"Sister in law","sister in law"- shouting a young man lying on the sofa in the living room with his legs up and holding a pillow between his hands.

"What happened?"what happened Kai?"hurriedly a 29 year old woman wearing a light yellow dress with hair tied in a bun speedily coming downstairs asked.

She comes in the living room looks at the young man and frowns. She hits him on the shoulder with a pillow and exclaims - "Gosh! This boy!! I thought you had a heart attack?"Why are you screaming in the morning?"

Ah, that hurts!!-said the young man while sitting straight on the sofa and rubbing his shoulder."Also if someone gets a heart attack do they scream?"

"I never had a heart attack, how am I supposed to know"- said the woman with a innocently.

"haha sis-in-law you are so dumb ah..no..no i..i mean you are so naive" said Kai noticing the woman glaring at him.

"Stop with your nonsense". "hurry and tell me what's the matter? I still have to cook for your brother?"asked the woman.

"Aiya, my dear sis-in-law, come sit here."said kai childishly while patting on the sofa with one hand and helping the woman sit.

Resting his face between both of his hands after passing an ipad to his sis-in-law Kai said in an annoyed and tired tone-"take a look at this sis-in-law".

"What are these?"

"These are all the biodata's of girls from different families dad arranged for me.I have long told him that I don't have any interest in whatsoever families or any companies. But he just won't let me breath in my freedom."sighed Kai.

"Hmm, so you don't want marry any of them and live your life in seclusion, right?"reasoned the woman.

"Ah that's not what I mean"said Kai while taking both of her hands in his hands and facing the woman. He then continued "look sis-in-law,I am so handsome and talented, wouldn't it be a shame that I marry young? Atleast think of all the girls out there? I already hear sound of hearts breaking."

"Yo, what's with that pitiful act of yours?"said the woman while chuckling."Dear brother-in-law, even if you manage to save those women's hearts from breaking who will save your bones from breaking."

"Have you forgotten about your brother? He has already promised dad that you will be going for tomorrow's date. She is your dad's business partners daughter. They even helped our company in the time of crisis.You can't avoid it this time."

"That's why I asked you for help my dear sis-in-law"explained kai.

"But what can I do?"asked the women confusedly.

"Nothing troublesome, just try to convince my brother. if he agrees then half of my worries will be resolved"said Kai with a cheerful expression.

"What are your worries?"Just wandering around countries like a migrant? spoke a man with cold voice from behind them.

Upon hearing the voice both of them turned around to see a tall handsome man nearly 32 year old dressed neatly in an expensive dark blue tuxedo with an intimidating aura exuding perfection standing behind them.

"Brother"subconsciously muttered Kai.

"Darling you went out to bring breakfast early morning?"asked the woman as she walked upto him.

"Um." said the man as he passed the breakfast to his wife."Lanlan, serve the breakfast first I will be coming over in a bit"added the man in a gentle voice as he gave her a peck on her lips.

"Okay" said the woman as walking towards the kitchen while looking pitifully at kai as she leaves the room.

"Brother" said kai looking at him with pitiful eyes knowing what is about to come next.

"Dad has already set a blind date for you tomorrow and I have promised him on your behalf.

They have helped Feng Corporation a lot while you were abroad. I have already checked the girl,she is a good match for you.You are already 22 and not a kid anymore."said feng mian.

While Kai kept staring at his brother as he was speaks with a distressing expression.

He then continued-"Just go on this date later I will talk to dad not to arrange random dates anymore as you need to focus on finishing your college first."

"What?"as if not believing his ears kai asked again "Really brother? Thankyou so much. You are the best brother in the world..oh i love you so much"..kai said cheerfully as he walked towards his brother to hug him but abruptly stopped by him halfway.

"But first you have to go on tomorrow's date and remember do not try to be impudent in front of her."his brother said.

"Rest assured brother, I won't." said kai in an assuring tone.

"Um..good". said fen mian.

Just as he finished the last word kai swiftly ran towards the dining hall and shared this news happily with feng lan(his sis-in-law).

Later after having breakfast, feng mian left for work and kai returned to his room after helping his sis-in-law to clean the dishes.

The next day Kai woke up in a good mood. He thought to himself (Great, just this once and I won't have to go on anymore dates.)

He quickly got up and made a call while brushing his teeth. The call soon got connected and a man answered in a sleepy voice: "Good morning, Kai. Why did you call me in the morning?"

"Woah, master shen you answered my call. I thought I wouldn't be able to contact you in this lifetime. Weren't you in bali partying all by yourself? asked Kai in a cocky manner.

