Life is weird, don't you think? said a talking dog while sitting in rain looking at himself in the window of an abandoned store.

The dog was just looking at him, thinking - Doesn't he care about his jeans? - Few seconds later the dog moved his head towards the man.

The man is petting him, while the dog is thinking - Doesn't he notice my long neck? - And then the man said:

- I like you. Would you like a new home? while smiling big

The dog's eyes were wide open from the words the man has just said, thinking about something similar that had happened a long time ago.

He suddenly barked? Woof? The weirdest woof ever

- I'll take it as a yes.

The dog and the man get going.

- Let's go home, buddy.

The man with hair covering his forehead and beautiful yellow eyes, truly unique, goes home with his long-necked dog while looking at him thinking he deserves a better life. The dog has a subtle smile.

They keep walking passing many people - Is that supposed to be a dog?

- Look at his neck .. Eww

- It looks like a giraffe!

- Mommy , look at that ugly dog, said a kid while walking a his perfectly normal white-furred dog..

They just pass by, pretending they didn't hear anything, the man is thinking they're not worth tge effort...

They finally arrived at his building. It's just a regular building, nothing special , but the dog has the biggest smile, not in the outside, but on the inside.

They're walkie up the stairs, the man lives on the second floor, third door on that floor, there are four apartments on each floor, two in the front and two in the back.

They got to the door and opened it.

This is your new home , said the man while smiling big.

He goes in. Come on in buddy, don't be scared.

The dog walks in one foot at a time but has a weird look on his face. He looks like he's thinking about the past.

He finally walked in and the man says:

- Oh yes. I forgot to tell you my name.

- I am Toma ! Said smiling with his teeth and eyes closed .

- What should I call you??? Bob?

The dog looks like he wants to leave...

- Juma?

The dog looks like this :!

- Maju?

He looks normal now, thinks Toma.

- Well I Guess you decided, your name is now Toma.

- Welcome home;

10 years ago , a dog was born. His parents noticed he wasn't like other dogs so he was abandoned.

He was just a new born... He didn't deserve this ..

A 55 years old man walked by, noticing the abandoned dog. He was hungry and was crying without control. You can't really expect much from new born kids, even dogs. The man had just opened a new bakery in town. The logo was just an old man holding a pie.

He fed him there, at his new bakery. It was night so there were no clients. He used to close the store at 8 PM.

It's morning. The dog had rested very well thanks to the old man, but now it's time for the dog to go home, or in his case, find a new home.

He was thinking the dog was beautiful, unique and special. He thought that he will live a long and happy life, being accepted by his future owner.

- Sorry but It's time to go... said the old man

- It's time to go for a walk, Maju! said Toma

Woof woof, said Maju to Toma

The little dog was crying while standing in front of the store and then without knowing he said his first word:

- N-No , while having tears in his eyes

- Unbelievable, a talking dog. You're truly something else.

A dog that can talk, never expected this.

By the time he was 2 , the dog was able to form sentences just like ant adult.

- Hey old geezer ! said the dog while entering the empty store - How's the store doing

- Just like usual, Mingo said the old man who's now 57 years old - Not too many clients, not to less ... Just enough to pass by everyday.

- Y'know , you can come live with me said the old man

- Nah , I have to live by myself in order to become strong , who knows.. Maybe I'll find a wife soon said the dog..

- A few months ago you barely lived by yourself and now you're suddenly good with it. Good for you, you've really evolved a lot.

- Hey, old geezer .. Are they still after you? said Mingo

- Maju! Come on already...

Meanwhile Maju is peeing in his bed. That'll teach him. Don't rush a dog. Woof woof he said after and went outside for o Walk with his new owner.

I hate leashes, Maju is thinking...

Oh my.. Look at that beautiful young lady ... Woof!

The lady seems disgusted..

- I'm sorry , Toma said to the owner of the dog Maju is talking with

- He's usually not like that, said Toma while Maju is smelling the other dog.

Explanation:

Maju is a talking dog, which means he's able to speak the language of humans, but he's a dog si he can also talk the "woof woof" language.

Maju failed in getting a girlfriend, but he hasn't noticed the other dog didn't think his neck was disgusting...

I had to get my courage up to call her. I've never done this before, not because girls weren't interested in me, but I wasn't interested in a relationship. I was young and I wanted to pursue my dream of becoming a cop. In order to do that I went to college in New York and 4 years later I came back home, in California. My mother has paid fir the college tuition. The only reason she was still together with my father was me and my younger sister.

