"Please Gia he will be a nice roommate I promise." Lily pleaded.

"But Lily finally I have got my own apartment I don't want to share it. I finally got to live alone. You know how much I wanted to live by myself since we were in college. Adding to it it's Zavier, your elder brother we are talking about. You know how I feel about him," I defended.

" I swear you won't even feel that anyone is there. Pleaseee! I will owe you one and will take you for Pizza every weekend for 3 month. Say it's a deal please." Lily offered.

Ah! The problem with dealing with a bestfriend is she knows all about your kryptonite.

"But..." I still tried to protest one last time.

"Even when you will not feel like going out I will deliver the pizza myself."

" Damn you! You just know too much! Fine I will accept Zavier as my Flat mate. You really know how much we hate each other still you are making me do it," I said to her.

"I wouldn't have but you know I am living with my boyfriend and my parents are such great travellers. They have put our house on rent for a year. Zavier doesn't have any other place to stay until he finds a rental place and shifting and all then too will take time but he had returned from Marine Force today. So you won't have any problem because he isn't civilize for now plus you will have additional income he is gonna pay the rent. Free money! , " saying that she started laughing.

" He was in Marine?" I asked.

" Oh! You didn't want to even hear his name so I didn't mention that earlier. C'mon now girl be ready to serve our serviceman," she said and winked on the video call.

"Eww you make it sound so wrong, " I joined laughing with her.

"Alright I will send him to you now, " Lily said.

"Now? He will be here from now only?"

" Yeah he was already on the way, " she replied.

Seriously! This girl was trying to cut a deal with me while he was already halfway.

" He put a frog in my shorts when we were 7 and you are making him my roommate. I hate that bastard," I said to those memories already making me angry.

"All those happened when we were kids now we are 25 and trust me you are not the only one who have issues with him. I really thought the girls who didn't have an elder brother like this are blessed. He was three years elder to us and was 30 times more irritating but still that was past. He had been better in later years you wouldn't know because you avoided him as much as you could since you joined college and he left to serve the very next year," she reminded me of more things that made me hate him so much.

He had cut off the hairs of my favourite doll. He had broken my new watch, threw my diary in a pond, made fun of me, the list just goes on and on. In short he made sure my live was hell. That snobby brat.

" I am gonna have headaches again," I sighed.

" Well it's not that bad I am not setting you up with him," she said and started laughing again. Yeah this girl is enjoying teasing me. Only if she hadn't been my bestie! I swear I would have pulled all her hairs out.

"Shut up! If you don't wanna die." I threatened.

" Alright I will and tonight lemme set you up with one of my colleague. It's been one and half year now and you are still living with the memories of that Nate since you too broke off.

" Nope I am not living with his memories. Infact after his cheating in our relationship I just have lost interest in dating and all. I don't think I will like anyone again," I said.

"C'mon girl. Off course you will just wait for tonight," she said giggling.

With few more giggles she bid me goodbye.

And soon enough my doorbell started ringing.

I opened the door and in front of me was the sight I didn't think I would see.

Zavier Throne stood at the door all tall, muscular, a little tanned with broad shoulders. His eyes as blue as the ocean itself. His hairs wasn't short and messed up like it used to be instead his dark hairs were all set smoothly swept back a little longer and were falling just above his shoulder. His face too wasn't now that of just a little scrawny boy ready to pull another prank but had turned handsome with chiseled jawline and he is standing here in his navy uniform which is adding to his hotness!

What the hell happened to the thin, scrawny, mischievous idiot little shit head?

" Hi Gia!" Even his voice has become deep, masculine, nice and smooth. Oh My God!

" Hi Zavier! All grown up now I see," I maintained my calm attitude.

" You can say that. It's been so long. How are you? Can I come in?" He asked.

"Sure! Come in," I moved aside giving him space to enter and closed the door as he entered," it's been 5 years since the last time we met before you were going away. I am as good as someone can get when there personal prankster leave them and that someone isn't the butt of their prankster's joke anymore. Your room is to the right," okay I shouldn't do that we are meeting after years. I shouldn't pick at old wounds so soon. I calmed myself down.

" I see you are still upset over our past memories," he replied and smiled softly it wasn't a teasing smile, " as we are starting a fresh, want me to apologise?" he asked.

" Looks like marine life taught you some manners. Good job growing up," I replied. Well he has turned really all well mannered but I don't want an apology after an entire childhood of hell. He was staring at me with an intense look so I just turned and started guiding him through the flat. I don't wanna blush in front of him.

"Thank you madam," he replied.

"That's the bathroom, there is kitchen, the living area is here and that's my room which is off course off limits. We will make more house rules later so that we can live peacefully for now that's all," I finished guiding him.

