What’s one lie you regret saying?

I usually don’t lie….and if I do, they’re all white lies anyway
I spent quite a while trying to figure out a scenario that was eventful

One lie I regret (Pt. 2)
So this is the part I regret most of all…
We would have occasions often in our school, where we would have the stage free for classes to gather and enjoy each other’s performances

I’m going to perform this in the stadium! It’s going to be fun right!?

But you might get nervous around other people

(Trying my best to convince her not to)

I think you forgot I was one of the leads who sang the choir song last graduation
She was good at the choirs she used to sing
But not so much with her pen song
Faelynn
I even discovered new pens that click better than the ones you lent me!!
Lynn grew some weird obsession for pens lol
It wasn’t that weird tho, she still had her senses
However I didn’t want her to sing there
For I didn’t want students to make fun of her and her song which honestly wasn’t that good

Has anyone else heard it?
Nicole was a mutual friend of hours
She was plain spoken and brutally honest

She didn’t like it

She said that the pen clicking was annoying and she would appreciate it if I could stop

But she’s just like that! I’m sure she doesn’t mean it

Especially since you liked it

I know myself it isn’t the best, but since you approved of it, I’m now confidential
I was the source of her unruly confidence
I never said anything to her
She performed the pen song in front of 60 students from different classes who gathered there in their free time
After Lynn finished, no one laughed at her face, which was a relief
But none applauded her either
And quietly moved on to the next person waiting to perform
And we had a quiet, honest chat about it
I felt responsible, and after thinking about it, her pen song was fun. Not the best song, but quite amazing she came up with something unique
Lynn left the next school year, I dearly miss her
But would you believe it?
If I said that people from our friend group went up every year after to sing the pen song together? It was silly, but we made tons laugh with our sarcastic and enthusiastic voices
Lynn had only sung it seriously with a stiff voice
And that’s something which I also regret
Not telling her sooner that if she was going to sing, might as well as make it fun and hype up the 60 people sitting there

I have some ways to contact her, but we don’t talk anymore but unsettled reasons
