'*i'm sorry... I don't mean to end our family. I'm sorry please don't break up ma,pa . I'm sorry it's my fault I shouldn't have said it'. a girl around 10 years old with a white mini dress uttered as tears started falling from her small bare face. a look of regret was spared as she followed where the girl was looking at .. there a man around his forties on his knees pleading at the woman who's age around thirties .the woman stared at the man coldly as she push him away from her , her gaze then drops to where me and the little girls is at. I froze for a moment .

'ma, I'm sorry I didn't mean to say it' . the little girl said and she then walk towards her mom only to be ignored as her mom walks pass her and reach out her hands to the boy who's standing beside me.. the boy look at her and smiled.. while the girl was left alone .

there's no sound but she can tell the child is crying.. I want to give the child a hug but....for some reason my chest is pounding So loud I can almost hear it*....

"ahhhh .shit that same dream again . I'm so sick of it ". I said aggressively as soon as I opened my eyes.

this past days I've been dreaming of the same dream over and over again after I moved in at this old house..

I wonder who is that girl in my Dream.

'anyways I still have a work to do' I thought as I raised up from the bed.

I started with my usual morning routine, do the bed, clean the room,wash my face ,brew some coffee and make some sandwiches for breakfast , after that I'll eat ,turn the music speaker loudly and play some sad songs to get inspired, once everything's all good I'll start writing on my notepad to be transferred later on my novel app. writing is the only thing I'm good at anyway.

____________An hour later___________

"I've finished everything finally" I exclaimed.

now it's time to head out , I have to meet my best friend at the coffee shop .

"~i am so lonely ~ I have nobody , I am so--" (my phone ringtone)

"hello?"I said as soon as I pick the call up. it's unregistered I wonder who it could be.

"Shantel Mercury where on earth are you?? I've been waiting for you for almost 30 minutes now!".said by the woman on the other side.

oh it's Tiffany Sandiego ..she's my best friend but why is she calling me from unknown number? I don't remember hearing her. having a new number.

"oh. right I was just about to go -"

"just about to???just hurry up already , I have something important too say okay? I'm at he usual spot see ya." she said and hung up the the call..

"what's wrong with her?". I blurted with my right eye brow up. 'she's acting weird .

well whatever, I'll just hurry or she'll get annoyed at me again.

(Fast-forward 20minutes later)

as soon as I reached the coffee shop I went directly to our spot and saw her there with her head down eyes close and with her earbuds on her ears ... I guess she's sad today.

I sat on the chair beside hers and and wrap my arms around her..she was startled for a bit but then she moved her body to face mine and hugged me back , she rested her body on mine and buried her face onto my chest...

I wonder what's going on ..

she's not usually like this ...and when she is .. I'm just glad I'm there for her.

"what's wrong tiff." I ask while patting her back gently.

"it's nothing I'm okay." she replied sounding like she's about to cry.

I took a deep sigh ..

"you know, I'll just be here . I'm willing to listen so just tell me once you're ready okay?." I said as I hugged her tighter..

I can feel my shirt getting wet.. she must be crying.

"I k-know. I'm sorry , I'm like this again." she cried out.

good thing the spot we're in is a private one for VIPs only. I don't want others to hear and see her like this.

"it's alright, whatever's going on just know that you can lean on me." .

Tiffany was there for me in my hardest moments.

She's the only friend that I value the most.

If I can I'll do anything for her..

She may not know but i treasure the friendship I have with her..

she moved herself away from me and took some tissue inside her bag and wipe the tears away ..

the moment she moved away from me I felt a sudden emptiness.

"weird." I utter unconsciously.

"hmm?what's weird?" she ask looking at me straight in the eye with her hands fixing the strangled hair..

"nothing ,here let me do it." I said and chuckled as she pouts at me. I then moved closer to her to fix her curly long dark brown hair .

"hmp, I can do it. myself you know". she argued that made me laugh.

"hahaha we both know you can't, you're not good at this tiff." I said.

she just rolled her eyes in annoyance.

I then look away and covered my mouth as to not let a laugh out.

"oh come on stop laughing will you?tsk. you're so annoying seriously!". she blurted out. and smiled at me anyway.

"alright ,heh you're just so cute when you pout you know. so anyway what do you wanna eat?".

I ask and click the red button under the table. it will rang on the kitchen side so they'll know if someone wants to order. it's by color too so right now we're at red .
