Episode 1
It's June's first day at work. She just got hired as a receptionist for StarDust Company
She's currently setting her desk when a woman approaches her
Lucy
You're the newbie right?
June
Yes, this is my first day at work. Nice to meet you
Lucy
There was an error. We actually don't need a receptionist. Sorry for the inconveinience but can you go back.
Lucy then leaves, answering her phone as she walks away. June is at a loss. She has no idea what to do next. This is the 8th job she's been fired from. She starts to pack her stuff.
Lucy
Hold up newbie. Come with me now!
June
But you just said I should go
Lucy
Whatever. I said come here now. You don't have a job anyway so I know you are not busy.
June starts to follow Lucy as she enters the elevator
Lucy
I have a family emergency right now. I'm the company manager as well as the CEO's part-time assistant. I have a meeting soon and I can't attend it. I know you have high qualifications from your job application so fill in for me today
June
But I know nothing about the meeting
Lucy
It doesn't matter. Vivian, CEO Jake's secretary will fill you in. Go to the glass office at the end of the corridor and ask for her
June follows Lucy's instructions and finds Vivian
Vivian
Who are you? What do you want?
June
I'm Lucy's substitute for today's meeting. She said for you to fill me in.
Vivian
Ugh! That's not my job. Whatever, read that folder over there. Then go to the room on your right, you are late.
June picks up the folder and skims through it whilst rushing to the meeting room. Then she bumps into something.
Micheal
The correct response when you bump into someone is ''Excuse me, I'm sorry.'' Idiot. Who allowed you onto this floor?
June just stands the speechless as she looks at the handsome and arrogant man in front of her.
Episode 2
June
If you were watching where you were going you could avoided me too, so this is both our faults. The correct response would be '' I'm sorry, are you okay?'' If you are always that rude, no one will like you. Idiot.
June hears some gasps. That's when she realises all the people seated in the meeting room were watching their encounter. June starts blushing.
June
Apologies for my lateness. I am June and I will be substituting for Miss Lucy today. Please take care of me.
June bows then slides past the arrogant man and sits on an empty chair next to the head of the table. She then looks at the person at the head of the table.
June
Sorry for keeping you waiting CEO Jake. I'll just be a substitute for today.
The man hesitates looking behind June for a bit.
Jake
Not a problem. Mr Micheal was about to look for Miss Lucy but since you are here in her place, we can continue after Mr Micheal takes his seat.
The man who bumped into June takes a seat then another lady at the table proceeds to speak.
Jake
So Miss June, how did you become Lucy's substitute?
June
Initially, I was hired as the receptionist but there was a mix up and I found out I wasn't needed. Miss Lucy then asked me to fill in for her since I wasn't busy. I ha-

How is a receptionist qualified to sit in as the company's manager or the CEO's assistant?
June
I was going to explain to the CEO before you rudely interrupted me. I have a first class degree in Business management from XV University.
Jake

Micheal
If you have such a great degree why were you hired as a receptionist?
June
Aren't you afraid of being fired by the CEO you are interrupting? Besides that is none of my business. I have completed my task so I shall go. Goodbye, it was nice meeting you CEO Jake.
Jake
Nice meeting you too Miss June.
June then turns to leave, ignoring Jake.
Jake
Wow, even if people don't know you are the true CEO they usually respect you Micheal. She's unique
Micheal
I know. Find out who she is and offer her a job.
Jake
But all the positions are filled in the company
Micheal
Not all of them...
Micheal
Give her a job as my assistant
Jake
But you don't like women. How will you tolerate her?
Micheal
I don't like women who fall for me. She's to proud for that. She'll be perfect. Besides, she's intelligent if she graduated from XV University despite applying for a job as a receptionist. Find out about that. Give me that information in 2 hours.
Micheal then leaves the room
Jake
You're abusing me, I'm technically your boss you know
Jake sighs, knowing that Micheal will continue to ignore him till he gets what he wants
Episode 3
Jake
This is all I could find on Miss June
Micheal picks up the file Jake put on his desks and starts to read it.
Micheal
Hmmm....
No great family background and no mentions of a scholarship. How did she get into XV University then?
Jake
I don't know, this is all I could find. And I looked everywhere.
Micheal
This just keeps getting interesting, the reason she was fired from each of her jobs is because of incompetence. I don't believe that. Especially considering where she studied.
Jake
I agree with you. I will look further into it and inform you. In the meantime, let me get Lucy to offer her the job
Later, after leaving the company, June arrives home and she starts to text her bestfriend.

Glad to see you remember you still have a bestfriend. How did your first day go?

Terrible, I got fired before I even started and this jerk in top management tried to embaress me infront of the CEO

Ric, you know I'd never enter the entertainment industry using your or my fathers connections. I want to do it using my own strength. Besides, wouldn't people at your company complain that the CEO is biased😝

Not at all. I actually called to offer you a job. Top management was so impressed with you, one of their members wants to hire you as their assistant.

That is great news, when do I start?
Lucy
Tomorrow. 7 am sharp. Make sure you're on time
June rushes into the StarDust company building. The receptionist directs her to the office on the left on the 27th floor. As she steps of the elevator, someone bumps into her.
June
Excuse me, you bumped into me.
June
You again?
You should really learn some manners. Didn't your parents teach you anything?

Whatever, I don't have time for this. I don't want to be late so excuse me.
June continues on to the office to wait for her boss. She sighs in relief as she is 5 mins early. She starts fixing her appearance as to make a good impression. Someone exits the office infront of her.
June
CEO Jake. What a pleasant surprise. Are you my new boss?
Jake
Hahaha, not at all. I already have an assistant, remember?
June
Hahaha, of course. Miss Lucy.
Jake
Don't worry, your boss should be here just now. In fact, there he is.
June turns to the door behind her as it opens.
Jake
I believe you know each other. June meet your boss, Director Micheal.
June stares at the rude man in front of her.
June
You have got to be kidding me!
