Hi, guys so this is the first novel that I would be making here!

( He is gain's friend. Both of them study in the same department.)

" Hey, gain! do you want to join us later? " Sean said while laying in my bed scrolling through his cellphone.

It's 8 in the evening classes just ended a while ago. The three of us are laying in my bed. They are used in staying here in my room. Because it is clean and neat.

" We will go to laughs and beers later! " said Lucas while eating chips in the corner of my bed." Eh, new club?" I asked while looking at them. They all nodded in unison." You haven't moved on from him, do you?" Aella said calmly while laying backward on the sofa in my room." I'm trying. I'll come with you later" I told them.

The four of us have been friends since we were kids. Because our parents are friends. When we graduated in senior high my friends and I ask permission to move to another house closer to our uni. And our parents agreed, that's why they bought us this 2 story-house. And that's the story of why the 4 of us are living on the same roof.

" Well, you can't blame him ", Sean told aella while looking at his phone." Right, They have been together for 3 years. It's hard to fail to think of the memories you did in that 3 whole years.", Lucas said while swaying his feet in the air still eating the bag of chips." But that guy ended it just because he is going to study abroad. Seriously he sucks.", Sean said aloud while rolling his eyes. Pissed. "But, forget about him. Don't settle for less, gain. Remember that. Cuz' if he really loves you he'll do anything to stay with you." she said aloud while looking at me. I smiled because she looks like my mom when she's scolding me.

Right, It's been a year since he left me. We were in senior high that time, 11th grade. He left me because his mom found out that we were dating. That's why he left here and continued his study abroad. I didn't know that a week after he left. He's already posting a picture of him and some girls.

\=FLASHBACK=

" Babe, let's talk later on the rooftop", Xander told me while caressing my hair and smiling bitterly. It's 6:50 in the morning and it's just the two of us here in the classroom. I'm sitting in my chair reviewing my notes while Xander is in front of me. My heart is beating so loud. I'm scared of what he's going to say. But I kept my poker face and said " Mhm, lunch? " I asked while reviewing my notes not looking at him. He nodded. " Why can't you just say it here" still read my notes. " Nah, it's important. And I n-need time to think about what I'm going to say to you." I heard the crack in his voice. That's why I took a glance at him. He's looking down on the floor clenching his fists he looked nervous. I'm scared. "Mhm...'kay " I mumbled.

Time passed by.  It's already noon. I nervously looked at Xander who was looking at me too. " Gain, let's go!" Sean said aloud and beside him are Lucas and Aella." I'll pass. Xander and I have somewhere to go." I said smiling at them." Tsk, lover birds!" he said rolling his eyes." ****, I think we will die not even experiencing to be in a relationship" Aella said pretending to cry. And Lucas is hugging Sean who is now dramatically dying while hugging Sean. They're hopelessly crazy. I laughed at them and waved my hands. And looked to Xander. He titled his head to one side. Telling me to follow him. So, I followed him. Thoughts keep popping in my mind until we were already on the rooftop.

Xander looked at me." Mom found out about us ", with a bitter look on his face." W-what d-did she says?" I stuttered my words. I know his mom, she's a religious homophobic. " She told me to break ties with you," he said looking on the floor ." And she told me that I'm leaving this school and continuing my studies abroad " tears started flowing in his eyes. I rush forward towards my man and tiptoed to hug him. He's 5'7 tall and I'm 5'5 that's why I tiptoed and hugged him." Shhh, it's fine hmm.." I told him holding myself not to cry. "You know her, gain. Once she made up her mind. She won't take it back." He told me while he was hugging me. " And I don't want her to get hurt because of me. She's the only one that I have since my father left us before I was born" He said still sobbing I can feel that he's in so much pain. I was the first to break away his embrace." What do you mean by that, Xander ?" I looked at him I can't hold back my tears anymore, tears started to well up in my eyes. He took a deep breath and said " L-lets end this, gain " he said and smiled bitterly at me. I clenched my fists and gritted my teeth " I DON'T WANT TO! YOU DIDN'T EVEN THINK ABOUT HOW I WOULD FEEL, YOU'RE SO SELFISH! (sobbing) What about me? What about me, Xander ?", I told him. I can't even feel anything but pain. It's as if my heart would explode. " I am sorry," he said still looking at the floor. " You promised me that you'll stay with me!" I said looking at him. " I'm sorry," he said finally looking at me. But he turned around and slowly walked away. When he was about to open the door he rushed towards me and gently put his hands on my cheek and kissed me. " I'm sorry, gain. I want you but maybe this isn't the right time for us." and he left.

