Chapter-1 Andrew's/Lio (POV)

Feeling numbness all over my body, I opened my eyes, I somewhat still feel dizzy, when I suddenly remembered why I am feeling like this, i thought to myself 'am I not dead' I still could't see anything around me everyting is hazy but something is wrong I feel a bit weird, my... body feels weird, 'may be they are the aftereffects of the accident' I thought, but I can feel the cool air and fresh smell like rain, pine and flowers "ummmm.. it's feels so good which roomfreshners they are using infact of medicines it smells like forest"i closed my eyes and tried to focused,

And when I opened my again, "ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!! why am i in the middle of the forest?!"should't I be in the hospital bed right now what am I doing here and why the trees are so big?!

AGH… I groaned in pain what's going on?!

Okay… Forget it I am alive that's it, that's what matters, I tried to stand only to know that I can't move my legs, or I should say I can't feel my legs but when I saw my legs...

What is this, am i dreaming my legs looks weird, kind of like dragons that i have seen so much on tvs..because they are so black like obsidian with red strips on in it but they kind of looks beautiful the scales are shiny...

On no what am I even thinking, I am dreaming right? I will wake up sooner or later...

I feel thirsty I want water but how can one feel thirsty in his dreams,

anyway i need water which means i have to stand and walk 'aghhhh.. how am I even going to walk in these two legs' I scratched my head in frustration..

"Don't tell me?!"

Don't tell me that even my head and hands looks like a lizard!!

Now I have to walk and look at myself before I wake up from this fantasy dream,

I tried to stand by using the nearby tree as my support system I really don't know how to walk in these legs but this dream feels too real like I really am feeling the pain I walked few steps like a drunk man who can't control his alcohol, but after few steps i got use to my "legs" I still walked a bit in awkward position but still it was fine as long as I can walk,

I saw a beautiful pond nearby I tried to walk as fast as I can, I forgot everything for a second, the scene was this beautiful the lake was surrounded by green trees, beautiful flowers that I have never seen in my entire life, some flowers were even bigger then me and there on the right side of the pond was a animal it looked like a deer but it was blue in color with antlers on his head it radiated a faint blue glow it was drinking water from the pond the water in the pond was really clean and diffrent types of fish could be seen, even the aquatic plants could be seen, the water was this clear,

'WOW I would like to dream like this every time it is so beautiful I have never seen something like this' I thought to myself and bent down to drink water as i drank the water it was unlike any water I had, even the water taste like heaven it was so sweet, as I was drinking the water I saw my reflection in the water and the water which was in my mouth... came out of my mouth and nose as I choked on water because of what I saw, I really can't believe my eyes because I really look like a dragon which I have seen in anime or movies and not only that I have a pair of red wings and the wings are not like dragon's but a bird like wings and on top that I look weird but in beautiful way the color of my skin looks pitch black with red strips on it and and the red wings which I don't know how to use'Wow this dream is so sweet and awesome'...

As the "deer" saw me it bent it neck like it was greeting  me I was shocked speechless, my mind really has gone mad, how can my subconscious mind be so dumb to make me see this kind of dream, do animals really greet each other but still to be polite I bent my head only to fall in the pond....

my body balance  is really bad I tried to swim only to know I can't swim my heartbeat started to beat so violently that I felt like my heart was going to some out of my chest, I tried to tell myself that it is only a dream but I got scared shitless....

'I would wake up any movement now'

Now I am sure it is not a dream because if it would have been I would have been awake till now...

Now I know it is not a dream only to die again.

I can't breath oh shit! How could this be, was I really dead before?, I know it is not a dream but was I really dead before?, was I reincarnated? is reincarnation real? Is this earth am I in future or in past or is this some other world, shit I don't wanna die here but wait I am not human what am I supposed to do if I am not human but I don't want to die here like this, I don't want to die again...

"Ahhhhhh!!!! HELPPPPP!!! SOMEBODY HELPPPP!!!" I shouted on top of my lungs but it felt like a whimper of pain I choked on water again I can feel the water getting in my lungs maybe I wasn't  supposed to be born again...

but now I am born again so I refuse to die not here not today and not like this, I tried my best I shouted, cried and saw that the "Deer" which was supposed to be standing there is no where in site I got so angry that I felt a burning sensation but how can someone burn in water but there was no one around me and I felt my anger rising again, 'Why? why is it everytime me? what have i ever done wrong, from the time when I was 7 still my death i have never done wrong i just did what was right is it because i never belived in God, a God who took away my happiness my parents my everything, why, why is it everytime just me'and as my anger rose the fire with my body started to rise..

I felt hot allover my body and when I saw my small yet scaly hands they were burning not just "buring" but they were on fire like "real fire" and they were still still buring even in the water and then I felt my wings start to burn and the whole water started to heat up and it was getting more and more difficult to breath why is my body on fire... what the hell is going on?!, I don't feel pain but it is scaring me shitless and I felt my eyes getting heavy....

and at last I closed my eyes and welcomed my death again.....

"Is he okay?"

