magazine asked me for your interview. I forgot to tell you. " Phineas

" I'm not interested. " I told him

" I know. But that kid has been requesting me to ask you. " Phineas

" A kid?? " I asked him

" Yup. I think he just completed his studies. Anyway I'll tell him again that you're not interested. " He told me that and hang up.

I heard about ' The Real Stories '. It's a magazine which contains many interesting news, Stories and some interviews including business persons interviews. But I'm not a person who likes publicity and like interacting with new persons. So obviously I'll reject these things without hesitation.

I was too busy with many works including the new branch in France. Some old men were still in a doubt that I was really capable of my decision of new branch in France. I asked my dad about this. He said to follow my heart. That's enough for me. My dad wasn't against my decision. So, I don't want to listen to these old men naggings. I just leaned to my chair and closed my eyes. I feel really tired.

I opened my eyes when I heard the sound of door opening. By watching at the person my eyebrows twitched and I looked at her annoyingly.

" Hey babe! " She called me.

She's Sarah. She's a daughter of a millionaire who born with silver spoon. Her father was my dad's college mate. From what I heard this girl's father never talked to my dad when he's an employee with little income. But they become friends when my dad become a successful entrepreneur. Don't you think this is so funny?

Sarah came near me and sat crossly on my desk. I looked at her with an irritating look.

" Babe why didn't you come to Mr Chris's engagement party. I had waited for you. Do you know that? " She asked me with a husky tone.

" Have I ever told you to wait for me? " I asked her.

She leaned her head near my ear and touched my shoulder.

" You haven't but I'm the one who insisted to wait for you. Afterall I'm soon to be your girlfriend. " She told me smooching my cheek.

I pushed her and stood up from my chair and I rubbed my cheek harshly. If possible I want to remove that feeling too. I don't know why I used to get a weird feeling whenever she touch me. When she's around me I remember my mother who I hate the most.

" Babe don't be like this. I will be hurt. " She told me with a pout. How gross.

" You better leave now. " I told her showing my dissatisfaction about her behaviour.

" Don't be mean baby. " She told me walking towards me.

" Phineas " I shouted my friend's name.

Within a minute he rushed to my cabin. Seems to be he have been waiting for my call.

" you don't want to leave right. Fine, then I'll leave. " I told her grabbing my suit and walked out of my cabin.

" I thought you'll call me as soon as she came. " Phineas says to me while driving the car.

" Do you have her father's number? " I asked Phineas.

He gave me his mobile.

" I don't know you'll be prepared in advance. " I told him smirking.

" Of course I'll. You are not only my boss. You're my friend too. So, I know about you more than anyone. " Phineas told me and focused on driving.

I called to Sarah's father Mr Aaron Hamilton. Since I'm calling him with my company's mobile it's okay for me.

[" Hello! " ]

" Is it Mr Aaron Hamilton? " I asked that person.

[" Yeah, who's this? " He asked me.]

" Hi Mr Hamilton. I'm Ryan Richards. " I told him

[ " Hello, Mr Richards. I didn't expect that you'll call me." He told me. ]

" Sometimes situations makes us to do something we don't want to. " I told him.

[ " Anything wrong? " ]

" Yes, there's wrong with your daughter. She has been following me from a very long time. I told her I'm not interested. But she's still following me. If you don't want me to handle this myself you better handle it yourself. " I told him.

[ " Okay, Mr Richards. I'll talk to my daughter about this and I'm sorry on behalf of her. " He told me. ]

I just hang up the call.

" Do you think he can stop his daughter? " Phineas asked me while parking the car.

" I don't know. If he can't, then I'll. " I told him.

We both came into our house. Today Phineas haven't came in his car. So he'll wait for Chester for a while. Chester and Phineas are living together.

Yup, Chester and Phineas are lovers since we're in university. That's the reason he feel annoying whenever Phineas called him Mr Chester. I feel so funny about them. Chester also works in my company with me. But he's not someone who will stay at same place. So, Chester mostly works outside like meeting the clients and dealing with them. Though Phineas behaves like tsundere type, but still he cares about Chester more than anyone.

" Oh hai Mr Phineas. Long time no see. " Aunt Zoe said to Phineas.

" Hello Aunt Zoe. How are you doing? " Phineas smiled and asked her back.

" Yeah I'm good. By the way where's Mr Chester? " Aunt Zoe asked Phineas.

" He told me he'll be in fifteen minutes. " Phineas answered her.

" Aunt Zoe where's dad? " I asked aunt.

" He's in his study room. He haven't came down since morning. " Aunt Zoe said with a sad voice.

" Don't worry he'll eat with us today. " I told her and came to my dad's room. My father's bedroom is in ground floor and connected to his bedroom while mine was in first floor and aunt Zoe's room is beside my dad's room.