\= END OF FLASHBACK=

"Pfft- fine, fine. Didn't I tell you that I'm going with you tonight to forget him?", I said still laughing." No, you didn't tell us, you just said that you will go with us not forget him. But, anyways that's good. Forget about him and meet a guy who's more worthy of your love." Lucas told me while smiling.

I can't believe that it has been 3 years since he broke ties with me but I still haven't moved on. But I think this is a sign to leave those memories behind and focus on the present.

I'm already done. I got in our car first to wait for them. I just wore a white loose polo. And on the right side of my polo is tucked in. On my black pants along with white sneakers.

We're already in front of the club. You can hear the loud music coming from the inside. I felt alive again. And I knew that I will enjoy tonight's party. Before we go in. A guard asked for our IDs. When I stepped inside, the music got louder. It felt so lively. Aella pointed to our table and the four of us walked towards there.

Lucas raised his hands to catch the attention of the waiter near us." One bucket of beer, please!" Lucas said aloud for the waiter to hear what he is saying. Not long after that, the waiter arrived and put the bucket of beer on our table. Sean quickly picked up a bottle of beer and straightly drink it." Kyaahhh! Life is so short that's why enjoy every moment of your life, you fools! " sean said while raising his right hand that is holding another bottle of beer." That's right enjoy your life, cheers!" I said aloud while standing. And the three of them stand and say " RIGHT, CHEERS!! " in unison. And the 4 of us drink the beer that we're holding in one go.

Not to mention the 4 of us have a high alcohol tolerance.

I stand up and told them that I'm going to dance a bit. I ordered a glass of vodka from the bartender first and walked towards the dance floor. I started to dance as the music slowed so are my movements. And I saw a pretty guy looking in my direction. He has blond hair and has pale skin. You can tell that he has a nice body beneath that shirt.

He's wearing a black long sleeve turtle neck partnered with a black blazer. And black plain pants and white shoes.

I also looked at him not breaking our eye contact. Then, he approached me. " Hi, you look pretty" the guy whispered in my right ear. " Mhm, thanks. So are you! you look so handsome! ", I whispered next to his left ear seductively. " Can I buy you a drink?" he asked. " Mhm, maybe later!" I tilt my head forward, smirking while I showed him the glass of vodka that I am holding. I didn't talk and wrapped my right arm to his shoulder. I can see his face up close. He looked surprised when I wrapped my right hand around his neck.

Now, that you've mentioned his good-looking features he kinda looks like Xander. His eyes and nose we're very similar to him.

And slowly started dancing seductively as he matched his rhythm to mine and gently wrapped his left hand to my waist.

We talked more. When I decided to go back to our table. I told the guy that I am going back to my table and he just nodded. I started approaching our table but as I walked towards our table I can feel the guy's presence following behind me. **** is he stalking me? I asked myself. That's why I quickened my pace and when I'm already in front of our table there were 2 guys and 1 girl at our table. They're talking to my friends. By partner. I confronted the man I had danced with before " Hey, are you stalki--" what I was about to say was cut short when a man that I didn't know at our table shouted." HEY, CLERVIN HERE!!!". So your name is clervin, huh. Then Clervin just nodded to that man and he looked at me. " What are you going to say? " He smiled at me. I nearly fell for that godly smile. My gosh gain refrain your self. " N-no, nothing! " I told him. " Then, before you my goddess!" He again smiled at me.

