One busy and frosty December night❄️, .....

somewhere in the world🍃,....

I was walking on the street with my mum , l met someone who caught my attention.

^^^l thought that was infatuation..^^^

because I was a little kid back then.

But who knew that, after several years ,l realized that it was not just a simple infatuation...

lt is snowing right now, and it is December night🌜,I ,Lin Frost , came back from the party l had , because I passed the interview for the position of a vocalist 🎧🎤🎶🎼.

My best friend ,Justin White,who works in the same company I applied for, brought me back because l was drunk 🥂🍾and he went back home. I don't know what will happen in the future but I am very satisfied with my life right now.l am so sleepy and weary .....

(Yawn🥱)..Heyaaah . Good morning to myself. Uh-oh my room is in a mess😅.Let me clean it up fast......Ok done. Now let's fresh up and bath. (After bathing.) It's a perfect day for pancakes 🥞. (After eating.) Wait tomorrow is the first day of my work. Come on girl, be enthusiastic, prepare for tomorrow and leave a fabulous impression on everyone.Oh yes!l have to drink hot water from today and never catch a cold. Ummm nothing to do, it's so boring.Oh wait! l heard from Justin that a new boy applied for the position of a lyricist. Who could it be? I wonder if he is friendly or not. Ummm.... let me chat with Justin..

(Next day in the office)

"Lin you look cool with that pullover. Ok! Let's talk about this business right now. As you are new to this, let me, your supervisor,give u a tour. " said Justin friendly. "And oh! About that new lyricist , he is very talented and a bit introverted." Never mind I will try to get along with others including him.

Um .... Hello everyone 👋.I am Lin Frost and you can call me Lin.Nice to meet you all.

(Everyone looks at her )

Umm....why are you all staring at me? Do l look like a weirdo?😅

"Hello Lin 👋😀 I am Soo Ah .I am a Korean but I live here. You can also call me Soo. It's nice to meet you .Can we be friends? "

Ummm...Yeah!l would love to.

"Today Lin , The owner of this studio is gonna come for inspection and everyone is busy preparing for it. Ok . Let's talk later . Wait! Aren't you the new vocalist?"

Yeah .

"Since you are new,the inspection will go easy on you.But have you prepared the song which the supervisor told you to practice."

Oh no!He did not tell me that!😧

"Ok relax. Do u know a song 🎼 in which you are perfect?"Soo asked me.

Yes , I know a song 🎼' Snow and the sunlight'.

"Perfect!"exclaimed Soo happily.

Soo announced,"Ok buddies let's do the song ,' Snow and the sunlight'

*Everyone agreed *

*The owner arrived*

*He ordered to sing a song*

*They have to sing behind the curtain*

*After the song*

"The song is my favorite one. You sang it just good🎶! " exclaimed the owner,Mr. Joe Phillips.

*The curtain opens*

The very moment the curtain opens ,he stared at me with drowning desperation and flying happiness.

"🥺You, you, you are Lin Frost right?"he asked.

I replied with confusion,"Yes sir I am."😅

He said ,🥺"Don't call me Sir ,Lin don't you remember me, I, l am Joe ,Joe Phillips, your childhood playmate, don't you remember?We used to be so close. We went to the same school, we ,we ....... Don't you really remember me🥺?"

Even though I didn't know that man, my heart felt like it was pierced by thousands of sharp needles. My eyes were filled with tears. I was about to cry .

But l some how wiped my tears secretly and mustered up all of my courage and said ,"Sir l don't know you and how did you get to find about me. You must have mistaken me with someone else with the same name as mine. Please allow me to excuse myself."

Then I hurriedly went to the restroom and washed my face. It was weird. Why did I cry? I can't understand. Why was l feeling so hurt as if he was someone l can't remember but....

l thought that ,"No,no it can't be.I don't know him.

But l saw the loneliness, the sorrow in his eyes. Maybe he was someone from my past and maybe I can not remember him. "

Whatever, let me just fresh myself up and go home.Anyways it's an early leave today.

I met Soo Ah on my way and she asked me,"🙁Are you okay? You don't look too well."

I replied," lts nothing. I am well and good, l was just a bit dizzy."

My way to home was very short but because of what happened today it seemed that it had become somewhat more longer.

l reached home safely and I freshened up. I tried to rest my mind a little bit. l took a nap and then I tried to recall the incident. He somehow looked familiar but l don't know.

…………… Maybe , maybe ..

He was really my child hood playmate but, but... I can't remember what incidents happened when I lost my memory.

My uncle, Yeah ,he should know everything. Let me ask my uncle about him and my parents....

I went to my uncle's house but he was not there.I thought he might have been to somewhere else so l went back.

On my way home,I saw a girl ,with a body much stronger than mine,sitting on a bench,she was so lonely.l went to her.When l went nearer I felt a chilly sensation of the cold wind but she was not wearing anything warm.❄️🍃l sat beside her. Then l asked her name ,she didn't reply.She seemed to be a bit older than me.I asked her again.But this time she responded,she asked 'Why do you care?'

l replied, 'Do l need a reason to care for anyone?'

Silence befell. l needed an Icebreaker.

l asked about her family, relatives and her friends. After a minute or two, she responded,"l am alone, l don't have any one related to me."

" After my parents' death ,l live alone ,on this deserted street,finding something to eat ." She sounded sad .

"l haven't talked to a person for a very long time,so don't blame me for not being able to communicate with you properly."

Suddenly I felt that I should bring her into my home.But how should I persuade her?

l asked her to come with me to my house.

She refused.Then l asked her ,"What if you have someone else who can take care of you and cares about you?Will you refuse her if she wanted to take you home, will you refuse her with a stone - cold heart? "

She said ,"I wold try to think about that."

"But there is no time to think!! I want to take you to my house right now , let's go."I said.

She was hesitant about that. l said ,"I don't have a big sister and I want you to be my big sister."

She smiled and agreed to go home with me.While going home we had a normal conversation ,more like it is a conversation between a girl and her big sister.When we reached home, she got cleaned up and she looked so beautiful and cool ,l admired her beauty .

She made dinner for us and how tasty was that ,I asked her if she wanted to be a chef ? 😋



I hugged her tightly and finally she agreed to find the job of a chef and be a Master chef. She also said she hat that was also her dream back then....

We slept soundly and woke up with a happy smile on our faces.She said that her name was Gwendaline Brown and l said l would call her Sis Gwen and she smilingly agreed.

I went for work and in the office today l found the person who had claimed to be my childhood playmate in the studio again.I was nervous on the fact that how should l face him.
