Mate's Love Story

I held my mommy's hand as we travelled through the hallway to my classroom. We stopped just outside when she bent down and hugged me.
Skylar mom
"It's okay, Skylar. Don't cry honey"
she said while rubbing my back. I cried harder. This will be the sixth time we moved in the last two months.
Daddy promised me that this would be the last move for a while but, he also told me that a couple of weeks ago before we moved here.
Skylar mom
"Honey, this is the last move for a long time. I promise."
she said and I nodded my little head. She gently nudged me into the room and left me alone.
The teacher pointed me to my seat and began her class.
Soon the bell rang and all the kids piled out of the classroom. I sat at the end of the girls table eating my snack.
