Everything seem to be spinning.

Bai Hua ran frantically, among the bustling crowd her eyes wandered, searching

for a certain jade like boy. Her golden eyes were filled with intense worries

and deep inside were the never ending fear of losing someone dear. She knows

this feeling more than anyone else.

‘Did something happened to

him?’ Bai Hua couldn’t help but to think of the worst. Her soul felt like

flying out of her body by only the simply thought of him being injured. The

voices in her started to condemn her very existence. It was suffocating.

Bai Hua slowed her pace when

her eyes caught the sight of the familiar boy. A sigh of relieve immediately

escaped her red lips. Almost invisible tears of relieve graced her cheeks.

“Xu’er!” Her slightly shaking voice called out

for him.

The boy who was talking to a

crouched man turned his body toward the familiar comforting voice. “Mother! “Tian

Xu’s faced beamed with happiness as he saw the loving face of his beloved mother.

His eyes immediately turned misty, making him look pitifully adorable, with his

short leg, he ran into the embraced of his mother.

“Where had you been? Mother worried

about you! Don’t you know that you are not supposed to go alone? - “Bai Hua

started to scold him as she checked whether or not he was injured. Aside for

his clothes to be slightly disoriented and dirty, he was fine. This ease a huge

burden in her heart.

“Mother! Wuwu~ Xu’er is sorry…”

Tian Xu cried, apologetically. Seeing the crystal clear tears at the corner of

his eyes, Bai Hua couldn’t bring herself to continue scolding him. She was very

worried when she heard from Dongfang Shun that Tian Xu went missing.

Thankfully, she was able to find him safe and sound. Bai Hua sighed and hugged

her son tightly while her hand softly caresses his hair in attempt to coax him.

The man that had been watching

their reunion suddenly walk closer to them. Behind the blood red mask his eyes

widen with realization. His deep gaze bored toward the pair of mother and son.

Looking at this scene, his earlier suspicion finally confirmed. While a moment

ago his eyes filled with confusion and doubt, now it was full with mixed

emotions.

“Hua’er… He is our son?” He

softly said.

Bai Hua immediately froze in

her position, that voice. Slowly, she lifted her eyes and saw the familiar

blood red mask.

Her heart stopped.