It's been a week since that happened. But I can't seem to forget the person I met in the club last week. Gosh, I'm losing my mind. But not gonna lie he's so tall and handsome as hell. If you'll going to ask me, yes I want to meet him again. It's 6 in the morning and I decided to go to the gym. I also packed some clothes so I can go straight to school because Sean and I have class at 9. I just wore a black shirt and black sweat pants. And a black duffel bag. Cuz' i bought my laptop with me. And yeah, I love the black color. No, I'm in love with it.

We have 6 rooms in this house. 4 rooms are on the second floor and 2 rooms are on the first floor. My room is on the second floor same as Lucas's. Aella and Sean's rooms are on the 1st floor which is supposed to be the guest room. But They're too lazy to walk that's why they chose the rooms on the 1st floor.

I was walking down the stairs when I saw Sean eating toasted bread and drinking a cup of milk on the sofa in the living room. I was about to speak when he spoke first.

"Yo! you going to the gym?" he said while taking a bite on his toasted bread. " Yeah, I'm wearing gym clothes aren't I? why'd you ask?" I said in curiosity. " You rude bastard! I told you to tell me every time you go to the gym!" he said while pointing his index finger at me. " Oh, right! " I said while yawning. " Wait for me, I'll just change my clothes. Oh, eat some bread first. I still have some there" he said while pointing to the table where the plate of toasted bread is placed.

It's been 10 minutes and he still hasn't come out. That's why I walked in front of his door and knocked " Oi, it's been 20 minutes. I will leave now if you still won't come out! " (still knocking on his door)." Tada! I'm here! So chill your *** down." he said while giggling. He looks beautiful but..." But what are you wearing? Bitch, we're going to the gym to exercise not to hook up with the guys there!" while crossing my arms. He's wearing black compression shorts and a blue pastel sleeveless t-shirt along with black kneepads and a black sports headband." What am I wearing? It's gym clothes, duh." while rolling his eyes at me." I'm sure, you'll just seduce the guys in the gym like last time." while I facepalm myself. "Oh, it's nothing big, seriously," he said with an amused smile on his face." Dumbass, I wasn't complimenting you!" I said while smiling at his stupidity. "Oh right, bring your extra clothes and your laptop with you because I'm going straight to the uni." Yeah, I already did" While showing his bag to me.

We're already inside the gym. We put our belongings in the locker first. I stretched my body first before running on the treadmill." Hey! how long are we going to stay here? I'm tired already!" he said gasping while running. "It's only been 10 minutes and you're saying that you are already tired, " I told him while looking at my watch." Eh, How can you even last long in bed if you're that weak" I told him with a mocking smile." But, Exercising and making love is a whole different thing." Sean shook his head and pressed his lips together." Eh, I think it's the same. Both need strong stamina." I stared at him smirking.

*Cough...Cough* " Can you please talk about that in another place? Tsk\, tsk\, youngsters these days." An old man in his 50s  that is on my left side told us while shaking his head. " Oh\, haha..sorry\, " I said while scratching the side of my neck." Sean\, just get out of here. Wait for me\, I'll get done after 10 minutes." I said with heavy breathing\, accompanied by a running pulse." ha. ha. ha then I'll shower and get changed" scratching his neck while looking sideways. I just nodded in approval.

It's already 7: 30 a.m. Sean and I are walking right now." Where should we go next?" I asked Sean while looking at my steps." Oh, I heard from a friend of a friend that there is a new cafe near Silver Valley College. Let's go there, I heard the baristas there are hot, and good-looking guys." He said blinking at me. " Tee hee. Then let's get going!" I said while my voice grew bubbly.

We're already in front of the coffee shop the name of the cafe is ' Heavenly Coffee '. When we stepped inside the people started looking at us. The ambiance of the cafe, its bitter-sweet aroma, and people's smiles. The cafe tables in their rich deep browns, and fake decoration leaves.  And the theme is garden. It suits the cafe and the atmosphere.

The cafe in such honeyed hues brings a sweetness to the day, coaxing an inner smile that warms from within. Those people who read some magazines, friends chatters, and a woman writing are the peaceful atmosphere you could ever ask.

But what took my attention the most is the barista. It's him. It's Clervin. Did God hear what I wished this morning? He's with his friend. His name is Elijah the one that Sean has been mentioning lately he even told us that he wanted to sleep with him so badly it hurts. Sometimes, I'm asking myself why did I choose him as my friend.

