“NO WAIT ARE YOU DROWNING!?” *leaps into the water*

*he stopped swimming as he heard a splash behind him and he turned seeing Benji staring at him wide eyed*

*Benji turned around trying to swim above the water and turned back around struggling to move*

*he noticed a fishnet stuck on his boot and he swam over to untie it*

*he coughed running out of breath*

‘Stop moving!’ *he tried to yell through the water*

*Benji kept struggling and the net got tangled further up his leg*

*Benji gasped running out of breath as his struggling became weaker*

‘No!’ *he swam over quickly and wrapped his arms around Benji waist yanking him out of the net*

*he burst above the surface holding Benji tightly*

*he gasped and held Cordelia tight aswell*

‘T-thanks!’ *he stammered staring up at Cordelia’s strong form*

*he smiled at benji* ‘it was nothing’

*he wrapped his arms back around Benjis waist and dragged him up to the dock again*

*he placed him on the edge of the dock in a careful way*

‘T-thanks’ *Benji stammered in a flustered way staring at the handsome nymph*

‘You already said that’ *cordelia laughed*

‘A-anyway your a nymph right?’ *benji said trying to change the subject*

‘Yeah’ *he nodded crossing his arms to rest on benjis lap*

*Benji blushed and tried to talk again turning into a stuttering mess* ‘I-i-I-I w-well i-i u-uh i-i m-m-mean,’

*he smiled at benji* ‘well I better go before the townspeople see me’

*he slipped gracefully into the water*

*he sat there with his mouth wide open still trying to figure out what happened*

*Benji walked back to his house with a empty bucket and as he opened the door he saw his father waiting*

*he glared at Benji and said in a cold voice* “WHERE WERE YOU.”

“Father I fell into the water and got stuck-“ *he mumbled*

“LIKE I BELIVE THAT!” *the angry man roared*

“YOU DIDNT EVEN BRING BACK ANY FISH! WE NEED THOSE TO SELL AND MAKE MONEY YOU IDIOT!” *he grabbed a glass bottle and smashed it over benjis head*
Benji
*benji fell to the ground trembling in pain as he let out a scream* “AAAAA”
Cordelia
*he flinched swimming near the surface as he heard the sounds of screaming and smashing glass* “who’s making all that noise?..” *he mumbled to himself*
Benjis father
*benjis father stared emotionlessly at his trembling crying son* “YOUR SLEEPING ON THE DOCK TODAY”
Benji
*benji said nothing and held the back of his head as he stumbled out the door*

*he reached the dock and crouched crying*
Cordelia
“Benji?” *he asked poking his head out the water*
Cordelia
“Benji!?” *he repeated louder in a shocked tone as he saw blood in benjis hair*

*he pulled himself onto the dock and hugged Benji*

*he continued sobbing and turned around hugging Cordelia*

“Benji come with me” *he took a deep breath and light surrounded his tail morphing into a pair of slender legs*

“One more hug” *he squeezed Benji his legs wrapped around benjis waist*

“Thanks” *he hugged Cordelia back and then looked down*

“Oh I forgot when I morph I don’t have any clothes on…” *he shrugged*

*he went bright red and took of his jacket wrapping around Cordelia’s waist*

“Anyway follow me!” *he got up holding his hand out for benji*
