It was early in the morning, we were told to pack our things up because we will be heading somewhere. I already had an idea where we’ll be heading to, but i guess I’ll just see things for myself about what it is.

I was already in the car, we were just waiting for my younger brother to finish packing up his stuffs. After around 30 minutes he was done and got his stuffs in the car and got in and we were set to leave.

After a two hour drive we’ve arrived at the unfamiliar place, as we got out of the car a beautiful woman in her fourties was walking towards us with a welcoming smile.

“Oh my, the two of you must be Kaylene and Harvey..”

“You must be wondering who I am, I am Louisa Auzora a great friend of your mom which I’m sure of that you’ve heard of me.” She said and I nodded at her last statment.

She wasn’t wrong, I’ve actually heard alot about her from my mother and from what I know is that they’re both bestfriends.

“Let’s go in shall we?” She said and led the way around this mansion.

She led us to the living room, and I sat down while she called their house maid to serve some tea.

“Um, Mrs. Auzora why were we sent here?” I asked, then she placed back her tea cup back on the desk and looked at me in the eye.

“You see…” She called their butler to come closer and the butler handed her an envelope, then she took out the papers inside the envelope.

“The Delarias and Auzoras had an arrangement long ago…” She said and then handed me the papers.

She continued to discussed while I was reading the papers she gave.

“The arrangement was that you’ll be married to my youngest son, who’s the heir of Auzora family.” She said, which she dropped like a bomb to me.

I felt my brother looked at me worriedly…

“Excuse me?”

“Basically, in shorter terms I got arranged with your son?!”

“Yes.” She said and sipped from her cup of tea.

“Oh my gosh… give me a moment please…” I said looked at the papers im holding and tried to process everything.

“Also aside from that, form this day and onwards you and your brother will be living in the Auzora’s mansion.” She said and smiled.

“And lastly don’t call me Mrs. Auzora just feel free to call me Auntie!”

I just nodded and tried to put up a smile on my lips.

Then the butler whispered something to Mrs. Auzora, which made her smile widely, the butler left after the madame had ordered him something.

Less then a minute, the butler came back with a lad which he looked like the same age as me, but speaking of looks he does look familiar somehow…

I just cant point out who he was, and where have I seen his face.

Mrs. Auzora grabbed the lad’s wrist and pulled him to sit down beside her and she faced me with her smile.

“Kaylene, this is your fiancé my youngest son Caspian Auzora!” She introduced, which seemed to drop like a blow for her son.

“Fiancé?” Her son asked confusedly.

“Mom?!”

Uh oh…

“I am not getting engaged with that young lady, mom you know that I’m with Angelica!”

“I know but Cas, she’s no good I promise you that.” His mom said as if she was so sure of what she just said.

“You haven’t even met her?!”

“It doesn’t matter whether if I’ve met her or not, I am confident when I say that she’s no good, and she’ll only break your heart.”

Well, this is interesting I think that Mrs. Auzora knows something that her son doesn’t but she just doesn’t want to spill it right away.

“No mom, I am not gonna get engaged with her I mean she doesn’t even fit my ideals and standards…”

If he’s go against this, then there shouldn’t be any problem. Do whatever he likes, so that his mother would feel apologetic for dragging me into whatever this is.

Well, first of all ouch and second of all as if I also wanted to be here and lastly don’t worry the feeling of hatred about this news is the same I wouldn’t want to be with someone who’s so rude and not so even great.

What a waste of his pretty face.

Too bad, his face shouldn’t be liked if his attitude is like that.

I stood up and said, “Excuse me but can we know where our rooms are?”

Then madame of Auzora told their butler to show us around and our rooms aswell, before we left I rolled I saw him looked at me annoyingly and I just rolled my eyes and left along with brother.

“Miss Kaylene’s room is here and for Harvey’s room it’s just beside your sisters room.” He said and left us along with out bagges.

Harvey and I went in to our seperate rooms, I was unpacking my baggae when someon entered the room which I didn’t bother to look at whoever it was.

“Please knock, before you enter.” I said.

