It's the Year X783 July 7
Luke and Lucy have just turned 16 years old this year.
Both the lives of twins have been so different, and they grow up in absolutely different environments.
Due to this factor their personalities have also changed from their past ones.
Lucy had lost her memories of her life prior to her new life with Jude Heartfillia, but she has one memory of her the day she came here, so she was able to be alive to this day.
When Jude knew about this, he decided to use her to the full extent.
Since, he didn't have an heir, he decided to make her the heir but also treat her worse than an animal.
He would abuse her in the name of heir education and also for the future sake she must discard these feelings and such like that, he brainwashed her completely. But due to Lucy never telling him she still has memory of her last day before coming here she was able to stay sane and rational and not lose to the brainwashing.
Everyone working in the mansion looked at her at pity and sympathy would dare not help due to Jude's influence of fear but once in while some would help Lucy secretly.
Every day, she would receive all kinds of punished and her body was covered in scars and bruises and on top of that her father would also ask her to go to war.
Lucy always longed to be free and live her life as she wished and also find her lost memories.
On the other hand, Luke had a particularly better and nicer childhood compared to Lucy. Since he was surrounded by his parents and trusted people to be a better ruler and protectors. He, too, was sent to war but for the experience. He wanted to get stronger to find his sister and reunite with their parents. Someone he didn't lose even a single memory except that day's memory.
Growing up in a warm and good environment made him a good person, but he was unable to discern between them because he never had felt this pain, hard work, abuse, despair, and so on, and him being a righteous person. Since him being such a person he wouldn't understand others' sorrow well. He has enjoyed his life fairly but with a mind that reminds him of what happened that day(was told)
Having lived different lives they have individual developed skills and Lucy was given her mother's key resulting in her life as a celestial mage. On the other hand he mastered all kinds of maker magic and so on.But they still have yet to meet and do some stuff they missed over their childhood and help eachother and so on....