Sean and I walked towards them. And when I'm already in front of him he smiled at me." Hi, what do you want to order sir?" he asked me." Oh, 1 Caffe Latte and a slice of strawberry cake, please." I told Clervin while looking at the menu. I can feel my cheeks turning red." Ok, you can sit first. I'll bring your order to your table in just a minute." He winked and smiled at me. Does winking is part of the customer's service in this shop? How I wish he'd only do that to me. " Dine in or take out sir? "Elija asked Sean while tapping on the screen." Mhm... take you" I heard my friend saying that eye to eye with Elijah." Sure, you can take me anytime you want" Elijah said while smiling at Sean who's blushing so crazy looking like a tomato.

Then Sean and I sat at the table near them. He's beside me. I took out my phone from my pocket and started scrolling through my Weibo account. I can feel that Sean is gazing incisively towards me.

I looked at him and said " What do you want now, Sean? " I didn't bother waiting for his reply and continued scrolling to my Weibo account. " Hmmm..." then he slowly move towards me and whispered, I flinched because it tickled " You like that guy do you, that blondie barista," I looked at him smirking at me, resting his right hand on the chair while his legs were crossed.

I look and smiled at him " Yes, I think I kinda like him" I lowered my voice making sure that he's the only one who can hear." Here are your orders, sir! " The both of us looked at Clervin who is now handing out our orders. And he gave me one tiny piece of paper and said " call me when you're free " he smiled at me and returned to the counter." Take it easy gain. Just looking at your face right now it's obvious that you like him," Sean said smiling at me weirdly.

" Shut your mouth, Sean. I'm embarrassed enough " I can't help but smile while taking a bite of my cake. " Oh, the cake is pretty tasty. I like it no I'm in love with it! " I told Sean who's taking a picture of his drink. " Is it? give me a bite" and he opened his mouth and I gave him a spoon full of cake. " Hmm... it is tasty. Give me another bite!"

" You have a lot of money, go buy yours! " I rolled my eyes on him." You're so stingy!" he said pouting at me. " How am I stingy? I just gave you a spoon full."

" No, I'm not "

I glared at him " Alright, alright, just one bite okay." I may look like it, but I do have a soft spot with my friends. "Okay! ahhh " he says with his mouth opened like a 3 years old kid waiting to be fed on by their mother." Pftt- you look like an idiot" I said trying not to laugh out loud. He pinched my thigh causing me to let out a small groan. " Didn't see it coming, huh! " rolling his eyes on me.

" Hey, boys! " A woman in her twenties said to us beside her is her friend, I guess. She's wearing a black off-shoulder dress and white pearl hook earrings, and she's wearing black high heels. And the other woman is wearing Black tattered skinny jeans and a black tube, and for her shoes, she's wearing red high heels. They're pretty, yes, but why do they have to wear a thick layer of make-up. And not to mention, they're wearing a strong smell of perfume, it's making me sick. Well, for other guys, straight guys to be precise, it's seductive. But, it's just a no for me.

They sat in the vacant seat at our table. Sean and I are looking at each other, can't explain what's happening. Just by looking at Sean, I know what he's about to say without talking

" Do you by any chance know them? "

" Nah, do I look like I know them? "

He laugh, as he pushed his hair back with his right hand. Damn, that looks so sexy. That's why girls still hit on him even though they know that he's gay. He's actually out in the closet since he came out to his parents when we were in 7th grade. Well, his parents didn't say anything that could hurt him. In fact, they said that they already knew that he was gay. Cuz' when he was a child he prefers barbie dolls more than a car toy. And they're cool with it.

" Oh, how may we help you ladies? " said Sean while smiling at them. The two ladies giggled.

" Hi, I'm Shawntelle " the woman wearing an off-shoulder dress said while gently putting her right hand on Sean's left hand. " And I'm Valerie, " the other woman said while looking at me, winking. " Hi!" both of us said in unison.

