It was the time of summer in my village. I was excited because it was the season of mangoes. At that time I was 5 years old. Whole day I used to play with my friends. My friends were Arshad, Shamsher, and Kaleem. Although Kaleem was my cousin. I left my home in the morning and whole day I spent my time in fishing, gardening and making traps to catch birds and fishes. I was very good in that. My while life was going good. As it happens in childhood we might be not aware by the problems that are coming to us. It also happen with me. My father lives in Delhi and after six or 8 month he came to village. So I was not addicted with my father's love or I can say that I don't get love from my father. So whenever my father came to village, I only took him as a stranger not a family member. Everything was right for me at that time. And I don't forget that black day when my father came to village. He came to village and before going to city he told to my mom that Kudus (the main character) is also going with me to the city. My mom as usually allowed him to took me to the city. I was outside that day and I was enjoying with my friends. Without knowing that what is happening in at home. So at evening when I came back to home my mom was looking sad. She said to me in very low tone that Kudus you are going to city with your father. I got shocked I was speechless to say any word. I simply went to my bed and started crying. But I also knew that I can't ignore this. So waited for the morning as in the morning we had the train to city.

I didn't slept for the whole night I was thinking about my friends my games and everything that I love in my village. The next day came, my mom prepared me I wore new clothes, and I was looking cool. I packed up my things and other stuff. I knew that I am only going city for study but it was a shock for me to leave my village. whatever the case, I was pretty excited about the journey. It was going for the first time for me to be on train. Even I haven't seen the trains that time. So I was excited, I said good bye to everyone and then me and my father left the village. It was first time for me to spend time with my father. After 1 hour we reached to the Railway Station. and we waited for our train to come. The train arrived and when I saw the train I got excited it was very long very very long metal box for me. I was looking at the window. I was also going to be part of this journey. This thought give me a very good positive thought, I forgot all the anxiety, stress and my sadness. Whole journey my father told me everything about that what are those and where are we going. Then I get to know that we have our own house in the city and I am going there for my studies as now I am five years old. So it's the time for me to start studying. But I haven't even know any words or alphabet so how could I study. All the time to I thought this question. After the journey of 23 hours we reached to the city. It was morning and the time was 3'o clock so it was night. But the light of city told me everything that it's a city where days never end. For the first time in my life I saw huge buildings, lights, vehicles and almost every thing in the city I saw for the first time. From the Railway Terminal we hired a taxi driver to our home. I was pretty excited to see my new home.
