So before this starts I wanna clarify something
But only at Mid level he died from picking a fight with a high level spirit with a contractor.
He was reborn into the novel he read
The Protagonist and FL were already on basic level of friends.
But the FL choose the crown prince

By forming contracts with them.
The FL was contracted by the “dragon spirit” a spirit who had defeated a god once.
The dragon spirit got interested in this human since she was more nice to him than the family of the dragon spirit who never knew his identity only the ugly side.
Even the mother said to give him up.
But the father said no since he carried his “blood”
