Souma , a underestimated sorcerer who is the last of his clan, he wishes to live a peaceful life with somebody who truly understands him.
As Souma too wishes to continue his family legacy for generations to come
Marz, a adventurer who can inspire many to start living their dreams, he has good potential as a compliment from the gods
But would he truly follow reality in the hopes of him becoming his own icon?
Our story takes a destination in a small village where people mostly old hope to finish their lives in a peaceful environment
A village where no big legends come from or heard about ... a silent and peaceful environment
Near a forest filled with unknown creatures..

The wind blows on Figroot Village
Villagers
MONSTERS! SEEK COVER UNTILL HELP ARRIVES
The village has been attacked by monsters from the forest ,in this village it’s quite normal for raids to happen , but it’s hard to keep people safe especially young children and the elderly
Souma watches from above on a mountain
Souma is a often saviour for this village, it used to be where he would come to play with his friends and he would take care of his elders
But he wouldn’t have known a person would change his life forever

Monsters again? ! Goblins attacked a week ago, god give me a break!
Souma
Guess I’ll need to save them again....
Souma takes out his SpellBook, this Book was pass down for 800 years in his family , so it has quite the spells, most are defence and healing but it does have disappearing spells and Magic attacks
Young woman
Where’s my baby Riley!
Villagers
Help will come soon you need to seek shelter !
Young woman
I CANT! My Riley is still out there
Souma
Riley ? That name rings a bell , Oh! That’s Sizuan’s child , She left the village awhile ago to sell spices.. , Welp I’ll go and save them now-
Fighting can be heard in the distance

Wait a villager is having a battle ? , but no villagers can fight-
Souma dashed over to see what was going on

Take that! Stinking Demon Dog!
Souma never once left further than the village fields as he didn’t need to since he lived in a tiny cabin in the woods
This is his fist time seeing an adventurer with a giant sword ,since only guards send controlled spirit beasts to take out the raids

I have cleared the monsters!
Villagers
Oh dear Adventurer has saved us all !
Young woman
Saviour have you seen my daughter?!
Young woman
She has Blonde hair and she is 6 years old!

I don’t think I have ma’am..

*starts tearing up*

The whole village went from cheering to despair as a young girl’s life has seemingly been taken away

Search the village fields and cliffs! Bring her back!
The whole village searched

...... that child is alive..
Souma dashed high above with his skill: Cloud leap
He noticed a young girl with scratches and a bleeding knee she seemed to have fallen down while running from the village due to the monsters

Mama where are you!

*Cries.* Mama *sniff* Mama it’s pain!

Hey girl? Want me to take you to your mama?
Young girl
*sniff* Uncle *sniff* I want my mama!!

Alright,, it’s okay, it’s all over now, hop on my back..

Souma has just brought the girl back ..

Thank you some much! My baby Riley is my reason to live! I could do nothing without her!

You know, Souma you can just go on , you have done so much for us .. we shall learn to defend as we can’t always depend on others..

Wait you guys didn’t leave this village before?

Only merchants in our village go beyond the fields.. Since we never needed too..

Are you sure I should leave?! Who would get rid of the bugs?!

Who would fend off the monsters?!

Who would do the whole village laundry every day for 19 years?!
Villagers
Basically we can take care of ourselves! You can go explore, life is short you need to live a life where you won’t regret something
