It all started when Nikki, the 7th grade topper was known by Aayan,the carefree boy in 8th grade. It was summer when he first noticed her walking back home from school licking ice-lolly and he shouted out loud,"Hey you don't feed yourself too much of cold desserts, it may hamper your digestion." She left giving him a small smile with her face blushing.

The second time, he saw her staying in class and studying alone. Aayan tried to go to speak up but at the meantime, Nikki's best friend Sony entered,"Leave your books and see what's happening around in the school?" She left without noticing him.

Then the summer vacation begun. Nikki was tired of staying home and decided give a call to Sony through Messenger, a social messaging app. They were busy speaking and Nikki's phone vibrated. There was a message from Aayan..........

The message from Aayan said:

Do you still remember the first time we met??

I am really being unreasonable and I think you're the reason.

Well I don't know how to express😅

I've fallen for you from the first moment I saw you.

I think I'm in love with you.

Will you accept my love?

I hope to see your reply soon.

Don't disappoint me.😶😶

On the other hand Nikki thought of it as a spam and replied without acknowledging who the sender was:

Aren't you tired of repeating this act?

I hate you.

Don't try to contact me again or I'll sue you.

Aayan was disappointed from this message but didn't give up. He tried to give Nikki a call but she didn't pick it and later on she blocked Aayan's account in every social media. Both of them were sad throughout the vacation.

After vacation Aayan decided to propose Nikki face to face and ask her for perfect reason but it was too late as the students of grade 8 were kept for extra classes in school for preparations of board exams.Aayan was a carefree boy but was always a good student with high grades and high expectations from teachers and parents. The teacher noticed him being distracted and called him and said,"What's wrong with you Aayan recently?

You're distracted from studies. If you don't start to be serious in studies you may get very low grades" but still Aayan kept on following Nikki. She noticed him and slowly began to fall for him , she waited for break time to see him and she began to roam among with Sony just to see Aayan. The bookworm began to stay tuition classes in school just to see Aayan. She started to speak about him with Sony but Sony didn't see clearly that her best friend who has never had a crush on anyone had fallen for someone.

The preparations became more strict, the 8th graders weren't allowed to hang out except for lunch. The schedule was too packed due to this reason Aayan couldn't mange time to see Nikki. It was very rare that Aayan would get free time due to which he didn't notice Nikki who was looking for a chance to meet him and Nikki was heartbroken . But still Nikki would change line in the assembly to stay near Aayan .

One day Aayan's best friend Arick just tried to tease Aayan and shouted out,"Hey Aayan the sweetheart of Riya someone's calling you." This was heard by Nikki and she was disappointed and sad. This was observed by a boy Shawn. Shawn asked Nikki about this matter but without a word she left . She realized that she should focus on her studies. After this both of them began to prepare for their exams surrounded by course books and notebooks so that they won't have any distractions..

Finally the final exam was here. Aayan along with all other students of grade 8 were sent to another school for board exam. Nikki was also busy in the preparations of exams.

It was the day before Nikki's last exam, her father called her and said,"Nikki you are a brilliant learner. Next year you're having board exams . It would be best if you could have a transfer to another school."

Nikki nodded her head and agreed without saying a word.

It was the last day. Nikki completed her examination and came out to meet Sony and bid her a goodbye but she wasn't there. She could find a letter in her bag and a handkerchief with fabric painting of two friends.

The letter stated :

Dear Nikki

I'm sorry that I can't meet you in the last day of exam because of a problem in my family.

I'll meet you soon.

Sad Nikki left the school with her eyes filled with tears.

She went for entrance exams and topped the exams. She then got ready with books and copies and new uniform for new school.

She was sad for not being able to contact Sony. Because of her studies, internet connection was also removed from her house.

Then she passed grade 8 and 9. She could make only few friends. She had two close friends; Katy and Irish.

In grade 10 Nikki described them about Aayan. Nikki was also friend of a boy Aksh 《he was trying to pursue Katy》. Nikki was helping Aksh to pursue Katy.

One day Nikki was in her school bus and Aksh came to ask about Katy. Nikki was in bad mood that day but seeing Aksh being so focused on making Katy his girlfriend made her smile.

In the meantime a boy from same grade Andy came in and sat besides Nikki and started to tease her with the name of Aksh. This made Nikki be angry. Then Andy said to Aksh,"Hey Katy is by your side and now even Nikki. Just give Nikki to me." This made Nikki slap Andy so hard that he could see stars.He gave her a stare and left.

The next day Andy came with some boys to fight against Nikki. However Katy realized it and took her away. Afterwhile Nikki returned to bus and went home.

After this incident Nikki totally lost her faith in love. Irish came and started to help Nikki to find Aayan but he was found nowhere. Irish helped Nikki a lot and he became a very good friend of Nikki. They used to frequently call and message each other.

Finally their secondary level exams were conducted and they all passed with very good grades. They all joined the highschool owned by the owner I their school.

Sony and her boyfriend Uhan also joined the same high school. All of them were excited to start their high school journey. In all this period Irish also found himself a girlfrirlend Paulina....