My father is reach, so that opens a lot of college possibilities. My father was abusive, he was hitting my mother on a weekly basis. He was Smart about it tho, he didn't hit her in the face. I truly resent him, but I love my mother. I promised her I would become rich as a cop, I know, it's not the perfect job to become rich , but I wanted to make the world a better place. I will take care of her once I become a cop. I will buy a home for us. My sister can come too even if she's very annoying.

Right now I'm waiting for my date, Mira.

She's coming to my apartment to leave her dog with Maju.

Toma Opens the door and says:

- Do I know you?

- I was supposed to be on a date with some guy named Mota.

We're off on a good start, Toma thought. Our energies are the same.

- Come on in, he said. You both look very pretty.

I'll bite him if he hits n my future girlfriend again.

- There's enough food and water for both off them, you don't need to worry.

She just smiles.

They are finally leaving, Maju said.

- Be nice you guys! and don't eat my shoes.

- Jeez, hes annoying, says Maju. He wants to look cool and proceeds to say - I do whatever I want.

- Oh my god, you're so old , the other dog.

His eyes are about to pop off . She's si fixated on my age , he screamed in his own head.

- How old are you, then? says Maju

- It's not okay to ask a lady her age

She's so annoying, but so cute at the same time, thinks Maju.

Meanwhile Mira and Toma are headed off to the 5 star restaurant Bunya. He managed to get a discount from his old friend from college. He wanted to become a cop too for a while but after he finished college he decided being a chef was his calling.

- Hi there, Marcus, says Toma. - I Love what you've done with the place.

- Hello there, Toma the Superhero! What's up?

- Toma the Superhero? responded Mira surprised.

- It's a long story.

- Well , We've got time.

- Come here you two . This is your table.

- Thank you, Marcus.

- No problem my friend, come by anytime. You'll always get discounts at my restaurant, he responded smiling.

- What would you like to eat? asked Toma

- Hey, hey. Don't change the subject. Why was your nickname Toma the Superhero?

- Fine, I'll tell you. I saved a girl from suicide. This happened in first year in college. Since then my nickname was Toma the Superhero.

- It was very long, could you repeat it? I didn't get all the details.

- Haha .What about you? What's your job?

- I'm a veterinarian doctor. And that's pretty much it.

- That's so cool. Can I come with Maju sometime for a consultation?

- Sure! she responded with a smile on her face. She truly lives her job.

Meanwhile, back home:

- Would you like something to eat? asked Maju

- No, the dog responded without hesitation

She's so difficult to deal with. I feel like my veins are about to pop.

- We have decided. I would like a stake and a cola, saud Toma.

- And I'd like a big salad , please. And a bottle of water.

- We don't have big salads, the waitress responded

- Do you have big bowls? asked Mira

- I guess

- Then you make 2 salads and put it in the big bowl.

Toma is trying to hold his laugh.

They're both enjoying the date so far.

- Ok , the waitress said with her morale on hitting the floor.

-I have to go to the bathroom, excuse me, said Maju in a rush.

- I don't care, the other dog responded.

Proceeds to go in Tom's bedroom and pee in the bed.

- I'm back

- I don't care :|

It's 2 am.

They're back.

- Hi guys, have you missed us? said Toma

- You can sleep here, Mira.

- Thank you very much, she responded.

- This is my bedroom. You can sleep on the bed.

- Where will you sleep?

- On the floor , and then lies down and proceeds to fall asleep in an instant.

- Amazing , Mira responded. How can he fall asleep so quickly. And then she goes in the bed in irder to sleep too.

- uh .. what's this.. is this pee?

Toma woke up and was confused.

- Im sorry,he said . This must be Maju's doing.

- No problem, she responded. And proceeds to change the sheets.

- Let me help you.

Somehow they got really close and they were about to kiss.

Guess it wasn't meant to be because Maju came and hit Toma in the balls with his head.

- Yes, Maju responded.

Fine, fine.

Toma throws the sheet in the bathroom and then goes in the bedroom and falls asleep in one second on the floor.

Mira is thinking. Is it some kind of secret? And proceeds to lay down on the floor and try and sleep.

I can't believe this . I'm falling asleep , I'm feeling so tir-- And falls asleep.

Toma is sleeping on the left side of the bed and Mira is sleeping on the right side.

- You know what? asked Maju - I haven't asked you what your name was.

- My name is Bela, she responded.

- Well , it's a beautiful name, Bela :)

- She just looks at him , thinking he's not such a bad guy after all.
