One rainy afternoon, an orphanage on a hill is introduced. Inside live 27 children and one nanny. While the nanny and some kids are preparing for lunch, Javeria is washing her hands. But the moment she finishes, loud banging and kicking sounds come from the front door. It seemed like an intruder was trying to get in.
Javeria’s heart sank. All noise suddenly went silent except for the banging on the door. As Javeria was standing still with a horrified expression on her face the intruder broke in. It was a man about two - three years older than her with dark hair and an average height, the younger children all started screaming and crying as the nanny was desperately trying to hide them. Even though it was pure chaos in the orphanage all Javeria did was stand there, petrified. The intruder was armed with a gun and he pointed the gun at the nanny and shot her merciless. She laid flat on the ground, even though she was still breathing hope for living was almost pointless for her.
The intruder didn’t lower his gun yet and had shot some of the younger kids as they were trying to escape. Javeria got back in her senses and got up from her place and hid. The intruder visibly saw her but didn’t do anything, she took this chance to get away from the bad hiding spot and took some kids with her to get out of the house. One kid tripped and got shot, another didn’t run fast enough and also got shot. Now it was Javeria and one last child. When they finally got to the back door of the house Javeria tried to get him out of the house but as she picked him up he was snatched away from the intruder.
The guy looked at Javeria and shot the little boy right in front of her, Javeria knew that the boy couldn’t possibly live after that so she ran away as far and fast as she could. She knew that since the intruder was with Javeria all the other ones were dead, she ran and ran but strangely enough the intruder didn’t chase after her, instead he turned around and left. Perhaps he let her go on purpose, but Javeria would never know now.
As she was running through the surrounding forest she got too tired to go on. She figured she could rest a little on a tree bark and go on with her journey afterwards. “I have to find a city,” she thought to herself. “But where will I even go? I don’t have time to think like this I could be tracked down by that murder.”
After the short rest she kept going on to find a city, somewhere, anywhere. But before she could reach her unlocated destination, she was found by people, she didn’t know them and neither did they know her.
“Good evening, miss. I assume something has happened that a young girl like you would be running in the woods,” said the tall man in a clean suit.
Javeria didn’t reply for a second, she didn’t want to but seeing they could help her she told them what happened at the orphanage, “I came here from and orphanage up on the hill, and intruder has broken in and killed the other ones in the building. He’s either out chasing me or he escaped the crime scene. Could you help me find the nearest police station?”
The man didn’t even make a face at what she told him, instead he had a smirk on his face that made Javeria very disturbed. “I can get you somewhere better than a police station. We can help shelter you and get revenge on the killer, but in return you will work for us. No matter the condition,” said the man with a calm tone.
“No matter the condition? That sounds suspicious,” Javeria thought. But then she spoke to him, “I don’t even know your name let alone the conditions of the work that I will be put in.”
“Correct, that is why we will give you a preview or training of your future working conditions if you agree to come with us,” replied the man “Oh, and my name is Mr.Mayles but you’re free to call me Zayne,” said Zayne with a smile on his face.
Javeria hesitated for a second, but chose to trust them as she had nothing to lose. Later on they went into a car which Javeria had never actually been in one since she grew up in an orphanage, but she did read about them. After they arrived at their destination they stopped at an apartment building. Zayne opened the apartment door with the keys to it and handed them to Javeria.
“What’s this?” Javeria asked fully knowing what they were.
“The keys to this apartment, it’s yours now,” replied Zayne.
Javeria silently took them as they entered the apartment room an when she looked into the apartment she saw that it was already decorated with furniture, old books, and store bought food. Making it seem like somebody was already living here. “Is someone already here?” Asked Javeria.
“Yes, I thought it would be best to let you have the easiest accesss to your mentor if you would agree to sign the contract,” said Zayne in a sinister tone, “though I think he hasn’t come back from his recent job yet.”
“Let me read the terms and conditions first,” demanded Javeria.
“Even though she grew up in an orphanage she seems like a smart girl… perfect, she’s just what I need,” thought Zayne with a large smirk on his face. “Yes yes, I’ll discuss the contract with you tomorrow morning but for now I think it’s best that you get some sleep.”
Javeria agreed and Zayne led her to where she will be sleeping for the night. The next morning Javeria put on her clothes and headed to the kitchen only to find a strangely familiar feeling man. He seemed shocked to see her as well. He was about two years older than her and had a great physique. Very familiar to Javeria.
“Who are you,” said the man in a demanding tone.
“My name is Javeria, Zayne told me I could stay here for a while. I’m guessing you’re my new trainer?” Replied Javeria.
“… I haven’t heard anything about a trainee, but my name is Manho,” said Manho. He then put his shoes on and left through the front door. Javeria found him weird but she felt as if she had seen him before, it gave her a weirdly triangle sensation.
