Adam Walker had come from America to China to increase his influence and become successful at the age of 20.

After 4 years, he was able to become quite famous and have his business empire building at a good and continuous pace. He also had a girlfriend when he turned 22 and had been dating her for 2 years now.

He threw the keys of his car to the waiter who respectfully bowed in his direction and walked inside, passing the responsibility of parking the car to the waiter.

Going inside, he walked to the elevator while the light continued to fall on him from the chandelier that was hung on the ceiling.

Many people wearing luxurious clothes walked all around the place as this hotel was one of the most famous hotels for the upper society who liked to experience luxury and comfort.

In the elevator, Adam pressed the 6th floor, and beside him in the elevator were a girl, who had a dazed look on her face, and a woman wearing a skin-tight one-piece red dress, showing her body proportions perfectly, and the last ones were a couple with a man wearing a black suit with his arm wrapped around the woman's waist.

Adam ignored all that after looking at them for a second and thought about the reaction his girlfriend would have after hearing about the news he was going to bring.

Reaching the 6th floor, the elevator stopped, and Adam walked out with the woman in red stopped too as this was the floor where she had booked her room too.

Adam soon reached in front of the door, with the number 605 written on it in gold color. While the woman stopped two rooms away from him, at the door with number 607.

Opening the door, a look of confusion appeared on his face as the door was not locked which was weird.

'Did she forget about it...or did someone come here and leave the room opened?'

The lock on the door was automatic, so if someone had opened it on purpose, only then it would remain unlocked else it would be locked on its own, which made suspicion rose in Adam's heart.

'Na, she may have forgotten to lock the door, as she had been busy preparing for her exams...'

Adam walked inside with silent steps after he dismissed his suspicion, trying his best not to make any noise as he wanted surprise his girlfriend.

The room was not a simple one, as it had a separate living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom and shower room, separate from those in the rooms, a wardrobe, and a kitchen if the customers wanted to cook their own food.

It was one of the top hotels, so this much was legitimate and Adam had only booked the middle-class room as the other rooms that were more luxurious than this one needed to be pre-booked way before the actual time.

Going inside, Adam stopped in his tracks and hide behind the wall right before the way to the living room as he heard a man's voice coming from the living room.

The voice of a man, speaking in a kind tone entered Adam's ears. The tone was as though the man was talking to someone he loved deeply. But to Adam, that voice was filled with vicious nature.

He recognized that voice!

The one who had tried to steal the deal he had just signed from him!

Why was he here?!

Ominous thoughts rose in his heart, but he tried to stay calm and walked beside the wall where the space to the living room was. The room had a corridor in the start from where customers could walk in the living room and other rooms.

Adam stared inside the room, and what he saw sent chills down to his spine...!!

He saw his girlfriend, Lilliana, someone he had been dating for 2 years and had known her from when he was studying, sitting in the lap of another man while staring at each other.

Anger rose in his heart!

Lilliana smiled and started to hit the man on the chest softly.

He placed Lilliana down on the sofa and took his phone out of his pocket and answered the call after seeing that it was his assistant.

"I ruined Adam's mind, and got the deal, now I just need to ruin his girlfriend after coming back..."

Adam walked back to his car while drinking from one hand, and carrying other bottles with his other hand.

"Just what did I do to deserve that?!"

Adam muttered under his breath as he opened the door of his car and placed the bottles in the passenger seat and drove away with his heart feeling more and more pain.

Even the alcohol seemed to not affect his heart, but it did affect his brain as his liquor tolerance was never that high.

After finishing the first bottle, he quickly opened the next bottle, with the wind flowing in the car from outside and moonlight falling on him.

But while opening the next bottle, he got distracted, and being already super drunk, the car lost its balance, and nearly crashed into a large dumping truck, but Adam at a moment's notice stopped it by rotating the steering wheel to the left, but alas, crashed into a wall, so strong that his car got squished as his speed was way too high.

Being nighttime, there was not much traffic as many people had already gone back, while those that were there ignored it as he crashed into a place with little light.

Reaching there, he entered the bathroom, and had his figure return back to normal, his human form. The tiles in the bathroom were shining and Adam could see his figure in the tiles making him once again realize how much he had changed.

But suddenly, he realized something else.

'What am I even going to do here?'

He was planning on getting drunk and going away from this place, not to return there.