When I came to his study room I saw him looking at somewhere outside. He didn't even turned his head and I turned to where he's watching. I stood near him and looked at the window. Outside the window there's an old man walking with his granddaughter. The little girl smilies widely while talking to her grandfather.

" Dad " I called my dad.

He turned to me surprisingly.

" Why did you come early today? " He asked me.

I just smiled and sat on the arm rest of a chair holding my dad's hand.

" Why can't I come early to have dinner with my dad? " I asked him.

He smiled to me.

" What are you thinking? " I asked him.

" Nothing. Ryan why don't you get married? " My dad asked me.

" Dad haven't I told you already that I don't want to. " I told him.

" But you should have someone beside you son. You should have your own family. " Dad said.

" Dad you, aunt Zoe, Chester and Phineas. You guys are my family. I don't think other than you I will have a person as a reason for my existence. " I told him.

" But Ryan... " I stopped my dad.

" Dad I don't wanna discuss about this anymore and you are going to have dinner with us today. " I told him moving back to his wheelchair and held it.

Dad sighed. By the time we came Chester was talking to aunt Zoe while placing his hand around Phineas's neck in dining area. They all turned to us and my friends greeted my dad.

We're having dinner together after a long time. I really like this atmosphere around me. See how happy I am with them. So, why the hell I need a life partner and moreover what if I get someone like my mother.

" Ryan I wanna tell you something. " I came out of my thoughts when Phineas said.

I nodded my head.

" I want you to meet this kid. " Phineas told me.

" What do you mean by a kid? " Chester asked him.

" Listen there's a kid who came from ' The Real Stories ' magazine was really cute and the aura around that kid gives you warm feeling. " Phineas said staring at me.

" Why the hell you are talking about him this much? " Chester asked him

" Don't be jealous. I was just saying about the kid. " Phineas told him. I just smiled watching them.

" Ryan why don't you give interview for that kid? " Dad asked

" Dad you know that I'm not someone who likes to give interviews and fond of publicity." I told dad.

" Recently you have been stubborn more than before. I don't want to talk to you anymore. Zoe take me to my room. " Dad told Aunt Zoe after saying that to me.

" Don't forget to take your medicine. " I said to dad.

" Yeah, yeah I know that. " He said before going into his room.

" Your father is sulking. " Chester said.

" I know. Don't worry he'll talk to me in the morning anyway. I'm already used to his behaviour. " I told him while smiling.

" What do you think about that kid? " Phineas asked me again.

" I don't want to meet him. Whoever he's I don't care. " I told him.

" You are really being stubborn. " Phineas sighed.

" Are you staying today here? " I asked them. Sometimes they used to stay here when we have work.

" No. We're going back. We have some personal work. " Chester answered me while nuzzling into Phineas neck. Phineas just slapped his shoulder.

" If you are done just get out. " I said giving annoying expression.

" Yeah we're leaving but think about what I have said about the kid. " Phineas said before leaving with Chester.

I just smiled looking at them. They behave like a lovely couple when they're outside the company but when they're in office Phineas will have dead fish face. I would like to watch him to talk in a causal way in the office too. You know I feel awkward when he talks to me formally.

And talking about the kid he's referring to I'm not interested to meet anyone. I don't want to meet someone like my mother and make my life miserable.

The next day I didn't come to office like always instead I visited my dad's advertising agency. But who would have thought that I'll see this woman here. She is the woman who's irritating me recently the most.

" Hey babe! "

" What the hell are you doing here? " I asked Sarah.

" Have you forgotten that I'm a model? Ofcourse I'm here for a shoot. " Sarah told me.

" Who appointed her for this shoot? " I shouted and entire floor became silent.

" Excuse me sir I was the one who asked her for the shoot. She once told me she's your fiancee. " Steven the coordinator of the shoot said.

" Who the f*ck told you she's my fiancee? She's not even my friend. And you how dare you to reveal yourself as my fiancee. " I asked her.

" Of course I'm dare enough. " She said.

" Enough. Steven after this there's no need to call her again and everyone remember she's not my fiancee not even a friend. She's just a model. Now get back to your works. " I said and came outside the company.

I drove my car to my company. While I was walking through lobby I saw a boy sitting on a single sofa with hands cupping his own face. I don't know why does I felt I was relieved from all my tensions and suddenly I feel my heart was beating very speed.

Who's this kid? Why does my heart was pounding like this?

RYAN'S POV

This kid made my heart tremble. He sat on the sofa with a pout. I just smiled and walked to my cabin. As soon as I entered the cabin Phineas came to my cabin.

" Why did she came there? " Phineas asked me.

" That woman told Steve that she's my fiancee. " I said removing my suit.

"What the hell! " He exclaimed.

"Yeah that's what she said. This is her last chance. she have been crossing her limits." I said.

