"Hey, have you heard the news?"

"They say Frost will leave The Royals and will transfer school from his home town"

"What? It was true?"

"Yes, someone said that she heard the professors talking about it"

"The school actually let him leave The Royals? I thought it's difficult to leave once you become a member,"

"Well, the school can't do anything about it, even if they don't want to let him go. There was an urgent matter back at his home, they said."

"I will definitely miss Frost,"

"You are not the only one, everybody will. I, especially will miss how he treats Yuan,"

"Me too."

"Have you seen any of The Royals today?"

"I only seen them this morning when they arrived at school, and all of them immediately went to the student council's office, after that none of them have left yet."

"Me too. The professors did gave them a day off today. Maybe they are spending their time together before Frost will leave?"

"Yeah, But knowing Yuan? I bet he was sitting on his chair and working some paper works,"

"There is a 99% that you are right,"

"I hope the remaining 1% is the one who's victorious."

"Agreed. Sometimes, I can't help but worry about Yuan. He works very hard and I'm afraid he will get sick."

"Right. I mean, there is nothing wrong about him working hard but he should take some rest too."

"Hmm.. No wonder why The Royals are babying him almost all the time, especially Frost."

"Some students are talking about the transferee, why is that?"

"Because they said he was very handsome and some said he was gay and that he is part of a gang."

"Are all of that true?"

"I don't really know since he's not from this town. No one actually knows him, all of what they are saying were just rumors."

The students are busy talking either about Frost and The Royals or the transferee while the topic of the gossips are minding their own businesses at the student council's office. The students are wondering when will they take their lunch since lunch time is almost over. Most of them also wish to see Frost one last time before he leaves school. Some are excited to see the new student who will start coming on monday.

‌𝐒 𝐓 𝐔 𝐃 𝐄 𝐍 𝐓 𝐂 𝐎 𝐔 𝐍 𝐂 𝐈 𝐋 ' 𝐒 𝐎 𝐅 𝐅 𝐈 𝐂 𝐄

Yuan is busy reading files and managing school paper reports. As a student council president he is a role model for everyone. Even the other council admires him, aside from being the face of the school for being beautifully handsome. He's also the team captain and the ace to their school's basketball team despite being only in second year of high school. On top of that, he is number one in the schools overall ranking that's what makes him the student council president.

"Yuan, that's enough. Lunch time is about to end, let's eat lunch." Frost calmly said.

Frost Silva, the student council Vice-president who's leaving school today and in the country on Sunday afternoon. Because of some personal matters that he refused share. As the Vice-president he often goes to events that I don't want to attend since I, most of the time hates gatherings. But if the matter is very important both of us goes. Frost is like a brother to me though, I didn't tell him that. He treats me like a child and is taking care of me all the time. I'm kind of sad that he is leaving however I know how important the matter at his home.

"Frost's right Yuan, you've been sitting there since we have enter this room and that was 8 o'clock look at the time now, it's already 12:48. We're all famished." Shane seconded. I'm too focused in my work that I have forgotten the time, if Frost didn't remind me I'll probably be working until dismissal time.

Shane Nicolas Versailles, the peace officer. Exept me, no one else calls him Shane, he doesn't want to be called Shane and I quote "Don't call me Shane it's not manly at all. How will the girls like me if my name is more girly than theirs." end quote, that's what he said. Shane is quite the gentleman playboy type, (is that word even exist?) He got the playboy title because he takes every girls who confessed to him to either lunch or dinner to have a friendly date with him to compensate them for not feeling the same way and nothing more than that. In return, they should try to stop liking him and find someone who's more deserving. He does dated lots of girls but he never had a girlfriend. In short, no girlfriend since birth.

"Besides the teachers gave us today as a break to relax and spend time with Frost, but here you are working your *** off instead. Take it easy once in a while will you?" Ash added looking so serious.

Ashton Grey Lincoln is quite the serious type but he's sometimes open when it comes to us and he's a lowkey caring person. He's the secretary but soon to be the temporary Vice-president because Frost is leaving, the position suits him best than anyone else. I'm not saying that the rest is incompetent but Shane and Liam is quite playful, and both of them don't want that big of a respomsibility as a Vice-president.

"I just hope there's still food left in the cafeteria for us to eat." Liam said while pouting.

William Moore as treasurer, he is a happy-go-lucky type and somewhat childish and playful. He's a year and half older than me but we're in the same grade and class. Despite his age he's still a cry baby. People often thinks that I'm older than him cause I look and think maturely than him.

"I told you, no need to wait for me. Eat lunch first, if you guys are hungry and I'll be just finishing what I'm doing but no one listen." I told them ealier when I heard the bell rings indicating for lunch time but they ignore what I've said and waited for me.

"We forgot that you're such a workaholic lad. Finishing means literally finishing everything that you are doing and God knows when would that be. You still got plenty of files and reports." Shane naggingly said.

"And those papers won't runaway if you take a break and leave it for a while." Frost added.

"Besides, how dare we eat first while you are still here working. It feels wrong to leave you just because we're starving." Ash reasoned out

"I agree," Frost agreed.

"Me too," Shane seconded.

"Me three!" Liam cheerfully said while raising his right hand.

"Fine, fine. Let's go eat and if there's no food left in the cafeteria, let's just go eat outside, my treat." These guys are really impossible to deal with. Well, that's what I like about them and they are treating me like I'm a child who can't do anything if I'm alone just because I'm the youngest.

