...Trisha Blake(I) was studying for a test I was going to be writing the next day.I was so engrossed in the book that I didn't even notice when Lydia entered the room. Lydia is my adoptive mom(kinda),we don't really get along much and its a miracle we've been able to live in the same place for this long, my adoptive father died some years ago and I've hated Lydia since, you'll find out why if you continue reading....

"Hey what are you doing?"Lydia asked and I mentally rolled my eyes,can't she see I'm reading a book,"I'm reading?" I replied instead ,"I have a test tomorrow and I have to study to pass the test in case you didn't know." She glared at me(here we go again),"Whatever,I came to ask if you wanted something to eat because I was going out but now...you can starve yourself to death for all I care." And she stomped out of the room.As if I'd believe that,I'm sure she is going to one of those college parties to waste 'my money'.Yes my money,she doesn't have a job and I have to work my *** off to pay our bills as well as get food on the table,but with the way she always acts its almost impossible. I run a hand through my hair and went back to studying. About an hour later,my phone rang and I picked it up to find that it was my notorious best friend calling me, maybe to tell me Lydia has shown up at one of her parties. So I asked,"What do you want?" She answered over the roar of the loud music playing in the background, "That is no way to talk to your best friend young lady,apologise immediately."

...And I sighed,sometimes I still wonder how we became friends in the first place.We were polar opposites of each other,And everything I despised, she loved them...for example parties, "Speak up or I'm ending this call in 3...2..." She quickly spoke up,"Wait wait don't hang up,I just wanted to tell you that I just saw Lydia arrive at the party I'm at right now..." When I didn't say anything, she continued,"...which you already know, and when I saw her stuffing her face sith food, I assumed you were also hungry so I'm offering to bring you some food if you want" I paused to consider her request when I was done I replied with four words only she would understand,"The door is open "I got up and walked to the bathroom in order to freshen up a bit before she came, by the time I was done I heard someone stomping away in the kitchen (She acted like a lady in school but anytime she was with me she acted like an over grown oaf,always stomping aroud) I went in my sleeping shorts and a tank top that ready '**** off' my headphones and a still damp hair with a towel across my shoulder.I stood at the tip of the stairs and watched as Daisy moved around in the kitchen, scrambling to find the utensils.She picked up a plate and started walking to the dining table when it fell out of her hands,she panicked and her head immediately whipped in my direction....

My eyes bore into hers with an annoyed look and she gave me a nervous smile which I didn't return, "Hey Trisha, I didn't see you there, come join us" My eyes narrowed,"Us?Who came with you?" I came down the stairs in deliberately slow steps which her answer and jumbled mess of nonsense.I passed by her and walked into the living room to find a boy watching t.v.I crossed my arms a cross my chest and asked, "Who are you?" He turned so quickly I wondered if he got a whiplash.I heard come Daisy come up behind me and try to pull me back into the kitchen, it was unsuccessful so she switched to using words instead, "You were hungry weren't you now the food is ready,let's go eat." I narrowed my eyes at her,"***Shut up or I'll make you."

Why doesn't she want me to see this boy who now wore a stupid smirk on his face, oh I'll wipe it off and he'll know I'm serious. I asked again,"Who are you?" He looked around and pointed to himself,"Who?Me***?" I hate people who act stupid.

"I don't think I see anyone here who I'm unfamiliar with so answer my damn question. " He was about to answer when Daisy spoke up,"He's Christian Andrews, a friend of mine, I invited him to join us since he drove me here." I turned to face her with my arms crossed ,"So you invited a stranger to my house without my permission. " She drew a circle with her feet. Definitely hiding something but I didn't mind.She said in a small voice which she only used when she tried to convince me "Well he dropped me off and I wanted to thank him so I asked him to join, if I had know you'd be mad I would have told you before you ended the call."