"By the way who's that boy in the lobby?" I asked Phineas.

" He's the kid I told you about. " He haid and I just nodded my head.

" Wait a minute why did you ask me about the kid out of the blue? " Phineas asked me.

" Wait a minute how come you are speaking casually today with me? " I asked him back.

" Seems like I should send him in. " He said with a smirk and left my cabin. What's the meaning of that smirk?

I zoomed the cctv video on my desktop. Seems to be Phineas told him and that kid smiled while nodding his head. I chuckled at that kid's behaviour. He took his phone and checked his hairstyle then walked to the elevator for my floor. He took a breathe before knocking my door and came inside. He just stood at the entrance staring at me. We two don't know since how long we're staring at each other.

" Don't you want to meet him? " Phineas came behind him and asked him.

" Oh!! I'm sorry. " That kid was shocked by Phineas appearance and smiled awkwardly to us and came and sat in front of me.

" Good morning Mr Ryan Richards. I'm Zane working as a reporter at The Real Stories magazine. " Zane told me with a smile.

" Haven't I told you that I'm not interested already? " I asked him, but he just smiled.

" That's the reason why I insisted to get an interview from you. " Zane told me.

" Why are you being stubborn ? " I asked Zane.

" Because my father told me that if I want to achieve something I should be very stubborn to achieve that. " Zane told me.

I want to smile but now I shouldn't.

" Who's your father? " Phineas asked Zane

" My mom's loving husband. " Zane told him and Phineas turned to me.

" Then who's your mother? " Phineas asked him again.

" My dad's loving wife. " Zane told him with a smile.

I just chuckled at his words. This kid is really adorable. Phineas turned to me and surprised. But I just ignored him.

" I can't give you my interview now since I have some works to do. Why don't we meet tomorrow morning in a restaurant? " I asked Zane.

" So, you're willing to give me your interview. Then I don't mind to meet you again. " Zane told me with his smile. I just nodded without giving any expression.

" Okay see you then. And thank you Mr Ryan Richards and Mr Phineas. " He smiled again and shook his hands with mine before he left.

I was just staring at him until he left my cabin and smiled. But why was I smiling like this just because of this kid.

" You're smiling continuously though he left. " Phineas interrupted my thoughts so I turned to him with my cold expression.

" You're giving me a cold look but you smiled to him. Seems like he can be your special person. " Phineas talked to me still with a tone he usually uses when we weren't in office.

" I thought you'll never talk to me casually when we're in office. " I told Phineas.

" Why do you want to change the topic saying that again? " Phineas asked me. But before I talk to him, my another friend interrupted me.

" Who's changing a topic? By the way why did hang up like that? I was scared to death that something happened to you." Chester asked Phineas. So Phineas called him to come.

" I'm sorry." Phineas told smiling.

" Why did you call me to come? " Chester asked Phineas and Phineas handed him his mobile. Chester took his mobile and turned to Phineas.

" Who's this kid? Wait " for the first picture he asked that question to Phineas but I don't know why he turned to me as soon as he swiped next picture.

" What happened?" I asked him and grabbed Phineas mobile and I saw my smiling face in that mobile. I was just surprised and touched my face in confusion. Still I can't imagine that I can smile this widely.

" You're smiling like this I have never seen. But how ? " Chester was surprised no different from me.

" Because of that kid. " Phineas told him.

" Is it really obvious? " I asked him.

" You're not even denying that. So you felt his bright aura around you. " Phineas asked me.

I was just thinking what he said. And what he said is indeed true. I felt this strange feeling around him.

" Can you just explain what happened? " Chester asked us with a growl.

Phineas just sighed and sat beside him.

" You're behaving casually? " Chester was surprised.

" Don't you want to listen what happened? " Phineas asked him in annoying tone.

" No I really want to listen tell me baby. " Chester behaved like a kid and I just rolled my eyes.

Phineas is also same as Chester. When he's not in office they like to annoy each other and they like to annoy me together. Since it's about me Phineas don't want to be formal. If he behaves like this so it means he changed to friendship mode.

" So Just for that you laughed and you told him you'll give him your interview. And most importantly you told him you'll meet him again. " Chester asked me.

" I don't know why did I told him that I'll give an interview. But I felt something that I can't tell you even I can't tell myself. He smiled a lot. He smiled when he greeted me. He smiled when he answered me. He smiled when he left. I felt like I want to see that smile very often. " I answered my friends honestly.

" You're so whipped my pal. " Chester told me.

" What do you gonna do now? " Phineas

" I want his details. Where he's living? Where he's from? What's his mobile number? " I told him

" By evening. " Phineas told me and left.

" Hey this is the first time I was watching him calling you casually. " , Chester

I just shrugged.

" Okay then I'll go and help my baby. " Chester told me and left to find Phineas.
