it was around 5 in the evening when my dad came home after a long tiring day i came to greet him, he smiled and said josh i want to tell you something as you are 12, big enough to listen, i have been dating a women and we are going to marry soon i want you to take her as your new mom she also have a son after saying this he headed to his room i shouted and said dad it has not even been a year since mother passed away and you are already to have another women and you want me to call her mother well mister Robert i 'called him by his name first time in my life' i'm not ready to take any other woman to be my mother while i said this he only stood and listened what i said  and i came back to my room . even he was my father he never cared about me and mom. My mom died in a car accident and he didn't had that much money for surgery, i never blamed him for mom's death but he should have tried, even now i use to think my dad is busy working but NO all he was doing was dating another women, even he never cared about me i still loved him the most after my mother, but now i cant, i cried and cried all night in my room and slept eventually. The next day i woke up it was Sunday after taking a bath i came downstairs. Dad was not at home i didn't pay attention that he must have gone for some business trip or to hang out with his friends, i went to the kitchen and opened the fridge there were some vegetables. I thought to make some pasta so i washed and started cutting the vegetables i saw there is no sauce i thought to brow some from my neighbor's they were newly married couple and very nice to me . i wore my shoes and went to there house i asked for some sauce and they invited me, in we talked a lot about food and games it was so fun being with them all my stress from last night vanished away they gave me sauce. i came home with the jar of sauce i opened the main door and i came inside took off my shoes and saw my dad standing with a women and a boy almost of my age . Dad came to me and said josh, she is your mother now we got married in the court her name is rose i want you to greet her and your brother Roy without saying anything i kept the jar of sauce on the table and walked to my room i closed the door and stared at my mom's photo she looked so beautiful young and clever, she was a painter and my room was full of her paintings. I cried again .

next day i opend my eyes and as usual took a bath and came down stairs opend the fridge there was nothing so i decided to make pasta again without vegetables it took me 20 min to make it i placed it on the table and went to return the jar of sauce to our neighbor when i came back the pasta i made was eaten by rose and roy that women said it was tasty thanks i saw her and said it was not for you i took my school bag and went to school as fast as i could i was very hungry i didn't ate anything's since yesterday it was games period and our sir said all of us to run but i was hungry still i ran . i ran as fast as i can and only in some time i collapsed and found myself in the hospital .my teacher was beside me he gave me a apple i ate like i never had anything  then my teacher said i informed your parents but they cant be here because of some reason so i will take you to your home my teacher was very close to me he was my mother's best friend so he asked me josh is everything okay . without thinking i said everything to my teacher mister paul he gave me a warm smile and said its gonna be okay don't worry . on the way home we had some curry at a restaurant  and mister paul dropped me home there were no one at home so i directly came to my room i took a bath and came in my room rose was there she was holding my mom's painting i snatched the painting she said josh i know you don't like me and roy but you have to accept us no matter what . i said where were you guys she said 'what' i repeated she said we were at the supermarket buying some stuff for ourselfs i said leave she didn't said anything and left the room after some time dad came with a angry face and said what the hell you said to your mother i said she is not my mother and mister robert i request you to leave the room he shouted at me and i lost my mind and said though you never cared about me but i thought you are gonna care about me! i was in the hospital and you were busy shopping with you wife and now instead of asking how i am doing you are here to take your wife's side sorry mister robert i guess i don't have anything to discuss with you. your wife is not good as you think  dad left my summer break started and i started living with my neighabors hopefully my father also didn't call me but one day when i was helping my neighabors to cut vegetables and mister paul came.

mister paul came he saw me and said what are you doing here i heard you are not living with your father i looked at him and said uncle i don't want to live with rose .he grabbed my hand and took me to my house my dad was playing with roy i wished i would also play with him but no his love is not for me i stood there silently  mister paul said to my dad why don't call your own son home don't you care he is living next door my dad replied i don't care about him i have my wife and child to take care of he is just a burden for me and if care a lot just take him with you and don't disturb us anymore we already gave his room to roy and his things are in the storeroom i said to mister paul sir my mother's paintings are there i want to take them he took me there i picked the paintings and my moms belongings with me nothing else mister paul was holding my hand and i didn't felt alone he bended to my level and said it was not rose it's your dad who never cared about if you want hate , hate your dad not rose i looked into his eyes and said i don't hate him the person i hate is myself it's me who trusted him it's me who thought he is a good man but no i was wrong he gave me a tight hug and said let me be your guardian from now he took me to his house it was a huge building he showed me my new room and said for now keep your things here after having lunch we will go shopping i nodded . i took a bath and came down stairs the table was full of food all my favourite after eating we headed to the mall we got new furniture for the room new clothes for me some school stuff and many more things it took us 2 days to set my things up but it was finally done mister paul showed me room full of my mother's paintings and belongings he said she was my only family so i had to save her memories i placed the paintings i had they looked just perfect time passed and i started forgetting about my dad mister paul treated me as his own son as he was single and had no child i was finally happy schools were about to open in a week and all thanks to mister paul i did my homework before it was 4 mister paul came to me he gave me a smile and said well i got something he showed me tickets of the football match which was going to held tomorrow i jumped with joy and hugged him we both laughed and laughed i was so happy for tomorrow mister paul and i loves football it's our favourite well can say that also mister paul was in national football team and became our games teacher . i slept early .
