For the first time I am not writing a typical Mafia dark romance. Yes I admit this can damned book can be dark, gore , lethal and blah blah blah but this time I can guarantee that it is not typical Mafia story I write everytime. Everytime I wrote about multi billionaires who fears no one's daddy and they're always the richest. And I hate myself for the cringe. :)) I am writing this one to show the reality of this cruel world, this book is based on real themes like Child Marriage, Toxic Masculinity, Marital Rape, Abuse, Molestation, Prostitution. I am not sure but this book can be more emotional rather than being a dark romance. (I am not sure:)) and this can be boring if you are a Mafia Dark Romance reader.

As y'all know that I am a very calm person and I mind my own business but if I face any plagiarism and see anyone copying or disrespecting my book...

The stark smell of bleach hit my nose, I scrunched my eyes at the bright light that was sipping through my closed eyelids.

My body felt heavy, I wasn't able to move.

I blinked desperately trying to see what's around me.

It was an hospital. The room was clean having a typical hospital bed, IV and monitors displaying my heartbeat.

The IV drip was left undisturbed so that fluids and medicines can go directly into my blood. Several other tubes were taped to my arms.

And I finally remember the tragedy which took place couple of hours ago.

Yesterday night was awful with a storm accompanying when my husband and I was riding to Boston from Texas, It was a 30 hour journey and we almost reached there.

I didn't knew why my husband was so desperate to shift. The evening before yesterday he told me that we are leaving and the next moment I was tied up at backseat with our luggage.

I obeyed him the way I always do, as I didn't wanted to get beaten up into a pulp again. I know I should leave a man like him but I have nowhere to go. I may sound like a 30 year old but I am only 18.

All he wanted was to reach Boston as quick as possible. The storm got worst more and more every second, he decided to took a short way, we were on a bridge.

all of the sudden, something came in our way hitting the windshield. Everything went in slow motion for us and our car fell into the water.

And that was the last time I saw my husband.

My daze broke as I heard the sound of door opening. I saw a nurse wearing a clean uniform with her hair tied into a bun.

She sounded professional, she was beautiful and appeared to be a several years older than me.

I smiled back at her.

She filled the syringe with some medicinal drug and inserts it inside my arms.

I was desperate to know about my husband, where's is he? is he fine or not?

I couldn't keep my mouth shut and I parted my lips to ask.

As soon as she heard me, her eyes squints and her expression changes into a twisted one.

Blood pounded in my arms and my heartbeat stops, I was frozen to my place , my stomach twitches and I could notice goosebumps appearing on my body and long drop of tear escaped from my eyes.

I was shocked to the core and my world turned upside down.

And I realised that I lost everyone in my life. The man i loved the most wasn't here. He is gone.

I felt like breaking down and my eyes fell on a calendar hanging on the wall.

The year it show was "2022"!!

How come was that possible?? We just celebrated new years eve and it was December 2020.

2 years have passed after my husband's death and I was sleeping.

I LOST HIM. I LOST MY HUSBAND!