RIIING! RIIING! RIIING!

"YES!" All of them said in unison exactly as the bell rings indicating that lunch time is over.

"Let's go." I said after I finished arranging the files and reports. Being a council member has it's privilege, we can go to the cafeteria or outside to eat when we wanted to whatever time it is. Whether the break time or lunch time hasn't begin yet or even if it is already over. Let me clarify, we are not abusing our privilege this will actually be the fourth time that we'll went out to eat. The first two happened when we got caught by our works and cafeteria food have run out and the third time was when we all happened to dislike all the food that was served.

We are all members of the student council also known as The Royals, I don't know why but the students just suddenly started calling us The Royals. Because of that instead of student council, we are now called The Royals.

This school has a strange system, the council members is not done by voting but is based on the top five in the overall ranking and the first and second shall be the President and Vice-president respectively. The rest can decide what position they desire. I, Yuan Young, is first in that ranking which makes me the President and Frost Silva being second is the Vice-president.

Whether we like it or not we should obey by the rules (actually there's still a way but we choose to stay because of the privileges) but there was an exeption. Like in the case of Frost he has an urgent family matter back home which is a valid reason for him to withdraw. And when he leave like what I said earlier Ash will replace him temporarily. After the result of the next exam is announced then, that's when we will know who will be the next Vice-president is. For now, Ash will be the substitute while waiting for the next exam. Ash will most likely to be the Vice-president anyway since he's next to Frost in the ranking. But we don't know what will happen until then.

"Good thing classes is about to start so there's no students left in the hallway." Shane

"Yeah. I don't wanna hear them murmuring about me leaving." Frost said

"Well, I don't know if that would be called murmuring. They talk like they want us to hear what they are talking about." Shane responded

"Hmmm" I hummed, as we are about to enter the cafeteria.

When we reach the counter all the foods are almost gone. What's left is the food that we all doesn't like or have an allergy to it. No choice but to eat outside.

"Prawn is the only decent food left." Ash while looking worriedly at Liam who's about to cry cause he's allergy to prawns.

"And we don't like the rest." Shane

"Like I said, if there's no food here then we will just go eat outside it will be my treat."

"It's decided then. Outside it is." Ash, now showing his serious look.

I choose a french restaurant because I'm craving for some croque monsieur. They agree to what I wanted, even if they don't like it none of them have any choice, I'm the one whose paying. But hey, they also like french cuisine and that's why they agreed.

"Good afternoon gentlemen." The woman greated us as we enter the restaurant.

"Table for five, please."

"This way Sir."

We follow her on the way to our table and as we arrive she left immediately back to the entrance to welcome the other costumers. When she left a waiter appeared to give us the menu.

"I want some potatoes dauphinoise, soupe à l'oignon, croque monsieur and please add lots of cheese and for the drinks just apple juice." I immediately order without looking at the menu since I already got some idea to what I want to eat.

"Côtes de porc & Ventrèche,two flammeküche and cola for drinks." Ash

"Coq au vin, crepes and orange juice, for me." Frost

"Steak frites and add more fries please, hazelnut dacquoise, mousse au chocolat and also apple juice for my drinks." Liam

"Poulet rôti, boeuf bourguignon, chicken cordon bleu and a lemonade." Shane

As we finished ordering the waiter repeated all of our orders to double check if somethings missing or if he made some mistake.

"Is that all of it, Sirs?"

"Yes that's all of it, thank you." Then he started walking to place our orders and while waiting Ash starts a conversation.

"Hey Yuan, you heard about the transferee right?"

"Yes. I've seen his profile earlier. What about him?"

"Well, he will be in your class starting on monday."

"Hmmm. That would be great since there's only 21 students in our class and that would make it 22 since he's part of it now. There won't be someone doing projects alone when it's done by pair."

"You don't seem to be happy about the news though." Shane

"I am."

"It's not new for Yuan not showing any emotions. Ash is mostly looking so serious but he sometimes show some emotions when he's with us, while Yuan's always stoic as if he's not feeling anything however it's different when he's with his brother." Liam said a matter of fact

Well it's true though. I don't know, it's just that I feel like something is missing but I don't know what it is. I'm afraid to show what my feelings are. I can freely let my guard down around my brother and family but it's a different story when it comes to other people.

"You're right about that Will. I don't really care what he's like he will always be our baby." Frost said while messing my hair since he's seated beside me.

"Yeah. Even though he's more mature than the rest of us. Frost and I are mature already but Yuan's level of maturity is way above us." Ash said while his lips is curve into a little smile while patting my head cause he is also beside me. Frost being on the right and him on the left. Both Shane and Liam are seated in front of us.

This is what I was talking about. They treat like a baby who knows nothing of this world. I know better than anyone else how cruel this world can be and how the people who used to love and care about you would suddenly disappear without saying goodbye. I believe they won't do anything that might hurt me. I really love these guys I may not say my thoughts out loud but I believe they undertands me better than anyone else. We only knew each other for over a year and half but I believe our bonds are tight.

Few minutes later our foods arrived and then we started eating because we really are famished. After we finished eating I ask for the bill and pay for it like what I've said. When we arrive at school they convinced me to go home and relax since today is Friday and tomorrow we will be having a small farewell party in my house for Frost and on Monday we'll be very busy again. So, I agreed. That was the initial plan when the teachers gave us a break today but I became too focused on what I was doing earlier that I ended up working till noon.