"He'll be fine he is a strong boy he is our son"

I heard people wispering to each other.. as i tried recalling what actually happened....

wait! WHAT I am not dead... i opened my eyes abruptly and I saw the room which was decorated with candles and lamps, looked at the wooden roof and the pale blue colored wall and then i tried to sit only to feel pain in my chest...

"Oh honey don't... just rest right now you are still not well, you need to rest...my poor baby... mom was so worried  about you" just as she finished saying these words in soft whisper, she started sobbing, she was crying and calling me baby but she looked like she is in her teens she looks like she is not more than 18 or 19, she is beautiful with her amber color eyes which were full of tears but still looked beautiful, she had small height but was slender and had fire like red hair which gave a contrast  to her pale skin and behind her was a tall muscular man who seems like more than 6'8 he had red eyes with a perfect god like body and tan skin and the eyes of both of these people showed that they are not human but their eyes were filled with love, tenderness, warmth and worry...

I have not felt these kind of emotions from a long time and when I looked into their eyes I felt my eyes getting hot, my tears wanted to come out and I tried my best to control them but at last my emotions won and I started crying...

"What's wrong Lio? Are you hungry mummy will make you a tasty dish don't cry baby we are sorry we left you alone in the home that time, this would never happen again don't cry, okay?" She spoke softly her voice was like feather which could make anyone's heart tremble but what I felt was warmth....

warmth which i haven't felt in so long...

but I don't remember what happened which is weird, I now remember that I was in this room when I woke up and went outside the room and then after that I don't remember anything, then I know what happened in the forest and my whole body was in pain but before when I was in my room I was fine till then, it is really weird...

"Son you are not even a day old and you already started running around you made was so worried  but now we know you are strong that you started walking the time you were born we are so proud, but now you are so small so don't run around like that" the man said in a soft yet firm voice...

As I was looking at them, I felt like I was looking at my parents and I felt a strong connection i could even smell there scent it was mixture of pine, sandalwood, chocolate and floral smell which was very calming...

Wait…I think I have gained qualities of a dog too? And am i there pet or what? Are they my Hooman parents?

"Lio wait till you are 1 month old you will be able to change into your human form, okay? Otherwise, people will do bad things to you and don't go outside without us again."

as the man finished speaking i sighed a breath of relief as i am not really a pet and really their child and i can even change back to human form..

but It looked like my new dad was giving me an order but his tone was so soft yet it sounded like command... I nodded my head..

I don't know why but I feel comfortable and complete like I got what I really wanted but still there is something which is missing and is very important but right now I don't know what it is but I still have time, till then I should know more about this world and my parents....

Okay so now I understand this is the world of magic which is impossible to belive but I have to... because I never belived in reincarnation but see here I am in this world there are many kinds of species most of them are which were myths in my old world but some new and rare kind of species are also here in this world and here even an hour old baby can talk and walk WOW but here are humans too, they are like normal mortals how they were in my previous world they don't just start walking when they are born...haha..

but some humans are diffrent some of them are powerful they have magic powers, some among them are evil and some are good and most of them consist of hunters which are the most powerful race among the humans but they don't just kill the species like us but they even kill humans with powerful bloodlines or humans with powers for there blood rituals and ceremonies... which I really feel is a bit disgusting...

humans can have a longer lifespans and can even be an immortal but they have to pass many trials and there was just one person in history to ever pass it.... but human growth is just as it was on earth but the legal age here is sixteen, but non-humans have diffrent growing phenomenon here...

this world is filled with bloodbath and wars and to live in this world I have to prepare myself because In my previous life I have never hit anyone even as a joke and even if someone would hit me I still won't raise my hand but this world is diffrent I have to adapt and train myself in magic and even in combat because now I have people to protect I will never let history repeat itself, mom-dad don't worry you have your son now...

I am still small but I don't know how I can read and speak there language, when I started speaking I didn't felt that the language i was speaking was diffrent but when i saw the books which was lying on the table, the characters seems to be diffrent but I still was able to read them maybe it is magic too... I already know a bit about this world this world is known as lunar world which is... well it really is unusual...

i am unusual too i am a hybrid of Phoenix  and a dragon i am I first ever hybrid to be born out of the two races haha what a joke my parents love each other, but to be with each other, they have to leave everything  behind because my mother and father's  species  despise each other not just despise  but hate each other so much that they want to clean each other up hahaha but I was born it was assumed that both species will maintain peace  and I will be a peace sign, unfortunately I was the peace sigh which no one wanted and my mother and father are on a run well my parent's didn't tell me this but I somehow remember I feel like when I was in my mother's womb I remember some important details previously I thought it was just my illusion or something but no it was true and well i don't know everything but i still know things which I should know and I don't think that even my parent's know about this that I know about it...

BUT... thank you God for giving me a new life and a family I always said I never belived in you but to be honest I belived but I was just so angry for whatever happened in my past life but thank you i will cherish my parents now....

And i will become stronger and protect the people i care about.

...Lio's P.O.V....