"I just got home yesterday and I didn't even knew you are back"said the man with a straight face.

Kai couldn't think of a way to respond to this brazen man. He shook his head and sighed. Then responded "Forget it, tell me is my work done?."

"Yes, after your brother told my father that you are planning to continue your studies in the country so he got all the formalities done immediately."

"That's good, I trust manager shen's ability. Also I"ll be attending the college from next week."

"Great, now finally we will be able to attend college together. I have long waited for this day." said shen liang as if reminiscing the past. He suddenly thought of something as his mood lit up and said : "Now that we will be going to the same college we can form a group like we used to have in junior high school."

"That's for sure, we will make sure to make up for the things we couldn't do while I went abroad." added Kai.

The two of them chatted for a while before hanging up. Then Kai moved towards his dressing room to get ready for his blind date. He wore a light blue ripped jeans with a white t-shirt paired with a olive green shirt and white shoes. His simple dressing made him look decent and even more good looking while his messy hair and captivating eye that could bewitch anyone made him look like a perfect boyfriend material.

Then he left in his silver sports car towards the restaurant they decided to meet upon. After he parked the car he entered towards the restaurant he couldn't help but think *Although brother has said she is a decent girl I still hope she is not like the ones I met in the past acting all clingy even after I reject them*. After thinking for a while he thought to himself *well i can't blame them afterall it's inevitable for anyone to fall for my beauty*. he then scoffed like a self obsessed child and let out a laugh at his own thought. He soon returned to his calm demeanor as he entered the restaurant.

He then took out his phone and looked at message which said 'table no 07'.

"table no 7, table no 7"he mumbled to himself as he searched for the table. "ah found it" he exclaimed as he walked towards the table but his footsteps suddenly stopped when he saw a young girl sitting on the table while facing the window.

She wore a simple white dress with denim jacket and beautiful long earrings. Just by looking at her one could say that she is a elegant and innocent girl who makes you want to protect her and hide her from the world. Her innocence can be seen through her eyes and her long black hair making it even more irresistible to look. She looked like she was around 18 or 19 years as one could see her fresh face with natural glow.

Kai couldn't help but feel amazed as he has never seen a person who is pure, innocent and elegant at the same time. Kai was thinking of polite ways to reject her as if afraid of hurting her as he was lost in his thoughts the girl suddenly turned around and as she met her gaze Kai's heart suddenly skipped a beat. His mind that was full of thoughts suddenly became blank as he kept staring at her.

The girl looked at Kai and tilted her head after thinking of something she got up and walked upto Kai and asked in a gentle and sweet voice "Excuse me, are you master feng?"

Kai didn't respond. And the girl looked at his face with an unclear expression.

Kai couldn't help but stare at the girls small face and her beautiful eyes that emitted innocence while a few strands of her jet black hair brushing against them time to time. Unaware of the situation, the girl turned around going back to her seat but suddenly Kai came back to his senses and spoke- "Miss Yu."

The girl turned around again.

Then Kai spoke apologetically "Ah I am sorry for being rude I was just distracted at the moment. Nice to meet you. I am Feng Kai."

Then the girl said in a polite manner "Its okay master feng. Have a seat"

The both of them sat opposite to each other. Kai asked apologetically "Did you wait for too long?"

"Just half an hour"

Kai didn't expect this response as every time he was late the other party would say thing like its okay, we didn't wait for long, we just reached here or its okay to wait for you.

He didn't expect this girl to be this straightforward. Kai couldn't help but feel slightly embarrassed.

Both of them remained silent for a while then kai said "Ah miss Yu, would you like to order some coffee?"

"I already had juice while waiting for you"Yu yan said as a normal sentence unaware of the fact that the person infront of her was very fiddled.

There was again a long silence when Kai decided to break the ice. He said while laughing lightly in a friendly manner "Well miss Yu yan how did you recognise me?"

"My Sister told me that Mr Feng's second son looks like a playboy. So it wasn't difficult to recognise you".

Kai was dumbstruck not knowing what to say at these innocent yet deadly attacks that kept striking him giving him no chance to converse normally. At this point he couldn't understand if the girl was intentional or not.

Usually Kai was a social butterfly he had a special talent that he could talk to anyone but today he realised that there are always exceptions to everything.

Kai didn't speak anymore he just took his cup in his hands and started drinking his coffee while taking quick glance of the girl in the middle.

She was looking outside the window in a daze seemingly thinking of something.

Kai thought to himself that how should he tell her that he wasn't interested in there relationship.

If it were any other girl kai would have a hundred ways to reject them, but she was different he didn't know why but kai didn't want to hurt her.

