It's a summer night. The sky is filled with stars. Which is making this darkness shine more. I'm walking alone on the street in the opposite direction of the wind. I can hear only my footsteps. These winds , the stary sky, the sweet smell of rice cake , I can't feel any of these. For me everyday was same and every night was lonely Until.....

' I'm home. '

Unfortunately there is no one to welcome me. There is no one who can cook for me , laugh with me, eat with me.......There is no one to stay with me !

This place doesn't feel like a home to me anymore. It's lonely, quiet and dark. It feels like I'm trapped in this darkness. From past 11 years I'm stuck in this dark. But it doesn't hurt me anymore. But still..... maybe this is my punishment.

I laid down on the floor in living room and fall asleep. It's quiet....quiet....then I heard a sound. I opened my eyes. I got off from the floor and followed that sound. It was a familiar sound. The sound, which was calling my name. Now this sound was getting louder with my each step. I opened the door of the room. She was there , lying on the bed. She looked at me with those painful eyes which were making me feel like a Sinner.

Suddenly it became hard to breathe. Everything around me disappeared in that darkness. I tried to run but I couldn't see anything.

' I'm scared.... scared. Please help me. '

' It was a dream. It's okay. I'm fine. ' I said while gasping.

This is not the first time when I saw this dream. I had the same dream from past 11 years.

I opened the window to get some fresh air. It's suffocating. I can't even sleep now. These nightmare are freaking out me. Maybe I deserve this.

(Phone rings)

' Hello ! '

' Hey Riyo , What's up brother.'

' Get to the point. What's now ? '

' Ah you're so smart ! You're still at home , right ? '

' Yeah. '

' On your way can you bring me a bouquet ? I'm gonna purpose my crush today ! I forgot to bring it in excitement. Can you do this favour on me. Huh ? '

' Okay !! '

' Love you brother !!!!! '

I carried my bag and went to buy bouquet on my bycycle. The cool air was hitting my head and making me feel fresh and light. I saw a flower bouquet shop at the corner of the street. I parked my bycycle and went in.

' Welcome sir, What kind of Flowers would you like to buy ? '

' Um.... Actually...For proposal.'

' So you want to confess your love ? Here, these are last one left. '

I moved my hand to take that bouquet but then suddenly a girl snatched it from that lady's hand.

' I'm sorry, but I want these flowers. '

' But they are mines ! '

' Actually I'm in a little hurry. I'll pay for these. '

' Hey....wait..!!'

She handed $20 and ran away from there. I had no choice so I brought the left ones. She came like a gust a wind. With those flower I went to school.

' Riyo, did bring it ?'

' Yeah ' I gave it to him.

' Wait ?!! These are not what I wanted. You should bring some roses. '

' Well , only these were left. I couldn't help it. '

' What do I do now ? '

' Just give them. These are also fine. '

' Are you sure ? '

' Yeah !! '

Very soon out midterm are going to start. So I start preparing for them. I spent my whole day either with books or with my friend Takeshi . I don't like interacting with strangers. I don't like talking much. My life is like a white paper.

' Riyo , I'm sorry I can't come with you today. '

' That's a relief ! '

' Hey how could you say that ? '

' Go now , otherwise you'll be late. '

' Oh right! Then I'll leave. See you tomorrow. '

I was going home but it started raining suddenly. I parked my bycycle near there and ran to find a shed. Then I saw a girl who was sitting in rain. She was completely wet. I went near to here. She was the same girl whom I met today in that bouquet shop.

The girl with red hair and fair skin. Her eyes were blue in colour. She was wearing a white dress.

She is holding something in her hands. It seems that she it preventing it from rain. I went a little more close. It's a brown puppy. She is saving her. Then she turned to me.

She ran towards me. She is coming near to me  with her each step. She passed by me. I turned around. She was standing under a shed. She is looking so beautiful. With those wet hairs, the drop of water on her face makes it sparkle. She is sparkling in my eyes. Everything around her is shining brightly. Her smile is so pretty.

Why my heart is thumping so Loudly ? What do you call this kind of feeling again ?

' Hey , why are you standing in rain ? '

" Come here. Stand with me until the rain stops. "

There's so much difference between us. She is like bright star. And I'm like a dark night. What happens when both of them collide ? Does the darkness fades the bright star ?........

' It's cute, isn't it ? '

' Yeah.'

' Oh you're that bouquet boy , right? '

She remembers me.

' I'm sorry again for that. '

' No , it's okay. '

' Actually I was in hurry today. '

She speaks a lot.

' How did it go ? '

' Huh ?!! '

' Your confession. I heard it. '

' Are you together or you got dumped? '

' Actually that......'

' I guess it wasn't good. It's okay. Don't feel down.'

She is talkative type. A completely opposite personality from me. She is breaking the silence of my world. I don't like talking to others. I don't like discussing my personal life to others.

' Why aren't you speaking? '

' I don't like talking. '

' Huh !!??  Then how do you express you feelings to others. '

' I don't. '

' No wonder,  you got dumped by her. '

' I didn't get dumped. And that was my friend who was going to confess not me. Understand. '

' Okay okay !! I understood. Do you even get angry ? '

Why I'm getting angry ? I never gets angry. I think I'm getting crazy cuz of her. She is completely a different person. She oftenly smiles. Helps other. But why I'm thinking about her ?

