TWELVE YEARS AGO In high school there will always be the school's most popular playboy and the clique that followed him. But there was always the Nerdy kid who got made fun of even tho it was our last year in this zoo called a school.

My best friend was the well-known nerd that always got bullied, he'd always get hurt where ever he goes. I was thinking of telling his parents but he didn't want me to do so. I was taking care of his injuries and bruises and kinda worked as his personal therapist, it was always fun to hang out with him, we have been friends since early childhood up until now.

I was kinda falling for him and he was sending some mixed signals and back then I just thought he was into me as well but I didn't say anything about it. One day at school the girls from the clique namely Amber, Cassandra  Rose, and Marie stood at the center of the hallway while we were walking through, when we got in front of her she dragged Aaron (My best friend) and told him to come to the rooftop during lunch.

I was worried as to what the hell they would do to him up there but there was nothing I could do. Aaron is a fragile kid and like some nerds, he has bad eyesight which causes him to wear glasses. During lunch, I ate alone but Aaron was up there with those evil bitches.

When the bell rang for classes the girls came out first giggling and whispering while looking at their phones. I purposely unintentionally push Rose so I could get a look at the phone, when I did I was so shocked I was gonna throw up.

On Rose's phone has a picture of a guy who was half bald with shredded clothes and his lunch was ruined. I rush into the rooftop hoping he was there it turns out that he was at the very edge of the building attempting to jump from this 5 story-building called school.

I tried to stop him but he seemed to be mentally and emotionally broken and detached from this world, I pulled him back from the edge and told him that he doesn't have to go through all this, we could always change schools but for some reason, he wanted to stay and I decided to stay with him. I hugged him while he hugged me back crying.

Classes were still ongoing but we just stayed up there. After school was over I told him to wait for me at the abandoned park we always go to. I went over to my house and asked my parents for a doubled early allowance, since I was the eldest child they agreed but I'd have to work twice the chores. I get $800 dollars as a regular allowance but today I got $1600 dollars. I ran upstairs took a shower dressed up and rode my skateboard to the park. When I got there I couldn't find him. I searched for him around the park but I couldn't find him. I searched deeper to the heart of the park and then I found him on the swing.

I screamed his name but he didn't answer me. I ran closer to him and pulled out his headphones, then he looked up and saw me. He said, "...Oli-Olivia is that you?".

I sat next to him and returned his headphones, I asked him if he had plans for the rest of the day and tomorrow since tomorrow is a Saturday and he said he had to do some chores tomorrow but will be free at 10 am. I told him we'll be going shopping tomorrow but for today we'll go to the hair salon to get some hair cut, and he said sure but we'll have to stop by his house before going so he could get some money.

We stopped by his house, I greeted his parents and we went up to his room because I have been going over to their house since I was a kid they let me go to his room. I sat on his reading table while he went to go get his money from his stashes. He was the only kid so he always got loads of allowance for getting A's in class, not for chores.

He kept his money inside a big piggy bank I got him under his bed. I left his room and went to the kitchen so he could take a shower. His mom was in the kitchen and was asking about my parents and siblings.

I told her that they were all doing just fine and that my mom was at home if she wanted to go say hi to her. we lived 2 doors away from each other While we were chatting Aaron came down and had his hoodie on to cover up his hair. We left after saying goodbye to his parents. When we got to the hair salon I got my hair trimmed while he got his hair cut really low to cover up the crappy haircut those bitches gave him.

After the haircut, we went to go get dinner at some restaurant. After dinner, it was pretty late and we were getting phone calls from parents so we had to get going, we rode our skateboards till we got home.

I went to my room and we started texting each other he was still mentally broken so I had to calm him down by text. We were texting till 3 am. I told him to go to bed so he could do his chores early and then we said good night and slept off. I woke up very late and almost forgot that we were supposed to meet up at 1:20 pm. The time was currently 1:00 so rushed into the bathroom took a shower then brushed my teeth for the fresh mint breath then dressed up then I called Aaron.

When I called he wasn't answering so I decided to head to his house ASAP we were barely 17 at this point turns out he was still asleep. I decided to wait till he woke up before we leave. I kept playing games on my phone till it died because I didn't charge it before leaving so when it died I decided to use Aaron's phone to play because we use each other's phones.

When I picked up his phone it was so right next to his pillow, I opened the phone and for some reason, there was a group chat that kept spamming him while I was trying to play games. I tried my best to ignore it but then I noticed one of the people texting him was Cassandra or as everyone calls her "Cass" she was one of the people who were bullying him all these times I clicked the notification because she mentioned my name in whatever she was saying, and of course like a cliched movie of betrayal right there she asked "when are you going to leave your delusional bestie. Does she know that you are one of us?" "Man I wonder what her reaction would be though if she knew what you really are like 😂😂". Hell, when I scrolled up all I could see, is how they actually kept in contact, and of course, they'd talk about me, and to be honest I was really surprised that he was just putting the act and faking the whole bullying thing but all I wanted to know was "why?"...
