It was already hard for a child to grow up without its mother. His father tried to fill his mother's spot but still it wasn't enough.
Also his father became very depressed when his mother expired. He started to believe it was all his fault. If he had taken care of her properly then she would not die. He kept blaming himself.
One day when Tim was almost eight years old his father had a stroke, which made him unable to move his right side of the body.

Who said you're useless? Do you know a person's life is full of surprises. No one can tell what will happen next. If he faces some serious danger you can save him from that. That's a lot of power and responsibility to hold.
