When he steps back into his house he receives a slap across the face, so hard that he fell down

Oh shut up you b*tch! ** kicks Alexei in his stomach twice**

** drags Alexei out of the house and throws him into the street**

** gets up and winces in pain**
From there Alexei got a job and slept on benches until he saved up enough money to move from the country and start a new life