" I hope your house rules don't restrict me from us hanging by ourselves?

How about evening?" He asked and came closer. Damn what is trying now? I could feel the heat radiating out of him on myself.

" Depends on my schedule mister. My dearest Lily has set me up with some boy tonight," I played it cool to avoid him but as soon as I spoke these words I definitely heard him growl in a animalistic and possessive sort of way which made my heartbeat faster.

So I turned to look at him.

" Little Gia Neva has become a big girl now I see," he said when I turned towards him his eyes held a heated look, anger mixed in it but all of it quickly changed back to normal. He surely knows how to hide emotions.

"And is that a problem? " I asked just to irritate him.

He came closer. Dammit!

He bent enough to be at my eye level. We both held each other's gaze for I don't know how long. It felt as if he was looking in my soul.

"Maybe," he replied at length, "I am going to have shower Kiddo. "

'Kiddo' he is again using my old nickname and I still hate it as much as I used to hate it before.

"I am not a kid anymore!" I shouted after him.

"You sure? You still scream like one!" He replied laughing and shut the bathroom door.

This literally a mistake how the hell can I live with him? He is still annoying af ! Rich annoying brat!

I went in my room and called Lily.

" Is he already there? How are you holding on?" she asked.

"This is a bad idea Lily we are like oil and water. "

" Why? what did he do?" she asked.

" Don't you know girl to irritate me your dear brother doesn't even need to do anything. He has just got handsome that's all apart from that he is still annoying. " I ranted.

" That means it's better than before. Good going! Just try to forget all past things and start afresh. I told you when you went away to college he turned completely different and didn't do any nonsense. He had started being almost alone since then except for his few friends . Now just be ready for tonight." She told to me.

She will not understand it's useless to rant about it. So I just said alright.

I decided to have some lunch so I went out of the room at that same time Zavier too came out of the bathroom with nothing but a towel tied around his lower half.

He had perfect 6 pack abs with nicely toned muscles and water droplets made it glistening as they dripped from his chest to down on his abdomen.

His dark hairs too were matted and messed with water dripping off them. He surely has turned hotter.

As soon as his eyes fell on me I stopped staring him and looked at the floor.

"Liked what you saw? " He asked smirking.

You are not going to get at me now jerk.

"Nope you are wetting the floor. We will clean our own mess so dry the floor before you slip and break your legs or hip. I am not gonna help you or tend you if that happens," I replied.

"That mouth of yours still run savagely," He said with a dark look and licked his red full lips.

"Only for some. Now rule two don't walk around ***** like that here. Respect each other's privacy and space at all times. Go on dress up. " I commanded.

" Why am I too distracting? " he winked.

"Nope. Just irritating and messy. Now now hurry up clean all this, " I said and pointed at the floor.

" Well no need to hide I am just too hot to handle I know," he said and went back to his room laughing.

He is so annoying!!! Aaahh!

I set the table to have lunch and had enough mercy to make some sandwiches for him as well.

He came back from his room and cleaned the floor. Well he really has changed to some extend I thought he wouldn't clean all that and would just goof around but he really did it.

" Here I have made you some sandwiches and soup," I offered.

"Without poison?" he asked raising one of his eyebrows.

I couldn't help but smile.

" The only way to know that is after eating. Ready to take the risk?"

" Absolutely not come here and taste it first," he said and raised a spoonful of soup to feed me with his own hands. He is annoying but the way he is looking serious right now is really cracking me up.

I giggled and slurped the soup.

An idea struck my mind. I quickly made a disgusting face and held my throat and started fake gagging and coughing with a serious expression. I saw him getting anxious and he started calling my name," Gia!! GIA!!"

He quickly got up from his seat and started rubbing my back and was still shouting my name. His touch made felt strange not in a bad way. his touch was tingling and I started feeling hot. It shouldn't feel like this. So to avoid more contact I decided to drop the act plus he was looking genuinely worried, " thank you that really helped after getting poisoned."

He looked at me like he is gonna murder me which only made me cackle ( not wickedly I swear 😂).

" You will be the death of me. Dammit Kiddo! Don't pull anymore such pranks. " he said smiling.

" You wish. You know what? I pranked you for the first time and I love it already so I don't think I am letting you live in peace no way! time for revenge, " I challenged him.

" Oh I see. Alright go on but then don't complaint if I play pranks on you too, " he accepted my challenge.

" Lemme show you hell Mr. Throne," I smirked.

" If you are going to be my little minx then alright, I would like to see it, " he said and started eating the sandwich but kept his eyes on me which again darkened a little. Maybe I am imagining things but that gaze makes me hot.

Rest of the day I helped him in arranging his room because he promised to clean the house for next three days.

Later on I started writing the rules.

The rules were as follows:
