In the small community of Buug, there was a family composed of three. Aling Nina, Mang Ben together with their only daughter Kathy May Ramiro. Aling Nina is a laundry woman while Mang Ben is a farmer but despite of their situation in life they did their best to send their daughter to school.
At the very young age, Kathy learned how to be independent. She knew how to find money for her own and for her parents. She understand the situation they are in, so when her mother have a laundry she help her. To think that it’s still enough so she decided to enter the world of pageantry.

Good evening ladies and gentlemen. We are in the last part of our program that is the Q and A portion. Now again, let’s all welcome our 10 lovely candidates.

Thank you for the question, my advocacy will be having a shelter for the old ones who are currently sleeping on the street. Those Grandpa and Grandma who have been abandon by their own children and family. I want to provide them shelter, foods, and clothes to answer their basic needs that would be all thank you.

Kathy was so happy upon hearing that she is the new Ms. Zamboanga Sibugay 2013.
She can get cash on winning and that money is a big help for their small farm especially to her father.
She will give it to him so that her father can buy fertilizer for their corns and crops.
After the pageant, she hurriedly went home to tell her parents what happened in the pageant but no one's home.

She put her father’s cold body to the ground and start doing a CPR even though she just know the basics because their lesson in their p.e class.

She and Nina were crying in the middle of the busy road with huge traffic.
Hundreds of person just passed them by but there is only one person who help them bringing his father to the nearest funeral home.
Her father died mercilessly, he doesn’t deserve this kind of treatment.