" So, we're wondering if you're free after this? " Shawtelle said while twirling her finger through her hair. " Yes, and maybe we can have some fun! " Valerie says. You can hear the seductiveness in her voice. Every man will definitely agree and have some fun with them. But sorry babes. We're gay.

I chuckled. I was about to speak when sean spoke and say " But what should I do?"

Shawntelle and Valerie make a confused faces. " What do you mean? " Valerie says. Shawntelle nodded with her eyebrows furrowed.

" Hon, I'm gay," he said while sipping in his iced americano and trying to maintain his leg-over-leg cross posture. They didn't talk for a second, shocked by what Sean said to them.

"... Y-you're joking, right? " Valerie stuttered her voice while looking at Sean. He laughed mockingly " Do I look like I'm joking? " he says. Looking down at his fingernails. I looked at their faces. Shawntelle 's shocked expression replaced a disgusted expression. And Valerie's cheek turning to red while looking at me, her eyes wide open, I nodded and just gave her an apologetic smile.

" Huh? What the hell. You're disgusting" while crossing her arms and raising her right eyebrow.  Sean immediately stands and says " I didn't ask for your opinion." he said rolling his eyes at her.

I was pissed at what she said to Sean that's why I confronted her and told her"  And says who! The one who wants to sleep with someone she doesn't even know. You're more disgusting than him." I laugh." Oh, just saying" " I said while standing up as I take Sean's hand and walked away.

We're already inside the class. Sean and I were seated in the last row. " Pft- did you see that girl's expression when you told her she's more disgusting than me? " Sean said laughing. " No, I didn't " I grin at him. " If you just saw her you will probably laugh at her face. It was like her world dropped upside down. And she covered her face." He tried to hold his laugh, but he couldn't. I laugh at his laughter.

" Good morning, class! I'm a substitute for Mrs. Lopez because she's sick. So I will be your adviser for this week. And I'm Mrs. Smith. A quick rollcall for you guys! Just say present if you are here! " she said while smiling, and holding the attendance. " Angelica!" Mrs. Smith said while she rearrange her glasses on her face. " Present!" Angelica says.

Angelica, the goddess of our department. She's pretty, kind, and good at her studies too. She had a crush on me once but I turned her down. But she says that it's fine and doesn't let it bother me.

I didn't listen to the other name she said and took my cellphone out of my pocket. Oh right, Clervin gave his number to me. I Immediately took the paper he gave from my pocket. I have already saved his number on my phone. I'll text him later.

" Gain! "

Oh, that's me. " Present! But it's pronounced as ' ga-yin ', not 'geyn ' maam! " I told Mrs. Smith while looking at her. She also looked at me, she nodded and smiled at me.

I decide to text Clervin. Why not? this is once in a lifetime.

Gain**: Hi! This is Gain. You gave me your phone number to me earlier at the cafe.**

Clervin: Yeah, I know. Because I won't just give my number to someone ^^

I didn't expect him to reply immediately.

Gain**: But I'm that someone...**

Clervin**: Except you. I guess you're special:>**

Gain: Stop, please! You're making me fall for you.

Clervin**: Then fall for me. I'll catch you with my embrace.**

**" **I see. He's good at flirting\, huh." Sean said looking at my phone." Geez\, since when are you looking at my phone?" I said while looking at him. He looked at me too "Since you started smiling like crazy " he said with a weird smile on his face." Why are you even reading our conversation? " I smirked at him. He rolled his eyes on me " I'm bored."

Gain: You, you're good with words, huh. You don't have a class?

Clervin**: I don't have a class this morning but I have a class at 1 in the afternoon.**

Gain**: Oh\, I see. What major are you in?**

Clervin**: Civil engineering\, I'm pretty good at math. How about you?**

Gain**: Architecture\, I'm good at drawing\, that's why.**

Clervin**: Didn't know that you're pretty smart. Btw\, are you free this Saturday?**

Gain**: Yes\, why?**

Clervin**: Do you want to watch a movie with me?**

Gain**: Sure\, of course\, you can!**

Clervin**: Ok\, Saturday then. See you ^.^**

The first subject ended with Sean and I giggling.