“What are you doing in my room?” It was the voice of the Cas- Casper? Was it? Then I stopped what I was doing and looked at him and raised a brow.

“Your room? Clearly the butler said it was my room.”

“What? Oliver wouldn’t say that, he’d know that this clearly belongs to me!”

“Then just call your butler and ask him again.” I said and rolled my eyes.

Which he did called for the butler named Oliver, and interrogated him.

“See, I wasn’t lying.” I said and shrugged.

“It was the orders from your mother.” Oliver said to him.

The butler left the room while this guy named Casper was it? He frustratedly sighed and looked at me.

“You sleep at the sofa.” He ordered.

Tch, who the hell are you to boss me around.

“Is this how you treat your guests?” I asked.

“Because shouldn’t you offer me the bed while you take the sofa?”

“And why would I do that?” He asked.

“Because… I said so.”

“This is ridiculous!” He said and left the room.

He didn’t return back.

And only returned in the morning.

Apparently its beena month ever since we’ve moved in, my brother and I have adjusted easily but theres somethings that are better left off as it is, for instance whatever me and that Casper has going on.

Remember, I said that he went home in the morning turns out he did slept on the sofa and he still does up to this day.

Right now, we’re having breakfast with Casper and his mom and I’ve learned that it’s actually Caspian and not Casper but who cares, I got used to thinking his name was Casper for a month so let it be.

“Sir Caspian, Alistair has come to visit you.” Oliver said and Caspian left the table.

Once we’ve finished eating breakfast, my brother and I headed to the garden.

“Don’t you have any friends to hang out with?” My brother asked.

“Oh please, as if you have one aswell.”I retorted.

“I do have one which infact I’ll be going out to meet them.” He said confidently and slowly waked away.

“Whatever…”

“Don’t come home too late!” I yelled as I watched him walked away which he probably heard.

I was about to go back inside until someone blocked my way, I have no idea who this guy is…

“What a pretty face…” I murmured.

“Thanks, I get that alot.” He said which surprised me… He heard that?

“Ah…”

“I take back what I said.” I was supposed to walk out but he opened his mouth again.

“Hm, What are you doing here anyways, are you perhaps a friend of Cas—“

“Don’t even ask me, ask Casper and whatever his answer will be the answer to your question.” I simply said.

“First of all, it’s Caspian for you miss and not Casper—“

“I know, but do I look like I care?”

“Tch.”

“Anyways second of all, she’s just uh my….”

Your what? I said in my head and raised a brow while looking at him.

“My cousin! Yeah right my cousin…”

Friend could have been better than cousin, why am I even still here and witnessing his stupidity act.

Then suddenly the madame of Auzora spotted us, and walked towards us.

“I couldn’t help but to join…” She said and chuckled.

“Don’t be fooled by my son Alistair.”

Oh no…

“She’s his fiancée.” She introduced, while this uh Alice guy was shocked.

The madame laughed at his reaction…

While Caspian, and his mom went back in which I think will be about Caspian nagging or arguing with his mom about introducing me as his fiancée to his friend.

While the mother and son are away, his friend Al– what was his name again… Alice?

This Alice guy started to interrogate me.

“Are you really his fiancée?”

“I dunno.”

“Do you know that Cas, has a girlfriend.” He said like a whisper to me.

“Mhm.”

“You know, I don’t know how to tell Cas, that his girl has actually been cheating on him for a long time.”

“But then now I discovered he has a fiancée!?”

“Don’t be too surprised…”

“It’s because of our parents.” I explained.

“Well that make sense, Cas wouldnt even look at other women as long as he has his girl.” It makes me more curious what kind of girl he was even dating, gosh he must’ve a terrible taste!

“But he has a girlfriend and a fiancée, don’t you feel uncomfortable?”

“Why would I? It’s not like he has done something with me and not like we see each other romantically.”

“Mmm… I get what you mean.”

“Anyways, do you wanna be friends with me?” He asked and offered his hand.

“Why should I?” I asked while my arms were crossed.

