I have never written a story before so please bear with me…and correct me if I’m wrong. It’s my first time writing a novel therefore please understand my predicament…

Acacia Mirabelle Goldsmith POV’s

It has been 6 years since I decided to study abroad at the age of sixteen, my family would occasionally visit me during holidays in abroad although they weren’t really my blood related family but they still raised me without any biased treatment .Yes, I was adopted at the age of five when my adopted mother saw me in the hospital all alone crying my eyes out.I was basically the time where my adoptive mother gave birth to their second child which was a still born baby and it was that day when fate brought us together.My adoptive parents adored and loved me as if I was their own flesh and blood and my adoptive elder sister, Cara was also a very loving elder sister I admired her the most. After 2years of my adoptive parents adopting me, my adoptive mother was pregnant once again and the whole family was delighted especially when we have known that she was carrying twins.Me and my elder sister were so elated that we planned what we were going to dress them up and argued which style was the best,but eventually everything was well.Your probably wondering why I left and decided to study abroad. Well actually at the age of twelve my biological family found me and contacted me saying that they want me to go back, of course I was a bit happy and excited,but my excitement gradually reduced to dust as my adoptive father investigated my biological family and found out that they adopted a child as my substitute after my disappearance and I was told that they seem to pamper her more and more each day as she grew.I was saddened by the news my adoptive father told me,although my adoptive family comforted and encouraged me, I eventually decided to delay my return and decided to seek my biological parents when I’m ready.

I thought about the events that happened in my life since the times where I could still vividly recall growing up.My beautiful elder sister, Amiya Cara Goldsmith was as beautiful as a fairy we were two years apart at age but we got along quite well, she was my best friend and I was her best friend too, elder sister is a very talented singer, composer and chemist, she also owns various cosmetic companies named ‘IyaCara Cosmetics’, which is the second leading cosmetic company in our Nation Y.I missed her so, so much along with those little mischievous twins , Ashton Samson Goldsmith and Avery Ruth Goldsmith.The twins are already fifteen years old this year when I came back from abroad, Ashton has grow up into a very fine young lad, he was clever, smart, and as handsomely a prince , and was often serious at times and he is quite talented in both sports and business,he became our father’s secretary at this early age of fifteen.And our little sister, Avery has also grown up into pretty young lady, she became even more beautiful like a princess she was,while growing up- She’s very talented in playing the piano and she was labeled and a prodigy pianists at the age of ten ,she won many national and international music awards.

I can’t wait to finally live with them after a hectic six years in living abroad all alone…I mean I do have friends but friends and family gives of a different feeling in my heart.

Back to the story:

Anyways the plane landed and and I got off, (I was wearing a baggy plain black sweater and white short shorts, with a pair of ankle length black leather boots and a white cap),as I was inside the airport lobby sitting and pondering where should I head out first to have lunch before going home , notice these two teenage couple across my sit arguing- well, you can’t blame me I was never a person who loved to meddle into some other people’s affairs, therefore I simply stood up and left and went to with the decision to pick option A, which was to go to Caramel cakes and pastries to eat my lunch.I took a cab, it took 30minutes to get there it was a bit far.

When I arrived at the Caramel cakes and pastries café, I was delighted that they still served one of my favorite desserts. After I had my sumptuous meal, I decided to walk around the plaza to help hasten my digestion.I was leisurely walking by, when I saw my future elder brother in law Kayden Aristotle Luxeberg, sitting near the cafe window to the pastry shop that I ate my lunch at, was having a conversation with a man and a woman sitting opposite to him, the conversation seemed quite pleasant based on their gestures, so I decided to just go and pretend that I didn’t see him.

As Acacia was passing by the cafe window m, her elder sister’s fiancé saw her and made a gesture to come inside,Acacia didn’t want to interrupt her future brother in law’s private business meeting, thus she shook her head and gestured that she was going back home,Kayden of course was a considerate man and brother, thus he did not insist further then he made a goodbye gesture towards Acacia.

‘Pardon me Mr.Luxe,but who was she?You guys seem to know each other quite well.’Asked curiously by the woman who was sitting at the opposite side of the table, she was the market director who is a representative of one of Kayden’s company partners. ‘To be precise about it, she’s my future second little sister in law, my fiancée’s second little sister, practically a childhood friend of mine who was the like a little sister I’ve ever wished for.Tsk, unlike that naughty brat at home,such a disappointment . ‘ Kayden answered truthfully. ‘ Ahhh, so that’s how it is, hmmmmm….What a blessing it is indeed for the Goldsmith family to have such beautiful daughters and a handsome outstanding son,The first daughter looks like a fairy, The second daughter looks like a goddess that came out from a novel , while the third daughter is like an unreachable princess , and their first son is like an unreachable crown prince.’Exclaimed the same woman again named Candice. ‘Indeed’Kayden remarked.

Candice: So what’s the profession of the second miss?

Kayden:She’s a renowned international painter, graduated as the top of the class in H University’s Business and Economics, she mainly has six PhDs and still in counting, she’s a top of the line supermodel and a first line Hollywood actress that won 6 Oscar awards.

Candice: I’m speechless, she’s out of this world.So, how about your fiancée?

Kayden: Cara graduated at O

University as the top three in the class, has a 4 PhDs (Chemistry, Business and finance, Liberty and Arts, and Culinary) .

Candice:Sh*t! Those pair of sisters are incredible, they’re not one to mess with.I wonder who’ll the man worthy of the second daughter though, I mean Kay and Cara are a pair in regards to family background, talents,accomplishments, capabilities and personality.

Kayden: The man that you’re wondering about is right beside you, Candy.

Candice:Noooo way!!! Is it Calisto De Lucca?as Candice exclaimed as she looked at the man who was sitting beside her silently.

Calisto: What do you mean Kay? Calisto asked amusingly towards his sworn brother.

Kayden: Don’t tell me your family didn’t tell you about it? Kay asked smugly.

Calisto’s face turned ashen as to what his sworn brother meant and asked solemnly, ‘What do you mean ‘about it’ ‘?

Then the smug look on Kayden’s face quickly faded and indeed thought that this sworn brother of his, has been deliberately kept in the dark by his family about the arrangement of engagement that has been decided by the De Lucca and Goldsmith’s elders(specifically the Old Master Kroitan De Lucca and Old Master Harvey Goldsmith).So Kayden explained everything to Calisto.When Calisto found out about everything, he vehemently opposed to the elders whole idea about the engagement, for they did not bother to asked for his opinions nor his approval of this sudden news of engagement.