After some time the rain stopped. A rainbow appeared. This is the first time I saw a rainbow in these 11 years. It is so beautiful and shiny. Those colours are shining in my eyes.

' Wow , it's beautiful, isn't it ? '

' The rain stopped. I'm leaving now. '

' Hey wait....take him with you.'

' What ?! Why ? I can't , I don't like puppies. Why don't you keep it with you ? '

' I wanted to but I can't. My mom is alergic to dogs. And also I can't left him alone here. So you take him with you. '

' I don't want to.'

' Hey how could you be so cold hearted person? Look at this poor animal. Let him stay with you. I promise once I find a home for him I will take it away with me. Till then , please.'

She was looking at me with those innocent teary  eyes. I had to take that. I brought it with me at home. I cleaned it. And gave him some food.

But today, I experienced many different things. I got wet in rain and even got to see a rainbow. I brought a puppy with me. Now I wasn't lonely at all. It seems now there is someone to welcome me, play with me , eat with me. There is someone to stay with me.

My whole day changed. Is it because of her ? The moment she entered in my world everything changed. But this change I don't know how lond it'd last.

In morning I fed the puppy and then went to school.

' What's with that face Takeshi ? '

' I got dumped. '

' Again! '

' What do you mean by again ? This was only third time ! '

' Third !? You miscounted not third but fourth time.'

' What kind of friend you are ? Instead of encouraging me you are teasing me ! '

I finished up my work in order to reach home early so that I could feed that puppy. On my way I stopped at a convenience store to boy some dog food. There I again met that red hair girl. She saw and came to me.

' What are you doing here ? '

' What kind of question is this ? What we do in a convenience store ? Obviously to buy something. '

' Is that dog food in your hand ? '

' Yeah! I was coming to give it to you.'

' You know my address ? '

' No ! I thought maybe of going to the same place we met to find you.'

' No need to buy. I have already brought it. Have you find anyone yet ? '

' Ah...um...not yet. '

' Well ,I'm missing him. How's he ? Is he okay ? I wanted to see him.'

' Then come with me.'

I brought her home with me.

' Did you give him any name ? '

' No. I couldn't find any. '

' Umm....Rory !! Isn't it cute ? '

' What a weird name ? '

She stayed there for some time. She washed him. Then she fed him. She was looking very happy in doing these little things.

' Do you live alone ? Where are your parents ? '

' There are divorced!! '

' So you don't live with them ?'

' My mom....she was with me. But cuz of sickness she died. And I don't know about my dad. So now I'm alone. '

' I see. So you should thank me.'

' For what ? '

' That I broke your loneliness.'

Though she is right. The girl I met one day ago was completely entered in my world. That today she is with me at my home. I didn't expect this. A day before we were strangers. And now.....

' Then I'll leave now.'

' Oh right! Your name ? '

' I don't think it's necessary to know name, right ? If I found anyone I'll tell you. Till then take care of Rory. '

She is completely weird. Didn't even tell her name ! But I am a little curious to know her. To know her name. Her personality is so cool. She is not afraid of anything. She always smiles. What kind of girl she is ? I want to know more....

After having dinner I went to bed. I had the same dream again. But this time when I wake up I saw Rory next to me. It makes me feel a little safe. At midnight I wasn't able to sleep. So I started doing my homework.

Next morning I fed Rory and went to school. I was a little sleepy cuz of last night. So during break I went to the school storeroom to grab some sleep. I closed my eyes for a moment. I dreamt of her.

She is so close to me right now. Then she kissed me...

I suddenly wake up. It was really a weird dream. But it felt a little real. The moment her lips touched my lips it felt so real. I can even feel her presence. Her smell of perfume is still fresh in my mind. But it's a mere dream.

' Riyo , Where were you ? I was looking for you.'

' Why !? Something happened?'

' Actually....I wanted to ask if you wants to join the basketball match. '

' No.'

' But why ? Why did you stop playing ? '

There was a time when basketball was my life. I loved playing it. I wants to become a basketball player. But After that incident I even stopped playing basketball.

It isn't fun anymore to me. I hate it so much now. That I don't want to hear it's name.

I was riding to home. When suddenly someone hold my bycycle from back. When I looked it was her. She sat on my bycycle and told me to give her a ride to the mall. Today I was feeling a little uneasy around her cuz of the dream I saw this afternoon.

I tried to ignore her. And lied her that I'm in a hurry. But she didn't listened to me. So I had to take her to mall. When we reached there. I was about to leave but she grabbed my hand and brought me inside the mall with her.

Her hands were cold. My heart started racing. I was feeling hot. I even started sweating profusely because of that.

' What are you doing ? Where are you taking me ? '

' I was feeling lonely. So accompany me here. '

' I have to go home early.'

' Oh is this the lastest edition !! I always wanted to try this lipstick. '

' Are you even listening to me ? '

' Let's buy some stuff for Rory ! '

' But he is not staying with me permanently.'

' So what ? Till he is with you serve him your best. Who knows maybe you'd change your mind.'

' I won't.'

She bought a lot of things. Then she helped me in carrying those things to home. When we reached home Rory was waiting for us on the door. He gave a warm welcome.