“Because I think that a beautiful princess like you should be friends with someone who has the visuals of a prince!” He said with confidence.

I rolled my eyes and shook his hand, eventually I let out a chuckle because I realized how ridiculous his statement was.

“By the way princess, what’s your name?”

“Kaylene.” I simply said.

“You?”

“Alistair.”

“Your name is too long for me to remember…”

“What about I call you Alice? Since it sounds the same with your first four letters in your name.”

“Mmm… I think it’s cute, what about you? Do you prefer Kay? or full name like Kaylene?”

“Do whatever you want.”

“Alright princess.”

Sounds kinda eh, but whatever works for him I guess…

Then Caspian’s voice called for Alistair, which I suppose he’s done doing business with his mother, but then I felt a hand touched my shoulder, it was no other than auntie Auzora.

“Caspian, Why don’t you bring Kaylene along with you?” Caspian just groaned and obeyed his mother.

“But wait first, I’ll ask the maids to pick an outfit for Kayelene.” Auntie Auzora said…

Oh gosh no, a simple outfit will do….

It didn’t took long after I changed into the dress and heels given to me they did a light make up on my face…

When I got in the car, I saw Alistair’s expression brightened as he knew I was joining their whatever plans for the day.

I just sighed since I dont even wanna be here, and from the mirror I can see Caspian’s annoyed expression. While looking at the mirror our eyes met and he let out a ‘tch’ from his mouth.

Gosh, I hate that attitude of his and he’s so annoying.

After an hour we’ve arrived at the destination, it was like a private property of the Auzora’s which I wasn’t mistaken since Alistair confirmed it.

Caspian got out of the car first while Alistair assisted me getting out of the car.

“He’s planning to bring his girl here for their anniversary next week…” Alistair whispered to me.

“And we’re here because?” I asked Alistair.

“Originally, he asked me to help him clean up the place and plan a surprise but the plan changed since you’ve joined us.”

“Pretty sure we’re not gonna do the original purpose of why we’re here.” He shrugged.

Caspian ordered me to stay in the cottage since he said he and Alistair will be fixing the surprise set up somewhere near the area but I won’t buy it he was smiling mischievously while he was telling me the details, man he didn’t even put an effort in deceiving me.

I just nodded and watched him leave the door, do what he wants I’ll be here just watching the play he’ll put on.

….

I’m getting bored here… and I realized that it’s getting darker.

When I got out of the cottage, Caspian’s car that was parked on the spot I remembered was gone.

Ah fuck, so this is how he wants to play?

I had no choice but to walk my way out of here, theres a pathway so it wouldn’t be hard for me to find my way out of here.

…

The thing is this place it was an hour drive, but it seems like I didn’t brought any money with me and my e-wallet is empty aswell, goddamn the timing is too good.

Then my phone rang, it was Harvey and I answered it.

“Where are y—“ his voice was cut off as my phone battery died, 0%.

I had no choice but to walk my way home, luckily I remembered the way, my only wish is that I wouldn’t run into some troubles.

…

I don’t know how long it took me to get back here, I saw his car on the parking and I thought of how nice if I ruined his expensive model car.

Then again… Im not that crazy enough to do it.

But if I think about it again, I couldn’t even feel my legs from walking that distance, but I chose to be a mature person and not childish like him.

When I entered the mansion, and got up to my room there was that jerk lying down all comfy at the bed.

Removed my low heeled shoes from my feet and threw each of my shoes at him that wasn’t enough I also threw my purse at him.

when he yelled in pain, I walked towards him and grabbed his hair and threw some punches on him.

“Casper. You. Fucking. Asshole.”

“Boy, This isn’t over yet, you better hide your pretty face or I might just do something about it for my payback.”

He immediately left the room while my brother entered the room with visible confusion on his face.

“I don’t even wanna ask what happened to you.” Harvey said.

“Then don’t.” I said and rolled my eyes while he chuckled.

“Man, never thought he would do that tho.” He said.

“Well now we know.” I said.

“Rest up, I’ll check on you tomorrow morning.” He said.