As thought of something he suddenly spoke-"I want to tell you something."

"I want to tell you something."

Both of them looked at each other as they spoke at the same time. Kai gestured her to go first.

She looked at kai and said "I don't want to marry you".

..."What?"Kai reacted as if not sure whether he heard wrong....

In a cafe, near the garden window at table no 07, young handsome boy who almost choked on his coffee his eyes bulging out of his socket in astonishment. yes it's our kai who still can't believe what he heard.

"What?What did you say?" Kai has always been young and talented, he is used to people's admiration and praises. This was the first time he got rejected. Even if it was just what he wanted he still couldn't face the fact that he just got rejected, however he knew he could not do anything and that he had to swallow this sour feeling.

"Please don't misunderstand, actually it has nothing to do with you, its just that I want to focus on my studies and college first. I have no intention in dating whomsoever let alone marrying someone."explained yu yan worriedly.

She then looked at Kai's stupified face and upon getting no reaction she added further: "Infact I only agreed to today's date because my father promised me he won't force me on dates after today."Sigh!

"I am sorry if I hurt you but I think you should be able to understand my situation. I didn't want to offend you so this is the best explanation I could come up with."

*(You say you didn't want to offend me but I think you have only called me to offend me today)*thought Kai to himself.

After taking a long breath, he said "miss yu yan, actually you don't have to worry about that because I was also forced here today by my brother and that too with the same reason. I guess it was the elders plan to send us on this date."

Yu yan stared at him with no expression.

Kai continued- "Actually you don't have to worry we can sit here and chat for a while later we can tell the elder that we are incompatible in many ways and you didn't quite like my personality."

"That means we will just tell them the truth"Yu yan commented.

Kai didn't know whether to laugh or cry at his situation. He could just ignore the insults and continued talking.

They talked a bit about their companies. Then Yu yan asked "Is your reason for not wanting to date anyone the same as mine?"

"Then what is the other half of your reason?"yu yan asked curiously.

As the both of them were on the same page, they were somewhat relaxed now and there were no more awkward silence between them.

Upon hearing the question kai thought to himself that there is no harm in telling yu yan so he told her upon thinking a bit.

"Actually I already have someone I like and I have vowed to myself that I will only marry her in this lifetime."

"Oh, I understand." said yu yan."Then I wish you luck in your love life, remember to invite me on your wedding"added yu yan in an friendly tone.

"Ofcourse, ofcourse. If I manage to win her I will definitely send you the first invite said Kai with an affirming tone with a smiley face.

"Its a deal then." Yu yan nodded in agreement.

As it was already quite late they both parted there ways. As he watched Yu Yan leaving in her car Kai left for shen liang's house.

He somewhat felt relaxed after meeting Yu Yan, thought it was because both of them were on the same page and because the date also ended well, much better than he expected.

Then Kai drove to a small beautiful mansion among the elite area of the city. He parked his car and went inside.

"Yo, look who's here?!"said a middle-aged man with a delightful voice.

"Uncle Shen" said Kai while moving towards the old man.

"Dear god, look how much this child has grown!?" a middle-aged women came out from the kitchen upon hearing the voices.

"Aunty, I almost couldn't recognise you, are you aging reversibly" said Kai with an shocking face.

"Oh this child still haven't changed."said the old woman.

"No, no, look at me, I have grown much taller."

"Bastard, you still dare to come to this place" came an angry voice of a young man from the stairs as he walked downstairs.

"Liang, he has come after so many days you shouldn't fight today." said manager shen.

"You can use your honeyed words for mom and dad all you want, but your flattery won't work on me." said shen liang in an enraged voice.

"Oh, that's sad I especially bought the latest XX game. I thought you'd want to play. Now that you are angry…forget it. I'll just return it said Kai dispiritedly.

"Ahh you always do this to me, forget it. I'll let it go, but this once okay, Next time you have to inform me first whenever you come."complained shen liang.

"Oh ofcourse, ofcourse, afterall you are my best buddy."said Kai.

"Aiyaa, these two haven't changed at all, they still fight over petty things and then reconcile in minutes just like small kids."said mrs shen as she buried her face in her hands.

"Shen liang's mom, Feng Kai has come after so long, go cook something delicious today."said manager shen ecstatically.

"Yes,yes, xiao kai has come, I will cook all his favourite dishes."she said as she overjoydly went towards the kitchen.

"Dad then Kai and I will be going in my room."said shen liang.

"Okay, don't play games for long and be on time for dinner." said manager shen.

"Okay dad".said shen liang.

Both of them then walked upstairs while reminiscing and joking about their childhood.