Finally all is going well, my parents adore me and loves me and yeah I love them back, it's just that i get scared easily, this world really is full of shitty people, i can't even belive people will kill just for fun or if they think someone did wrong, even loving someone out of their species is crime.. agh narrow minded people.. "all of them are old goat" I murmured,

"Who are old goat?" My mother asked and I jumped in surprise,

"Mom when did..." I tried to ask but she smiled and beamed her smile was even brighter then the sun and then said,

" oh my baby.. what were you thinking about? that you didn't even realized that I was here, now come on tell me who is that old goat? Let's go and beat them up" and then she started laughing, mischief could be clearly seen in her eyes,

I sighed, she looks like a kid right now but I love her, she is more than 100 years old already but she still looks like a nineteen year old or maybe twenty, but the gentle yet naughty glint in her eyes tells that she is still a child,

"Why are you like this Lio, you are a kid not even one month old and you are sighing like I am a kid and you are my mom" she looked at me with those teary eyes for which one can give his life...

"Oh my lovely and beautiful mom, I was thinking about the goat that was near the pond that time, I know it is not really a goat but still it looked like a goat" I lied because I don't want her to worry about me that i know everything...

She laughed and I smiled, (I think I smiled but I don't know that dragons can smile or not)

"That's not goat that was one of the protector, the last one, it is not very powerful and only because of this it is alive or else the demons would have killed it too, after the war between demons and protectors the demons won and even if one protector survived it still lost it's divine power and it's 'divine human form' because of the curse which only the demon king can remove and that is the reason the protector is hiding here"

"What is a protector and that divine human form and power?" I asked her,

"Haha my boy is a curious one, okay let me tell you a story" she said and then she started telling me the story,

Long time ago after the creation of humans, elf, mermaids, dragons, Phoenix, Angels, spirits, fairies, and many more, all these species lived in peace until one day the god created a being which was as powerful as him, god created him to protect the people, help them and make them happy he was filled with pure energy and love but to make others happy he started to give them his pure energy and in return take their resentment and hate which started to change him but god thought he is the purest person in the world even purer than him and no hate or resentful energy can harm him but the world is big enough and people are filled with greed, hate, jealousy, resentment even the person who have everything is not happy and the God's son as people liked to call him tried to make everyone happy,

But after thousands of years, one day the resentful energy accumulated too much that the person who always had a gentle smile on his face had a smirk which was not a normal smirk but something which told everyone 'get out of my way or you'll be killed' that day he killed half of the gods and other gods fled but the god who created him fought him, even when the god won, he was not able to kill him, someone who he thought of as a son, so in the end he sealed him between time and space and to protect the people and place where the first deamon was sealed,

The god created protectors but this time he did not created them but gave each and every being in this world some powers but as time went by the powers of people started to grow and some even became gods in the end but their was only one to be recorded to be able to become a god but he gave up his Godhood and became the demon king instead, saying this world is just a plaything for gods doing experiments,

and the people who were powerful enough became protector which were just over 500,

After sometime the god who gave up his godhood released the first damon and they together killed the protectors,

The gods were terrified and are still in hiding today doing work from the dark.

"So mom what happened to those demons? And the gods they did nothing?" I asked

"Sigh... well about gods I don't know where they are but the demons... well they send the demons to slaughter people and I don't know when this will stop..the first demon is alive because he is immortal and the second died because before he was just a human, when he became the god he became immortal but when he rejected the godhood, he could have lived a normal life but he became a fallen god and in the end demon, he went against the laws of heaven and got cursed to die when he falls in love with someone, if he start to love or start to have feelings he would die and not only that but his soul would also not be allowed in this world ever again" she finished,

"Mom who did he fell in love with????" I asked, all this curiosity is eating me like noodles,

"Well it is not known, but people say he fell in love with the first demon and the day he confessed he died and his soul got shattered into millions of pieces"

"Oh... but it's so sad.. he never got to stay with the person he loved..." I muttered under my breath...

"Hmmm.. well yeah it was their fate" my mother said in a gentle yet serious tone she was thinking too hard that one could see the lines on her forehead,

"Well I'll go and cook dinner" she said and left the room.

'Fate huh? Well if something like this  happens to me I'll change the course of the fate' I thought, but it is not just my thought but my promise, I would if I have to.

THIRD PERSON'S P.O.V.

A person standing in a dark room face hidden in the shadows the room was black the walls red and he wipped the person, with the wip overflowing with current, the person's body was covered in blood and the wounds from the wip were so deep that one could even see the bones,

"Take him to the black prison, first cut his each and every finger then remove his skin and then hang him on the wall to rot or if you like give him to the beasts, they are hungry anyways" the man sitting on the kings throne said, his voice was like cream, it was deep like ocean but the words were like hot iron, one could not see his face but could tell he was nothing better than a devil...voicec as alluring as devil but his face was always under a crying mask, and the room was dark enough to even hide the look of the mask...

"Yes master" the butler said in a loud yet respectful voice, they all were used to their lord doing stuff like this, but today it was really too much,

"He can't even kill a kid who is not even a month old, shame on you,

You really don't deserve to live" the master said and vanished into thin air.
